The last Bergman brother to find his happily ever after, Viggo, has always been chasing something. He's put his hand to hobby after hobby but never thrown himself all in until he decides to open his own bookshop. Viggo has always loved books, Romance novels in particular and after forcing them on his siblings during their love life problems, it's time to share it with the world.

But there's one thing missing from his life and that's love. He has been waiting for that instant spark of eyes meeting across a crowded room, or meeting someone and instantly knowing they're your missing puzzle piece. Viggo is so focused on this, he doesn't stop to realise that maybe it's always been there - it just takes living with Tallulah to realise that.

Tallulah is connected to the Bergman family through her sister Charlie, who is good friends with Viggo's sister Ziggy. But the first time they met was in their first year of university at their literature class. Tallulah was cold towards Viggo, but that just made him want to know him more because everyone loves him.

This book follows the same formula as the previous ones in the series but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It was nice to be amongst the family again as well as they all loved hard on one another as they always have. As with the previous books, the main characters have a diversity - Viggo has ADHD and anxiety, while Tallulah has type 1 diabetes and due to family trauma thinks herself incapable of love.

But they two of them work together and through healthy communication (something every lasting relationship needs), they're able to find their way through and realise that by working as a team they can make a relationship work.

Thanks to NetGalley and Random House UK, Cornerstone for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

I was so excited to read Viggo's book but I also didn't want to as it meant it was the end of the Bergman Brothers series. I've absolutely loved this series and, thankfully, I loved this book too.

Viggo and Tallulah are such a good couple. They're both learning to deal with their own personal issues, and they support each other in doing so. You can really see how they love and care for each other.

I loved the bookstore setting! As an avid romance reader, I really liked the concept of Viggo's store and it sounds like somewhere I would love to be! Seeing Lula begin to appreciate Viggo's love of the genre and his passion for his store was also sweet.

I do wish Lula had had some more on page character development. We're repeatedly told about her toxic family and the issues this has caused her, however, all of this and her processing of it takes place off page so it's difficult to see how it truly affects her.

Overall, I have loved this series and it was great to see all of the Bergman family again. I'm going to miss reading about them!

I really enjoyed Ziggy's book so was looking forward to reading this. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the same connection in this one and just couldn't get invested in it.

I’m going to preface this by saying that I don’t know if I was in the right headspace for it because there were scenes I think I normally would have been losing my mind over that were good but I didn’t love? And I will be trying to reread and would expect the rating to potentially change.
I did really like the character growth from them both as they opened themselves up to the love and support from the other. I enjoyed getting to know Viggo more and Tallulah was a great love interest for him.
I loved getting the closure for the series as a whole, with plenty of Bergman moments throughout, truly sad to see the end of this series but I can’t wait to see what Chloe does next.

This is book 7 out of the series however this is the first one I have read, I definitely enjoyed it even tho I hadnt read the rest of them.

Viggo is romance book loving main character and I was certainly here for it. Viggo has ADHD whilst Tallulah has type one diabetes. The author manages to talk about how these conditions effect people lives in such a brilliant way.

Tallulah and Viggo are so good together, so thoughtful of each other needs, moments where he supports her when her sugars are too low or she reminds him he needs to eat when his medics supresses his hungry  Tallulah works hard on letting not only Viggo but her family in and you can really tell that Viggo really supports her to break down those barriers.

This book was cute and definitely enjoyable, I can't wait to go back to read more of the series

Duo pov (my favourite)

Grumpy sunshine

Close proximity

Animal lover

Mental health/ medical conditions representation

I was kindly gifted this book but the views are all my own

I requested this without realising it was part of a series, it ended up being fine to read as a standalone but I liked it enough that I want to go back and read the ones before it. The story was cute and the MCs were both interesting and funny. There was quite a lot of smut by the end of the book which can sometimes take away from the story for me but it wasn’t too bad in this case. I’d definitely recommend to people that are into rom coms with spice

Viggo is a romance lover through and through. Tallulah is a sceptic who writes thrillers for a living. They make a deal, she’ll be his roomie and help with the launch of his new bookstore, and he will help with the romance subplot of her new novel.

This book has themes of opening up and showing vulnerability, even if it hurts in the process.

A mmc who bakes, crochets, adopts animals left, right and centre. Who reads and loves romance? Wears T-shirts with romance puns on? Is opening a romance dedicated bookstore with a focus on books with HEAs?? Do I need to list more reasons for a book lover to love Viggo? He’s the man of our dreams!!

