I've loved reading the Lovelight Farms series and I've been eagerly awaiting Charlie and Nova's book after seeing the hints abou them in the first three and it was definitely worth it!

I love the relationship between Charlie and Nova - their dynamic and banter was so fun! I don't love the friends with benefits trope but it was well done in this book, though I do wish there was a bit more of their friendship before it immediately became physical (although I guess this is hinted at in the earlier books).

I also really liked that both Charlie and Nova were complex characters individually and both had things that they needed to deal with and overcome. Although they were dealing with these separately, they both supported encouraged each other which was very sweet.

Of course it was also lovely to be back in Inglewild! I love the small town aspect of this series, and it was great to see the other characters and the phone tree again!

Review:
‘Business Casual’ is the perfect conclusion to the Lovelight series and I’m still so emotional that it’s all come to an end. Each book in the series made me think it couldn't get any better, but Borison proved me wrong every time. This final installment left me completely satisfied and so full of emotions.

The story centers around Nova and Charlie, two characters who quickly became my favorites. Nova, with her ‘no time for love’ attitude, finds her world turned upside down by Charlie, who is charming and irresistibly sweet. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their relationship development feels natural and unforced.

Nova is funny, smart, and under a lot of pressure to succeed. Her journey is relatable and touching. Charlie, on the other hand, is more than just a handsome face. He is kind, caring, and his actions for Nova are heartwarming. Their slow-burning romance is filled with delightful banter and intense moments that had me hooked throughout!

The Lovelight crew adds even more charm to the story. They are supportive, hilarious, and always there for each other, making them the ultimate squad goals. If a place like Inglewild truly existed in the real world, I’d pack my bags and move there without a doubt!

Borison has crafted a beautiful and memorable story that feels like a warm hug for your heart. This book, and the entire Lovelight series, will stay with me for a long time and is a must-read for fans of small-town romance, found family and books that feel like a warm hug!

I've loved reading the Lovelight series and will be sad to let go of all these characters!
Charlie and Nova's relationship was everything I wanted and Charlie's just scrapped Beckett as my favourite MMC.
Charlie is clearly obsessed with Nova from the start and has no problem showing it with all his flirty banter!
Golden Retriever x Black Cat
I adore Borison's writing and am intrigued on reading her next novel now out of the Lovelight universe.

Business Casual 4⭐

The fourth book in the Love Light Farm series is fun, light read with a good dollop of romance. Swoonworthly MMC and a delight to read.

Charlie and Nova have a very sweet reverse Grumpy sunshine, friends to lover, friend with benefits and opposites attract romance

Charlie is the biggest cinnamon roll you've ever met. I loved that Charlie was super goofy and really likeable- I felt like he was someone I already knew or could be friends with. I really enjoyed his found family story line and the authentic feel to this.

Nova is a tattoo artist striking out on her own after years of working in other people's shops. she's creative, caring, and hard working. She's also delusional, delusional that she can keep hers and Charlie's blossoming relationship a secret.

I was laughing out loud from the beginning. Nova's proposition of Charlie and his unfortunate misunderstanding had me belly laughing, his reaction was priceless. Also the poor Hydrangeas- will they ever recover!?!

This is the first of the series I have read and I felt I did not need to read the others to be able to enjoy it. It left me wanting to pick up the others and get to know their stories. I found it a really charming read. Overall I gave it a solid four stars and would certainly pick up other books by B. K. Borison.

Thank you to Netgalley and Pan Macmillan for sharing a digital reviewers copy with me in exchange for a review.

I am a little late with my ARC review, which once again a big thank you to @netgalley for this chance! 🫶🏻
Life got a little bit in the way of everything lately 🫣

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,5

I have to say that this book has to by my favourite of the whole series!
There was a nice build-up and I loved the fact that he put the ball in her camp and didn’t just jump her bones 👀

Nova really is the grump and Charlie is our sunshine in this story, I really love when there is a reversed grumpy-sunshine trope 😤☀️

I also loved the way she used humour throughout the novel and it made me smirk and kick my feet 🤭

I think that we can conclude that this books wraps up the Lovelight farms series perfectly 🥰

This book is perfect if you love:
🏡 small town
🛌 one night stand (but not really)
🧲 opposites attract
💚 friends to lovers

It's another amazing addition to the Lovelight Farms series. I was hoping that Charlie would get a book, and getting to see more of Nova was so sweet. This one made me squeal so many times. I laughed a lot, you can't help that with Charlie around, and it was just lovely. It was amazing to return and see all of other beloved couples and see where they were and to watch it all unfold. The PHONE tree is at it's peak and it made me so happy! I adored how cute and real this one was, Nova really has to dig deep, as does Charlie.

