One night no strings .. until you go to work and find out he’s your boss 😳 This was a cute instalove story. It’s a quick light hearted read with spice.

It was my first time reading anything from this author and I can guarantee for sure it won’t be my last book from her! This is the first book of a soon to be billionaire series.
I love a really good billionaire romance, and this one is just right! I loved the characters and I love even more a good alpha male!!
This is a really safe romance.

Billionaire Boss by Julie Capulet is a sizzling and addictive romance that combines steamy chemistry with workplace drama. After a whirlwind, passionate one-night stand in Hawaii, the last thing ambitious career woman Mia expects is to find out that the mysterious, blue-eyed man from her fantasy is her new boss in New York City. Their undeniable attraction quickly turns into a high-stakes game of office power dynamics and hidden desires. With its mix of witty banter, sizzling tension, and a swoon-worthy alpha hero, Capulet delivers an engaging, fun read for fans of forbidden romance and workplace entanglements.

In "Billionaire Boss," author Julie Capulet weaves a compelling narrative about unexpected encounters and the complexities of modern relationships. The story unfolds against the backdrop of a picturesque beach, where the protagonist experiences a whirlwind romance with a captivating stranger. This initial encounter serves as a catalyst for a deeper exploration of desire, ambition, and the unforeseen connections that can reshape one’s life. The novel begins with a vivid description of a tropical paradise characterized by sandy shores, swaying palm trees, and crystal-clear waters—elements that evoke a sense of escapism. The idyllic setting sets the stage for the protagonist's chance meeting with a striking man in a business suit, whose “rough-around-the-edges swagger” and “filthy mouth” add an intriguing layer to his character. This contrast between his polished exterior and gritty demeanor speaks to the theme of duality present in many individuals, particularly those navigating the high-stakes world of business and personal relationships. As the two characters laugh and share a night filled with “crazy passion,” the protagonist discovers the exhilarating sensation of dreams materializing before her eyes. This pivotal moment is not just about physical attraction; it signifies a temporary departure from her routine life and the constraints of societal expectations. The experience resonates deeply, revealing the protagonist's longing for freedom and adventure, qualities that become essential as she seeks to forge her path in a bustling metropolis like New York City. However, the narrative takes a turn when the protagonist realizes that her romantic escapade was not merely a fleeting encounter. Two months later, as she embarks on her professional journey in New York, she is confronted by the reality that her new boss is none other than the enigmatic stranger from the beach. This twist heightens the tension and excitement, showcasing how life can often interweave personal and professional realms in unexpected ways. The dynamic between the protagonist and her boss evolves as they recognize their shared history. His revelation that he has been searching for her adds a layer of depth to their connection, suggesting that their brief encounter left a lasting impression. The allure of the "dirty talking swagger" juxtaposed with the dedicated ambitions of both characters underscores the complexities of modern relationships, where passion and professionalism coexist. Ultimately, "Billionaire Boss" encapsulates the essence of serendipity and self-discovery. The protagonist's journey from a romantic fantasy on the beach to navigating the intricate dance of workplace dynamics and lingering desire highlights the unpredictability of life. Capulet skillfully illustrates how a single night can alter the trajectory of one's existence, leading to newfound aspirations and unresolved emotions. In conclusion, "Billionaire Boss" is a testament to the power of unexpected encounters and the intricate web of human relationships. Through the protagonist's experiences, readers are invited to reflect on their desires, career aspirations, and the ways in which love can manifest in the most unforeseen circumstances. Capulet's narrative serves as a reminder that life is full of surprises, and sometimes, the path to fulfillment is paved with encounters that challenge our perceptions and ignite our passions.

Billionaire Boss by Julie Capulet
New York Billionaires #2
What an entertaining story this was! I remember my first trip to Hawaii, the beaches, and the flirting…I wonder what it would have been like if I had been in my twenties instead of sixteen and I had met someone like Cash Maddox ;)
What I liked:
* Dusty Rose: intelligent, diligent, hard worker, has big plans, manifesting her dreams, supportive, loving sister and daughter, good friend, abandonment and trust issues, liked and could relate to her
* Cash Maddox: one of four brothers, billionaire and CEO of creative investment company with gaming component - Invested Enterprises, knows what he wants immediately when he sees Dusty, really liked him – wonderful alpha book boyfriend that is definitely swoon-worthy
* The meet-cute on the beach and follow up…fanning myself
* The instant connection between Dusty – Tex and Cash – Ace ~ Love at first sight for at least one of them
* That it took me back to some of my firsts…first time to Hawaii…and a few others
* That I was able to fall into the story, like both characters, see them happy together, and kind of saw myself as Dusty…even at my age of 72 ;)
* The plot, pacing, setting, and meeting a new author that I truly enjoyed reading
* That there is another book in the series to look forward to in the future
* All of it except…
What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* Having to wait for the next book in the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars

