Adam and Stella's European tour comes to an abrupt end when Adam is killed in an explosion at a cafe in Paris. Although Stella initially thinks it is a random event, it turns out that Adam may have been deliberately targeted.

The question is, who would do such a thing? And why? And even as Stella is pondering these questions, and the fact that her husband may have been keeping vital secrets from her, she realises that - given the nature of Adam's secrets - she may now find herself in the assassins crosshairs as the next target...

Kimberly Belle is always entertaining, and this story is no exception. Fast-paced and full of unexpected turns, it holds the reader's attention very effectively. Cleverly plotted and efficiently delivered, it gets 3.5 stars.