I find it much harder to write a review of a book I thoroughly enjoyed than for a book I did not like. I enjoyed all previous books of the Lovelight series, and this one is the perfect completion of a series I don't want to end.

First of all a big thank you to NetGalleand the publishers for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a fitting conclusion to the Lovelight Farms books and was also probably my favourite of all four. Charlie and Nova were adorable. Really enjoyed how they both grew throughout this book.

Would recommend this whole series. I am not ready to leave the small town that these books were set in.

“I’ve taught myself how to be okay with fragments of feeling, but i don’t want that with you. I want more than what you’ve given me.”

I recieved this ebook from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! All opinions are my own.

I cried with this one, it was so good. New favorite.

This is the fourth and final book in the Lovelight series. Every book follows a different couple but the stories are in order so you could read spoilers about a previous couple if you read them out of order.

I absolutely adore this small town, its people, the main couples in the books, everything! I'm going to miss them so much. The author said she's not closing the door to Inglewild completely and I hope to read more about it some day.

I love Nova and Charlie, the main characters in this one that we knew from before, they both needed to realize some things about themselves and it was a fantastic journey. I fell in love with their story.

The romance was perfect. It was going to be a one night stand to get it out of their systems and we all know how that usually goes.

I love how close the family and friends are in these books, it's like everyone in town is a big family.

I loved Charlie's personality and how much he worked in the farm to help Stella and everyone else. I also loved the ending, the epilogue was great. I think this may be my favorite couple, or well at least my second favorite cause Stella and Luka from the first book have a piece of my heart.

This book has so much love and friendship. It was a perfect ending of this series.

"CHARLIE: Why? Are you jealous, Nova girl?
NOVA: Hard to be jealous when I can still feel you every time I sit down, Charlie.
CHARLIE: Fuck."

GIRL! THE BEST BOOK OF THE SERIE!

I never imagine that I would love this book so much that I cannot stop reading! I love the relationship between them, Nova is like a "cold heart" for everyone but she has a beautiful soul, I love her so much and I feel very identified with her, I think im like her, and I love how she is a business woman, she has her own dream and she didn't care about any person and what they think about her tattoos, and how she thinks Charlie is amazing but she doesn't want a relation ship until he start to go out with him.

Charlie is amazing, he has a beautiful heart, he is so into her, he cares about her and how she feels about everything, im so in love with this guy, the way he loves his sister and his brother-in law, im sobbing thinking about how alone he felt without his sister all his life, I cannot believe how lucky he is for finding a new home in this book with another family that he create by his own choice.

I think this book is home, and I've never recover it because I want this in my life.
BK Borison always do the same, she makes my heart hurt so bad, because I don't have that sense of home, family that she create in her books.
Thanks for this amazing book.

Business casual is a standalone romance set in the wholesome town of Inglewild and is also the final book in the interconnected Lovelight series.

I cannot tell you how excited I was to get my hands on this ARC! I absolutely loved B.K Borisons other books and this one did not disappoint. This is definitely a must read for anybody who loved a small town/ friends to lovers romance. Even though it can be read as a stand alone, I would definitely recommend reading the other books in the series to get a feel for the other characters and their relationships.

In the book we follow Nova and Charlie’s story, which started off as a promise of a one night stand but leads to so much more! Both characters are so beautifully written and relatable, I was rooting for them from the start! Charlie is my new favourite MMC in this book series 🙈 his love language is remembering the little things and I’m so here for it. It literally had me kicking my feet whilst reading 🥹 I didn’t want this series of books to end but so glad to go out with an angel like Charlie Boy 🫶🏻

Many thanks to Netgalley and Pan Macmillan for the ARC.

