I was really stoked to read this because the description sounded awesome. I’m so sad to say it didn’t hold my interest right away which is how I like thrillers to be. I did keep going and there were so good twists so I’m glad I stuck it out. It was good, just not great. Thank you Netgalley for the eArc.

I was excited to read this after reading the synopsis, but I think the story fell short. I was hoping for more.

Absolutely loved this book , right from the start you can tell it’s going to be such a well written, interesting story . I loved the characters and how their lives all intertwined. I will definitely recommend this book and can’t wait for the next from this author . 5 stars from me

Thank you for Netgalley and the publisher to let me read this book in exchange for an honest review.
The synopsis sounded really interesting with the people on the street receiving threatning letters and an MC moving in to the community after her boyfriend kicked her out. But unfortunately the letters weren't mentioned much but boy o boy was the mention of the ex boyfriend mentioned to exhaustion, which made the MC very annoying and pitying. I liked the side story with the family next door and felt for the son.
Overall i expected more thrill from the letters and possible more sinister plot with them. Instead i got a more literary fiction with a dead person.
Unfortunately this was not for me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc. I liked the idea in this thriller book of a series of letters dropping through the neighborhood's letter boxes. Lena is new to the neighborhood and has secrets to hide. So do the neighbors and the letters are threatening.

Lena just moved into Mandalay Close. She needed a new start since her boyfriend cheated her out of their home and happy=ever-after she'd believed they were always going to share. But on the day she moves in, the letters begin to arrive for all her new neighbours. Letters that promise to expose everyone's deepest, darkest secrets. Every house has received one - except for Lena's. Someone clearly wants to implicate her, to ruin her new life and turn everyone against her. She's made an enemy, but who and why? Everyone seems so nice, so trustworthy. So normal. Except for one.

Lena's move to Mandalay Close was meant to be her fresh start after her break-up with her boyfriend. But as soon as she moves in, letters start arriving for her neighbours, saying they will reveal their deepest, darkest secrets. The only one not to get a letter is Lena. It appears everyone in Mandalay Close is hiding something.

I neither liked nor disliked Lena. She's spiteful and aggressive one minute, then the next she's kind and helpful, I couldn't quite work her out. The story is told from multiple points of view. The pace is fast in this twisted read.

Published 18th April.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #BoldwoodBooks and the author #JoanneRyan for my ARC of #DontLetHerIn in exchange for an honest review.

I love nosy neighbor books. This one has so many little offshoot details that I didn’t question in the slightest when they were originally presented, but the further you get in the plot the more you go back to think about how well thought out the twists were!

I read this in just a few days, and had a hard time putting it down. I like when the POV shifts between different characters and we get multiple versions of the events that take place so you get a nice clear picture of what actually happened.

Lena just moved to Mandalay Close for a fresh start after she finds out her long term boyfriend cheated on her. Soon after she moves in the neighbors start to receive anonymous letters exposing their darkest secrets but Lena didn't get one. Is everyone in Mandalay close nice and friendly or is someone out to get Lena. A gripping read that I read in one sitting found it hard to put down.

Omg! This book is brilliant. So many twists and turns. Very clever plot and characters. Joanne Ryan has a hit on her hands with this one.

I’m finding it hard to come up with an adequate review for this book.

Some parts I thoroughly enjoyed and I found myself hooked but in other parts I found it repetitive.

After her long-term boyfriend cheats on her and makes her move out of their home, Lena moves to Mandalay Close. She loves her little coach house, but the next door neighbors leave something to be desired. Oliver, the man who lives next door, is uptight and antagonistic. Meanwhile, Lena is struggling with complex feelings about her ex, and some tension with her best friend.

I enjoyed this book, though it wasn't at all what I expected--the letters that are the focus of the synopsis are more of a backdrop--they're mentioned a few times, but they're definitely not central to the story. It's also much slower-paced than I expected, with a lot of introspection throughout. Sometimes it felt like the introspection slowed things down a bit too much (especially at the beginning, there was a lot of exposition) but I really loved that there were multiple points of view--it added a freshness to the story, and helped me lean into that introspective aspect.

Overall, even though it wasn't what I expected and felt more like literary fiction than a thriller, I did enjoy Don't Let Her In and would probably read more from the author.

This book kept me up late at night wondering what was going to happen next! This was my first title from this author and already I’m looking into my next book from them. I cannot recommend this book more!

Lena and the letters arrived on the same day making all her new neighbors suspicious of her. The letters threaten to reveal everyone's secrets and Lena's back luck continues as her life spirals out of control. So twisty and hard to put down.

Ah! This one was so good. Someone is out to ruin Lena, but she has no idea who. This was such a fun and twisty thriller.

Firstly I would like to thank netgalley and Boldwood books, and the author Joanne Ryan for an early copy of her book to read.

This is my first book ive read from this author,Lena moved to Mandalay close, she lived with Gareth who cheated on her and they shared a home and they contributed equally to there home but it wasnt in her name, she moves into a coach house a smaller place.she get to know a couple of neighbours, one couple didnt seem to be very unpleasant..the neighbours recieve letters except Lena.why?there are secrets in there neighbourhood..this rating was close to five stars an easy read, for me wanted abit more of a twist near the ending.i would certainly like to read more of her books.

"Don't Let Her In" by Joanne Ryan presents an intriguing premise as Sarah grapples with the consequences of a mysterious woman's intrusion into her life. While the writing style keeps the reader engaged, the plot veers into clichéd territory, and the twist lacks surprise.

Despite its shortcomings, the book offers some entertainment value and moments of suspense, making it an okay read for those seeking a light thriller. Overall, it's a three-star book, delivering a decent but not exceptional reading experience.

Thank you, Netgalley!
