Typical Mills and Boon read. Enjoyable and easy read. Nice characters and fun to read how the story untold. If you like this genre, I would recommend.

A disappointing end to what had started as an intriguing encounter. I was immediately interested in the romance and found myself wanting to learn more of the characters and their history but unfortunately that was not to be!
The ending seemed rather rushed and certainly didn’t satisfy me. Shame!

A great romance that juggles a beautiful wedding, with a one night stand and a complicated past for both Ivo and Joan. Joan’s physical issues after surgery are dealt with sensitively and in good detail making me feel sympathetic towards her and her bravery at taking the next steps for her life, Ivo is also bruised and struggles emotionally with a romance and having someone to look after him and care for him. Whilst the ending isn’t a surprise, the journey to get there is quite lovely and well written.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I like this author a lot. Her books generally do not disappoint as she creates amazing characters who come to life and engage the reader’s interest as they go through their journey to a Happy ever after.

This was enjoyable but ther were a couple of things that puzzled me and dragged me out of the story.

Why was the heroine from Bermuda? I mean - of what relevance was the Bermuda aspect? We didn’t travel there, we didn’t really get any idea about what it meant to be Bermudan, live in Bermuda or be engrossed in the culture of the place. Joanne May as well have been Scottish for all the difference it made to her performance in the book.

I wanted to know how Ivo got on with Caleb. That story needed a resolution and we didn’t get one - just the promise of ‘perhaps.’ An epilogue would have helped.. but there was no epilogue. If ever a story needed an epilogue, it was this one. So many loose ends. I turned the page at the end and found an advert for another book. The denouement was abrupt and rushed.