The highly anticipated final book in the much loved Lovelight Series. I love this series with my whole entire heart and absolutely adored Nova and Charlie’s story. A perfect conclusion to a wonderful series.

Business Casual is the fourth (maybe final?) book of the Lovelight Farm series. I have read the first two books, third book yet to read, but I got this as an ARC.

Business Casual follows the love story between Beckett's sister Nova Porter and Charlie, Stella's half-brother. The story starts with Charlie shipping off his sister and Luca to the honeymoon and taking over the farm temporary. Nova Porter owns a tattoo shop but refuses to fall in love. Nova makes a proposition to Charlie--Nova wants to get Charlie out of her system and so they decided to spend the night together with no strings attached. However, they cannot seem to avoid each other and the two starts falling in love with each other.

I love reading Lovelight farm series but I feel I like this book more than the first book of the series. Instantly, you can feel the chemistry between Nova and Charlie and as a reader, you actually want them to be together! The writing was great, I also like Charlie's estranged relationship with his father and his adjustment living in the farm while working as an investment banker. Nova is the female version of Beckett (if you have read the first two books you will understand) . And I really like the ending.

You can read this book as a standalone although if you want to know more about the other characters, you might have to read the first three books. I actually enjoyed reading this book and worth 4.5 stars.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Pan Macmillan for the ARC. The review is based on my honest opinion only.

Such a sweet story! I loved the dynamic between Nova and Charlie, how he was the sunshine always trying to make her and everyone else happy, he’s truly a selfless character who also happens to be very vulnerable. Nova was also characterised very well by the author, i love her independence, her fierceness and how she learnt day by day how to make space in her life for love.

Absolutely loved the next book in this cute and cosy series.
All of the characters in Inglewild are fabulous but I think these are my favourite couple yet and Charlie is definitely my favourite of the Inglewild men.
It was obvious from the start how these two felt about each other and I really enjoyed seeing their story unfold.
My only two very minor dislikes were Charlie calling Nova "Nova Girl" and all the "snickering" that went on.

GAHHH!! This book!!! My heart is full and happy and Nova and Charlie get all the heart eyes. I loved every single thing about it. It was just perfect..

Charlie oh Charlie. I loved him so much and just, he’s so everything and I wanted to hug him. I was so proud of him. And Nova is just so beautiful. I love how they just see each other and the support and friendship they have, while their feelings continue to grow. And then the chemistry between them? Wow 😮‍💨, it was fun and playful and oh so steamy.

With this one, I just kept getting hit in the feels. All the happy tears leaking down my face and a silly smile slapped on it, and then parts had me in hysterics, god they had just good back and forth. I just could not get enough of this book nor stop reading and absolutely devoured it. I love this small town and all its people and the series is just so wonderful. It was everything I didn’t know I needed. And just go read it already!

it was amazing

"i've taught myself how to be okay with fragments of feeling, but i don't want that with you. i want more than what you've given me"

this book.. yeah it was everything and the perfect ending for this cozy and lovely series as well known as the lovelight series.

business causal is one of my favorite reads of the year, for sure no questions about it and the way i related to both of the characters … i can’t with them bc they are literally my favs and i know that i fell in love with all of the books of this series but u know?with charlie and nova it’s different and it was even more different because of knowing that this one would have been the final book so it felt even more special to me… bc this university was (and still is) a cozy and lovely escape and while i was reading all the stories of these lovely characters i felt that i was there with them <3 .

nova and charlie, my favs.i've been anticipating their story for a long time now, and it clearly did not disappoint.

their story was friends with benefits to lovers with black cat and golden retriever vibes and the tropes have been well executed and I MEAN that .

charlie… what can i say about him? i’ve just love for him and i related to him maybe… too much and nova i could relate to her too and i can that she’s everything and i would like to be more like her in future because she can be so strong and independent so in my opinion she’s a really one!

plus if you’re a acts of services lover well u won’t be disappointed… do i need to say more?

charlie and nova together are the definition of perfection and the family found was everything and more! but we aren’t surprised right? <3

thank you so netgalley and macmillan for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion!
