This 13th installment in the Number Two Feline Detective Agency series is top notch. I think this is the best one yet. Detectives Hettie and Tilly are thrust into the goings on at Mr. Whiskers Academy for Wayward Cats. What starts out as chaos ends up in a good way for homeless mothers and their kittens. Mandy Morton has created a wonderful world of anthropomorphized cats in this series. The author uses subtle humor throughout the story. Examples are the names of some of the students and the Puffin Club. Thanks for letting me read this ARC of an entertaining cozy mystery in the world of cats.

I jump at the chance to read anything and everything that is an any way related to cats, but this book was just way too odd for me to be able to finish. The writing was strange to me and I kept on picturing cat heads on human bodies, y’know, like his on Between the Lions there were dogs with human hands? Not for me.