This was an enjoyable story with plenty of steam. I love how Cash unapologetically pursued Dusty and was upfront with his feelings. Dusty was ambitious, knew exactly what she wanted from her career, and was not going to let anything stop her. The book could have been a lot shorter and dragged in a lot of places. There were pages of internal dialog that added nothing to the story and became repetitive after a while, and Dusty's flipflopping became a little tedious. There are no surprises and you know exactly how the story is going to end, but it's a fun uncomplicated read with a satisfying ending.

Insta-love at its finest! We love a determined-alpha male billionaire and a similarly career determined heroine! What started as a one night together turned into much more very quickly and passionately!
Dusty’s attending a work conference, innocent enough, and then meets Ace who flips her world upside down. Ace is in a pickle at work but goes to Hawaii for a work meeting where he meets the girl of his dreams and everything changes for him.
Over the course of the next few months, passion, insecurities, work, and life get in the way of their happiness, but broody billionaire is determined to make Dusty his and he does.
The spice was spicy!! And the love and feelings were true and heart-felt! Great book I loved it! Now where do I find me a Cash Maddox??

please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
POV: dual 1st person POV
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: parental abandonment, death of a parent (recounted), sexism, blackmail, (very light) stalking… but in a cute way? haha
standalone: book 1 in the New York Billionaires series (interconnected standalones)
final thoughts: this fastburn, instalove quick read was exactly what I needed! Dusty met Maddox at a bar while at a work event and agreed to 1 night of passion with rules: no names, no strings, no telling him she was a virgin. After the perfect night, Dusty slipped out of the hotel room leaving no trace of who she was … only to show up at her new job to be introduced to the company’s CEO- Maddox.
I loved both MMCs and especially LOVED how obsessed the MMC is with the FMC 😍🥰
THIS IS WHY ALL ROMANCES SHOULD BE 1ST PERSON DUAL POV 👏👏 thank you Julie Capulet for letting us in the mind of a ferociously lovesick Maddox
The epilogue- and bonus epilogue- were so good and exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

If you’re looking for a short, insta love, he’s a billionaire who falls first, with plenty of ‘sexy times’ and ends with an HEA ending, then this book is for you.
Dusty is on a retreat for work (Hawaii) and she meets Cash. They don't exchange names. Only knows each other as Ace and Tex. They fall in to bed and have alot of sexy time. Only Dusty doesn't tell him she is a virgin. He tries to find her when he gets home but no luck. Untill she is standing in his office as a new hire. She tries to keep him at an arms lenght. She has goals and is not sure a relationship with the boss will help with that.
He is a strong/arrogant CEO type, with soft side for Dusty only. He falls first and refuses to let her go again. He is not a total ass or a playboy which was nice. It is a "do anything to get the girl" story. A cheesy insta love story. A fast-paced book. I loved their nicknames for one another, Ace and Tex. Love the banter and teasing from his brothers.

