In Milo and the Golden Acorn, readers are transported into the enchanting world of Wonderland alongside a brave little mouse named Milo. What I loved most about this book is its timeless message about the importance of courage, friendship, and perseverance. As Milo starts on his quest to find the legendary Golden Acorn, he encounters challenges and learns valuable lessons that resonate long after the final page. The colorful illustrations and engaging storyline make this book a joy to read for children and adults alike, inspiring readers to embrace adventure and cherish the journey.
Milo is a mouse who lives in Wonderland. He likes to go on adventures. One day he decides to go in search for the golden acorn. On his way to the acorn tree he meets many new friends. Milo character is so cute and draws you into the book as does the other characters. This is a great follow your dreams story for younger children as it is short and would be a good bedtime story.
This book had a lot of potential, and the idea of a mouse setting off on an adventure is a really cute. The graphics are very colorful and the animals all seem friendly. The plot was lacking, for me. It seemed like a summary of a story instead of the story itself. The book says the mouse overcame obstacles and learned lessons, but does not say what obstacles, or how they were overcome, nor does it say what lessons were learned or give any details.
A short story with bright colours about Milo’s journey and the meaning of a journey. The sentiment is lovely and this is a quick read for little ones. There were rather a lot of words on each page for such a short book and my youngest was put off as milo appeared to only have one drawing of his head, and thus one fixed expression on each page.