Tallulah is definitely the epitome of a black cat, guarded from family trauma, and not believing she wants the HEA. Until she meets Viggo again, 7 years after their brief semester together at college, and realises she wants more from life.

If you’ve read all of the Bergman Brothers books you will love the cameos of characters from previous books. They’re just one big chaotic family. But it can also be appreciated as a stand-alone.

Not sure I am ready to say goodbye to the Bergmann family series - but here we are. Only and Forever centres around Viggo Bergmann, hopeless romantic and bookstore owner and Tallulah Clarke, a writer in desperate need of an apartment. Cue the forced proximity!! As always. Chloe Liese writes with such heart and honesty, you are immediately swept away in her story. What a wonderful way to round out the series. Thank you so much for this Arc. Can't wait to see what Chloe writes next.

I didn’t realise this was the last book in a series when I requested it, and I’m not sure if maybe that’s why I didn’t vibe with it, or if it’s actually the book! Also my first Chloe Liese.

I just didn’t have a great time reading this. I was honestly quite bored throughout and kind of dreaded picking it up. It’s not that it’s a bad book, I think objectively it’s fine, but it just wasn’t working for me.

I really didn’t feel for the characters. I thought Talullah was annoying because she was so mean and for what reason?! And I found Viggo to be a walking cheese fest tbh. I HATED his nickname for her (Talullahloo, honestly ICK) and some of the dialogue was so cringe (ahem, “you’re such a drama llama” ICK)

But ultimately the main pitfall for me was that I couldn’t actually feel any chemistry between them. They talked a lot about how attracted they were to each other and all these feelings, but it wasn’t actually shown. So I didn’t really feel anything between them.

Not a bad book, but not for me unfortunately.

This is the last book in the Bergman brother series and definitely my favourite! This has ADHD and diabetic representation for those interested.

It was so sweet and wholesome, Viggo and Tallulah had me in a chockehold since the beginning and I loved their honesty with each other. Their relationship is based on healthy communication, which makes their dynamic so human and lovely to read about.
It's golden retriever x black cat with her need to constantly please people. I related to hers much as she was so real and human.

The writing felt more mature and thought out in this one. Can't recommend it enough

I think I fell in love with Viggo reading this. He’s such a sweet, crafty man who’s cute when he’s nervous and loves animals. His insecurities tugged at my heart strings. Also, he’s a romance reader and I love it. The backstory between him and Tallulah was interesting and built up a delightful tension between these two right off the mark. I enjoyed watching them get to know each other, sharing their secrets and vulnerabilities, and becoming more intertwined in each others’ lives. They worked well together and the chemistry was off the charts, but their dialogue was also really well written and helped to create characters who felt real. We get to experience the chaotic Bergman family some more, and I adore the banter between them all and their affection for each other. There’s a good dose of humour in this book, as well as more serious topics and it’s a great balance. I enjoyed this book and I’m sad to say goodbye to Viggo and Talullah in all their grumpy (her) vs sunshine (him) glory!

I received a free copy of this book. All views are my own.

This is a brilliant book that sees the last of our Bergman brothers, Viggo get his own HEA. I have enjoyed the whole series of the books surrounding this family but look forward to reading whatever Chloe Liese writes next.
This book has all the charm and charisma we have come to love from the Bergman books whilst also exploring the impact of chronic illness and mental health in a realistic way.
Overall a lovely end to one of my favourite romance series!

Only and Forever is the final instalment of the much beloved Bergman brothers series.

Viggo, the youngest brother, is a kind and sensitive romantic setting up his brand new bookshop. Tallulah is a sharp, witty, no-nonsense thriller author who doesn’t believe in a happy ever after.

Watching Viggo and Tallulah slowly find their way towards each other was a truly enjoyable experience.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

Oh I feel so so bad for the rating and review imma give this book.

This series has held a special place in my heart for so many years. From ‘only when it’s us’ I was hooked. I think about some daily. Rated nearly all of them highly. But this book. The last book. Just didn’t work for me which is why I would have to give it a 2 star rating.

There were definitely moments I loved that were so cute and funny and sweet and hot and sad. Like there were good moments.

But overall I didn’t connect with either character. Viggo as a side character in his siblings books was great. Loved him. But as a main character he just didn’t do it for me. And his character just seemed so unrealistic to me. And tallulah too. I just didn’t vibe with it. This book fell so damn flat for me.