Billionaire Boss by Julie Capulet
Rating: 4/5
Tropes: Billionaire, workplace romance, secret identity, insta love.
A chance encounter leads to a steamy one-night stand. They try their best to keep it cool, but with the amount of steaminess, it’s hard to keep it casual.
This book was a great read with a healthy dose of spice. A little cheesy at times, but it’s all good. Overall, the characters were developed well and the story was an easy read.
Now to just find a billionaire of my own…
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Julie Capulet for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Dusty Rose is a recent grad working as a financial analyst in Austin until she can get her dream location in NYC. She works hard and hopes to be able to provide for her sister and single mother. She goes to Hawaii for a work conference and meets Cash Maddox who is one of four brothers who are billionaires moguls in the financial industry. Knowing it’s just one evening while in Hawaii they do not share any details about themselves including their names, instead going by Tex and Ace, their nicknames for each other. It’s one hot and steamy evening, and they later both regret not sharing details, as they cannot stop thinking about each other.
Dusty finally gets her dream job in NYC and walks into the CEOs office for orientation and meets her Ace.
“Your life is never the same again after you catch a wave. It changes everything: your Karma, the way you manifest the rest of your future, your entire path….First Ace and now this [new dream job].
This story is heavy on the tropes, with insta-love, office romance, billionaire boss, with high spicy scenes.
I love all the other tropes except insta-love, it’s usually so unrealistic. In 4 days, she’s fallen in love? Seriously! And him buying off her loan, her mother’s mortgage, sister’s job felt like “Pretty Woman” on steroids. While I understand it was to show his alpha tendencies with billionaire bank account, it was too much for someone he literally just met and had one night with. I overall still enjoyed the book.
3-3.5 out of 5, It’s a quick read, light on the character development and more focused on the spicy scenes.

This was my first Julie Capulet read and I’m so glad I took a chance on a new to me author. I could not put this book down. I read it in one day with a few hours of sleep sacrificed but so worth it!
This was my first experience with instalove, ALL IN!! Cash and Dusty’s chemistry was undeniable and unavoidable. They each struggled with a past experience that molded who they are today. Cash and Dusty are both driven in business and will stop at nothing to make their career dreams happen. Cash carries that drive over to their relationship and his never give up attitude wins Dusty over in the end. She is able to work through her past experience and understand what she wants is both possible and real.
I also enjoyed the side characters. Dusty’s relationship with her mom and sister shows you how truly strong and caring she is. Dusty’s best friend, along with Cash, helps push her past her comfort zone and reach for things she normally wouldn’t. Cash’s relationship with his brothers shows the bond and support they have for each other. I look forward to the next three Maddox brother books!

In "Billionaire Boss" by Julie Capulet, get ready for a sizzling romance that starts with a chance encounter in Hawaii and heats up from there!
When the protagonist's steamy one-night stand turns out to be her new boss, sparks fly in the office. As they navigate the complexities of their professional relationship, they find themselves falling for each other against all odds. With passion, drama, and plenty of workplace tension, this book is great entertainment.
The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and the tension between their professional and personal lives adds an exciting layer to the story. Thank you to The Author Kimberly Kincaid & NetGalley for an advanced reader copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review.

This book gave me all the feels! The spice was exceptionally appropriate and the love story was beautiful! Absolutely loved this book!

not a bad story. A little too much sex talk for me and Ace was very extreme. Hard to believe Dusty was only 23.

New to me author Julie Capulet's Billionaire Boss caught my attention as I viewed the cover.I received an advance copy from the publisher. The storyline moved so fast which made it seem unrealistic to me. Lots of steamy sex scenes, but I felt there wasn't enough substance to base the relationship of Cash and Dusty.. If you are just looking for a book crammed with sex scenes this would be perfect for you! I did like the tiny bit of the relationship we saw of Cash and his brothers. Also, the other bit that soured me on this book was the name Dusty Rose. I kept picturing an ugly bridesmaid's dress. It was a quick read so that is a plus.
I do thank the publisher and I am volunteering my opinion.

What a fun whirlwind instalove for these two no-nonsense business types. Talk about a spur of the moment decision gone right!
Hawaii giving all the tropical dream vibes, New York letting us know this company means business, a takedown her honesty helps them confront and overcome.
All of this with sassy banter, cute nicknames and scorching chemistry.

This is a quick light hearted read. It follows alot of the typical story lines, they meet on holiday can't stop thinking about each other, then bam he's her new boss. It then becomes a fast paced insta love.
This is a new to me author and I'm not 100% I'll be quick to read their releases as and when they come out.
I think if there was a lot more world and character building it may have been better but as I said its a light hearted read and is really about the insta love from the characters and their holiday lover.

A perfect read for a lazy afternoon. Dusty Rose (I love that name) wants one thing: to land her perfect job in New York. But first she has to climb the ladder to get there. And that can happen sooner than expected. This book was just what I needed, lighthearted with a touch of suspense and of course, that happy ever after. As a new reader of Julie Capulet, she did not disappoint and cannot wait to read her other books.
