A very scary thought to think you’re being stalked. This was well put together with a good twist, the pages kept turning!
An interesting premise for a book and I enjoyed the narration on this one. I enjoyed the author giving us an insight to wear and how the story came to her. It was written well and I changed my mind so many times and was still shocked by the conclusion I was completely invested and loved all the twists and turns.
This was an easy listen, I liked the narrator, its a modern day story about people being stalked and the fear they feel. The characters come together to support each other through difficulties of not knowing if someone who is obsessed with you is going to kill you! I found it a teeny bit drawn out but the beginning and the end made up for it.
I’ve always been a big fan of CL Taylor’s books so I always look forward to a new release by her, and Every Move You Make is another fast-paced thriller that’s easy to enjoy with strong, memorable characters, which always make her books very readable.
I appreciated the author sharing her own experience of stalking in her Author’s Notes, and you can tell she has a lot of insight to share as Every Move You Make explores many different levels of stalking and describes the sense of terror it can instil very well. Her characters, therefore, feel very authentic, and I found it really interesting to see the different kinds of reactions from each of their perspectives.
The story kept me guessing and engaged throughout and I found this to be a very enjoyable and thought-provoking read. I can’t wait for the next one!
This is an intense psychological thriller. It is so unrealistic but the idea of 5 friends, one of whom is murdered early on in the book, being pursued, is a good one for a gripping tale. I was somewhat fed up with them all after a while but can see why CL Taylor has used this as an idea to create a set up for a thriller.
Found this audio book very difficult to follow as everyone seemed to have a stalker
Not my kind of book at all I lost interest
Reeeeeeeally enjoyed this so much, am a mega fan of Cl Taylor in any case and was looking forward to this read. Didn’t disappoint, absolutely smashed it, will do a longer review for instagram, but I adored it :)
have read a few books by C.L. Taylor and have mostly enjoyed them and would say that I am a bit of a fan and this, her latest, didn't disappoint. I quickly became engrossed in the stories of the main characters and I was totally drawn in until the end.
With really interesting characters, a gripping story line and absolutely excellent narration, this is a book that had me gripped so much so, I found myself wanting to get stuck in traffic just so I could listen for a bit longer!
I would definitely recommend this to lovers of psychological thrillers and would definitely recommend this as an audiobook, the narrator was absolutely brilliant and really brought the characters to life and captured their tension, fear and desperation.
Thank you must go to the author, HarperCollins UK Audio, Avon and NetGalley for enabling me to listen to and share my thoughts of this riveting book.

Because the only way to stop a stalker is to become one yourself…
My Opinion
This was a gripping audiobook but I did feel the need to take my time. This was a great psychological thriller. Five people are being stalked and there is a countdown to a murder - they all just want to survive. This is an intense read and not one to be entered into without a warning.
Rating 4/5
This book is from multiple point of views, from 4 characters who are part of a group for support of those with stalkers.
It did get a little confusing trying to remember details like who was being stalked by who, and who was to help track each others stalker. Other than that it did keep you on suspense with the count down to when someone was going to die.
You do feel the characters on edge and concern and is well written but then when you get to the end and listen to the authors note it shows why. And its certainly important to read/listen to, and not skip it as it gives a bit of contect and understanding on why this book and why this story.
I have read everything by C. L. Taylor - definitely one of my ‘go to’ authors in this genre. Narrated by one of my favourite narrators too. An enjoyable listen - fairly fast paced with some interesting characters and twists. Recommended to all who enjoy the genre and/or the author. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers.
This author is one of my go to authors and I know that I will 'enjoy' everything that she has written. This one is really intense and kept me captivated, it kept me up late at night as I had to finish. All the little threads were cleared up but as always there is a surprise. The author's endword was moving and explained why this theme was so important.
The narration really worked and suited the story
What a brilliant audiobook, narrated by the legendary Clare Corbett.