Also this book has a lot of diversity in some aspects but I wish it has some POCs as main love interests. I get the Bergman family are all white but they coulda had some POC love interests. This series woulda been even better if more of us could see ourselves in books. People who look like us. (I do have bad memory so do correct me if I’m wrong)

I have stopped myself from reading this book for so long because the idea of finishing this series was extremely painful to me. And yes, in a way, it really was. But it also felt very cathartic, seeing all these characters I have spent so much time with being genuinely happy.

Viggo was the one brother I'd been wanting to read from since the very first time I met him. I could tell there was something about him I'd adore, and I was right. He is so invested in other people's lives that his sometimes takes a seat in the back. He is so caring that he's scared of being too much. And he's spent so long trying to find his path that he's scared of what the outcome might be. This is all so relatable, and reading from his point of view was both painful and hopeful.

I loved seeing him grow in confidence with Tallulah, and I loved seeing her opening up to him. I'd always wondered who romantic Viggo would end up with, and black cat Tallulah makes so much sense. I love them together.

The final book in the Bergman series. Viggo’s book. I’ve really enjoyed this series and family. They’re so relatable and it’s a family filled with love.
Only and Forever is an opposite attracts romance. Viggo is a firm believer in love and Tallulah isn’t. It’s a slow burn like the previous books so I was ready. I liked the story primarily because of the Bergman family but also because of Viggo and Tallulah. The diabetes and ADHD rep were well executed and the author has done her work as usual. Their slow evolving friendship and into love was really good as was all the appearances from Viggo’s family members. The story ended the series on a high note.

This is an opposites attract romance with ADHD and Diabetes representation that doesn’t often get written about.
Viggo is such a cutie ( like serious golden retriever meets cinnamon roll energy) and I loved experiencing Talullah’s journey, it was written in a way that was so raw and complex. I adored both MCs together, they were so sweet and honest with one another - their relationship had me giddy and I couldn’t stop reading. Overall, this is a great way to end a great series and I think I’ve found my new favourite quote…

‘I think love is . . . wrapping your arms around every emotion, even the hard ones, even when being numb seems so much safer. Love is hoping, even after disappointment has taught you not to. Love is that bone-deep hum of peace through your body when you’re hugged hard, when you’re listened to well, when you’re not left alone in your sadness. Love is stubborn and persistent, an indomitable weed that springs up in those slivers of soft soil in our concrete-jungle existence.’

Viggo Bergman has been the brother who's HEA I have been most looking forward to. Oh did Viggo and Tallulah live up to my excitement for this book. Viggo is an avid Romance reader who wants to open his own romance bookstore and Tallulah is an author struggling to finish her next book. Chloe Liese, your writing is amazing and never fails to make me fall in love with the characters and story. I haven't read a book of yours yet where I haven't cried. The opposites attract and grumpy/sunshine vibes were really giving. I have always loved how much Viggo loves Romance books and is always authentic. As always Chloe is sensitive with the mental health and physical health representation throughout all her books, in this case ADHD and diabetes. Reading books, I love workplace romance and after reading this, this has not changed one bit. I highly recommend reading the whole Bergman brothers series, I love all the books so so so much!!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Chloe Liese for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Chloe never. ever. fails
I’m so sad to be saying goodbye to one of my favourite book families ever but I can say I’m so grateful to have been a reader along for the ride. the final book in the series follows our beloved viggo and talulah who are the epitome of opposites attract and the reverse black cat x holden retriever duo who move in together and become parents of a lot of glorious animals because neither of them can resist. their love story is so cute and special and i’m overwhelmed just writing this because now it’s ended. Chloe never fails to go in headfirst when depicting individual differences within characters and it’s why she’s my go to author. everything is handled graciously and it always betters the stores and is never in there just for the sake of it.

Thanks so much to Chloe Liese, Cornerstone and NetGalley for the eARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

What an end to the series, I absolutely adore this collection and this book is no different. Liese manages to create perfectly imperfect characters, and I love how tender and sweet Viggo is, as well as his admiration for Tallulah. The way their relationship gradually transitions to more is so heartwarming and well paced and the entire Bergman family (which has now doubled in size) makes my heart burst.

I truly don't want this series to end. Liese masterfully weaves a tale of love, being worthy of love and how it transcends everything. She skilfully brings to light the daily struggles with those living with ADHD and type 1 diabetes, I love the way the two characters support each other and seeing the book unravel was fantastic.

I can't recommend this book enough.
