Casey Hughes has been struggling since the death of her grandmother... which might be the reason why she volunteered herself for an impossible task. Get an interview with the untouchable Phillip Woodmont? Why not... after all, they did once know each other...
Phillip Woodmont has done the impossible in creating a sustainable cruise ship. So, for Aurelia's maiden voyage, he has invited every magazine journalist and social media influencer he could find... but he never expected his teenage nemesis to also be on the passenger list...

Caribbean Crush was a super sexy, enemies to lovers, romantic vacation read! Casey has landed an assignment that could launch her career... that is, as long as she nails an interview with the aloof ship designer, Phillip Woodmont. But when Phillip holds their teenage past against her, Casey worries her journalistic career will be over before she knows it...
Casey has found her life at a crossroads, and when the opportunity comes up for the career boost of a lifetime, she can't help but make a promise to get an interview that may be next to impossible to attain. And when she and Phillip come face to face after all these years, she realizes that interview is definitely NOT going to happen...
Phillip has one focus during the maiden voyage of his sustainable, luxury, cruise ship... and Casey Hughes is definitely not it. Phillip didn't become the success that he is from dwelling on the past, but he has undoubtably learned his lesson in dealing with Casey... or has he?
Not only was this book a scorching hot read, but it also featured a new found female friendship that Casey truly deserved to have in her life. I loved the dynamic between Casey and Phillip, from their antagonistic interactions, to their impossible-to-ignore, chemistry. And when they embark on a romantic relationship, the rules that they vow to follow may prove to be the hardest thing either of them has ever seen through. After all, a vacation fling is always supposed to have an expiration date... right?
I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.
I loved everything about this book! RS Grey never lets me down with a good enemies to lovers. The banter, the spice and the swoon worthy hero! I completely devoured this book.
I love reading books, especially fiction about cruising and cruise ships and I fell in love with this book within the first chapter. It was well planned. Great story, fun read and it was just something to get behind and laugh
This was a great book. I connected with the characters. I felt engrossed with the plot. I would read another book by this author.
Caribbean Crush is another of the delightful stories that always always ALWAYS comes from R.S. Grey. This author always brings the laughter, sometimes the tears, and lots of feels.
Casey and Phillip have history. Not a meet cute kind of history. A bad one that makes her dread approaching him, but she will do it because she wants out of her dead-end job, and he is the key. If he sees her, he is determined to make her squirm, because that’s what she deserves. But- a cruise ship is a huge place and he is sort of in charge, so avoiding her should be easy. Wrong!
Truth- I kind of dreaded starting this because I was afraid it was going to be another “high school person did me wrong and I can’t let it go even though I’m a mature adult and many years have passed” kind of story that leaves me rolling my eyes. Good news, readers! It is not that sort of story at all! Grey does not let us down and this book does not disappoint! I love the ending, but I can’t tell you, reader. Spoilers!
Casey Hughes has talked her way into a tropical cruise vacation instead of her desk job as a fact checker of a travel magazine, claiming she can get an exclusive interview with the notoriously private CEO Phillip Woodmont. She didn't expect him to still be holding a teenage grudge against her, or to be too handsome for her own good...
This book is the perfect beach read! A sweet, funny, and hot romance for when you need a little vacation from the real world. Best enjoyed with a fruity cocktail or a tall glass of extra sugary iced tea.
I really enjoyed reading Caribbean Crush. I loved everything about it. Sorry I can’t type more, I’ve been in the hospital the last couple weeks.
A fun, sweet romance that is totally an escape from life. See cruising life as you never have seen it (and yah for the environmentally friendly message to the cruising industry.). I loved the initial enemies to lover set up and wish that there was more of a resolution to that before they became very hot and heavy. As a huge fan of this author's, this was definitely a surprise in that it was one of her more steamy ones. Lots of banter, a fantastic friendship (love Sienna) and a cast of characters to set up an interesting world, I really liked this story. I do think the romance and end was a little rushed but overall, I enjoyed this romance.
This fun and flirty read is the perfect way to start off summer!
Casey’s life is at a low point personally and professionally. She’s treading water trying to pay bills, grieve her grandma, and climb a ladder (that seemingly has no rungs) at her job. When an amazing job opportunity to travel on a fancy new cruise ship and interview with her long lost middle school crush Phillip (who designed it!) arises, Casey jumps in with both feet… but can she keep her heart from falling overboard?! That’s the real story.
