This was a really satisfying and compelling conclusion to what has been an excellent duology. The stakes were higher in this novel and the world was expanded, which was great to see. I also really enjoyed Giorgina and Nehal's story arcs, with both women facing bigger obstacles and challenges and having some really poignant character moments. Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and will definitely pick up future releases by Hadeer Elsbai.