I listened to this one over 2 days- that's how gripping it was. This morning, I couldn't wait to get my jigsaw out and finish the book, as I knew I had about 90 minutes left.
Clare Corbett does a wonderful job at portraying the tension and desperation felt by the victims of stalking.
This was one of Taylor's best, perhaps even my favourite so far. There are quite a few characters though, and I wonder if reading the ebook would have helped me follow them a little better. The ending has quite a lot to tie up, and needed some concentration on my part!
A gripping novel from start to finish. There are many characters, so sometimes it was a little difficult to keep track, but ultimately, it didn't matter. Cally Taylor always delivers a roller coaster of a plot. Does it get a little bit far-fetched sometimes? Yes, because it's fiction! The role of fiction is to get you to engage with a story. Having been the target of a serial stalker (briefly thankfully) and having a friend who endured nearly a decade of being stalked by an ex, the weird thing we agreed on is the mundaneness of it all. It's really bloody scary at times, but a real grind as well. A good novel isn't made from this. So writers put on the fast forward, get extreme quickly. We engage with the subject. If you want reality, read non-fiction. This is a bloody good story. End of.
Anyway, now I've got that off my chest to the narrator. Well, it's Clare Corbett. Enough said, I think. She could read a phone book (do they still exist), and I'd be gripped.
I'll admit I'm quite easy to please, but I recently have fallen out of love with reading. This may have just sparked the flame again.
A superb twisty thriller in which C L Taylor handles very well. Full of good characters. Keeps you guessing till the end , though you might change your mind a few times. Clare Corbett is an excellent narrator you always know which character is speaking. Thanks to HarperCollins audio and Netgalley for this review copy.
If it was possible to inhale an audiobook then that’s what I did, I could not stop listening to this once I started. As a busy mum it’s hard to make time for that but believe me I did!
The story is full of twists and turns and while I thought I had it figured from pretty early on there was one last twist that surprised me, which I love! It’s a gripping story that will hook you from start to finish and I couldn’t recommend it more. I can’t wait to read more from this author and listen to more with this narrator.
4.5 stars
Trigger warning for stalking. This was a fun popcorn thriller!🍿 That seems weird to say when this book is about five people bonding together to fight back against their stalkers. There’s a deadline for death and our gang is racing against the clock to discover whose stalker’s plan is in motion. It was fast-paced from start to finish. There were some great twists and turns along the way. The narration was excellent! Block out the day and read/listen to Every Move You Make in one sitting, if you can!
*Thanks to HarperCollins and NetGalley for the audiobook copy for review.
C L Taylor is truly at the top of her game. Each book, in my view, is different to and better than the last and this one covers totally new ground. A group of five have a stalker; one of them is murdered and at her funeral, there’s a chilling message to say there’s more to come. I’ve never experienced being stalked and the thought fills me with terror. Taylor manages to capture that sense of unease and mounting fear as the countdown to the next murder begins. The ordinary becomes extraordinary and everything is enhanced and magnified when filled with suspicion.
The plotting is carefully crafted with surprises and twists along the way and a blistering end. I think this is her best yet. When I requested the audio version, I didn’t realise I’d previously read the book. That said, I found the audio experience truly chilling. The narrator is exceptional. I was listening at night and I had to switch off because the sense of fear became too real! I found it unsettling when needing to sleep, which shows the power of the writing. Brilliant and I finished the rest in daylight!
This was a fast paced, engaging listen that got my attention from the get-go. There are a few characters to get to grips with but a couple of chapters in and your good to go. It moved at a steady pace and had a well developed storyline and characters along with them being both likeable and unlikeable. Claire Corbett always does an exceptional job of narrating and she’s one of my favourite narrators. This is a good listen that you won’t even feel the time going.
Thanks to Netgalley and Harper Collins UK Audio for the opportunity to listen to and review #EveryMoveYouMake
What a gripping book! Loved this one, couldn't put it down. I liked the characters and the ending was dramatic and entertaining. I would read more from this author.