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to receive this book for an honest review.
What a fun read and I am one always going on cruises so I can relate.
Great summer read.
Caribbean Crush was such a fun read with such a gorgeous tropical backdrop that I almost felt like I was on a vacation too—almost😊.
In an enemies-to-lovers trope, the main characters Casey and Phillip, when thrust back together again, need to get beyond their history together. The witty banter between them was so fun!
This was the first book I have read by R.S. Grey and I enjoyed it so much I have since gone on and read a couple more I really liked as well. A new must read author for me.
This would be a great beach read!
Thanks to NetGalley for the digital ARC.
As an avid cruiser myself, this book IMMEDIATELY intrigued me and I had to read it. So glad I received an ARC from NetGalley!
In the book you get a finding-herself FMC and a private-broody-wealthy MMC who is spicy behind closed doors!! They have a bit of history from their adolescence and I wish that played a bit more in the full story, but was a cute way to connect them with history in the beginning and brought the angst at the beginning of their encounters.
After other interactions, there’s spice, tenderness, banter, internal dialogue that’ll crack you up, moments for personal reflection, and overall just good book that leaves you smiling! Lovable side characters, great destinations, and a cruise of a lifetime - what more could you ask for! I loved it!
This is a great summertime read, perfect for sitting poolside and imagining you're on a yacht in the Caribbean. Rachel did a great job describing the scenery and places they travel to, I really did feel like I was there as well which was really fun. Casey was hilarious, I loved her inner monologues. It was harder for me to warm up to Phillip. The pacing seemed a little off, one minute he was being brutally honest and downright mean to her and the next they're together and then it seemed a little too insta-lovey. I LOVED the friendship between Casey and Sienna. Give me her story please!!
Casey goes on a maiden voyage cruise ship to try and boost her flailing travel journalist career. Only problem is she needs to get an interview with the owner but they have previous form
A cute and fun read.
This book drew me in from the beginning.
Wonderful characters and I loved the idea of going on a cruise.
The way this author describes everything I felt like I was actually there.
I hate to admit it but Philip was my favorite character because he kept things interesting and kept Casey in her toes!
I loved in getting to know them both and sometimes they even made me laugh
I hated to see this boot end.
It was a great maiden voyage!
5 stars for a well written story. I highly recommend!
My thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
This sweet and spicy romcom was just what I needed to sit by the ocean all day. I was laughing in one moment and blushing the next.
So so good! I loved the romance and characters and the cruise aspect. The travel was great. The romance was fire and I loved every second. Quick fun and easy read for the summer or for me the winter when I’m down. Loved this book
After reading blushing in the big leagues, and three strikes youre mine, I was really excited to read this book by the same author. However, it just did not hit like the others! The way the two characters originally got together was super weird and didn’t fit with the rest of the story. Good overall fluffy romance and I liked the enemies to lovers trope, but just not a huge fan of the entire book.

*Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest review*
This was honestly delightful.
Caribbean Crush follows Casey and Phillip who have a shared high school history that ended on less than stellar terms. Now, years later, they meet again on the ship Phillip helped design as it takes its maiden voyage around the Caribbean with a bunch of journalists and travel bloggers on board - Casey being one of them.
What transpires is a sexy, romantic story about two people who don’t want to fall in love, greatly deny to themselves and each other that it’s happening, but fall hard nonetheless. Against the backdrop of the Caribbean islands this was a lighthearted beach read that scratches the itch and will leave you with a smile.
I liked Casey - even if she got a bit frustrating in her denial at times. I liked how she stood up for herself and I really loved the friendship between her and Sienna - strong female friendships often fall by the wayside in romances and it’s nice to see that wasn’t the case here.
Phillip was just adorable, too. It was fun to see him slowly go from detesting Casey to being obsessed with her and having to realise he’d been playing his life too straight before.
Was it a perfect read? No. Did I have a good time? Yes.
Enemies to Lovers lite, vacation romance.
This was such a fun and cute book! I love cruises they are the perfect vacation ever. A vacation fling to relationship stories are my favorite. I loved Phillip and Casey. I also liked Casey’s friend that she met on the cruise, Sienna. I am glad Casey ended up quitting her job after 6 years when it wasn’t going anywhere. The book was a little slow to start but it got better as I kept reading. It was my first RS grey book so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was great! Now I am ready for a vacation! Thank you so much for the ARC.
