Thank you Netgalley, Eve Kellman and Hapercollins audio for the audio Arc of How to Kill a Guy in Ten Ways.
Narrated by Elisabeth Hopper
This narrative drew me in and gripped me from the start and probably touches on some very sensitive issues. Millie Masters works in a framing store, runs and at night, runs a helpline called Message M. This helpline helps saves countless young women and girls who feel uncomfortable when they are out and need an exit strategy . On date? getting touched ? No problem, Message M.
As the narrative unfolds, it's clear that Millie set up this helpline to help other girls because, she couldn't save her sister. Who experiences a life changing event that leaves her bedridden, Millie tries to get to the bottom of what happened, her sister would rather forget. Millie starts to take matters into her own hands and snowballs.
I loved this book, it had everything In it. Dark humour, issues surrounding women's safety, stalking and friendship. I love the twists and turns in the storyline and I felt that the pacing of the narrative was great. I couldn't stop reading as it kept me engaged and I wanted to know how far Millie would go to seek revenge on her sister, Katie's assailant.. I loved Nina, Millie's friend, who figured things out and stayed by her to the bitter end .This would make a great audiobook in my opinion so I'll be looking out for that in the future,
Elisabeth Hopper has a great voice that suits the pace of this book and will definitely listen to books that's narrated by her.

**Listened to the audiobook**
I initially I really was enjoying this book! It reminded me of the 'Sweet Pea' books - I liked how tough and no nonsense the main protagonist or should I say 'anti-hero' -M is. However, the more the book went on, the more it felt like other books I had read - and I started to loose interest.
The narrator was excellent and was the perfect match for Kellman's writing.
Overall this was an OK read/listen - but it isn't one that will stay with me, as I say, it was just too similar to other books I have read. However, would be interested in what Eve Kellman does next!

A very dark, but hilarious thriller, full of sharp quips. Sounds weird, right? This is ultimately a book where many men are murdered, but Eve Kellman has created a masterpiece in how to get away with it and somewhat justify the actions of the main protagonist, Millie, as she exacts revenge, primarily on behalf of her sister, but ultimately, for any woman who has been abused by a man.
Millie didn't actually plan to kill anyone, but things kind of spiralled out of control and when her vigilante activities stepped up a gear, one murder seemed to lead to another and the humour and sass just make murderous Millie so likeable, it's easy to forget that she's a killer!
I'll be honest, there was a point where I started to get a little bored, but then the action ramped right up again and the run to the end was just brilliant!
I listened to the audiobook, which was really well narrated by Elisabeth Hopper.
5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Eve Kellman and Harper Collins for an ARC in return for an honest review.

Millie Masters works in a picture framing shop during the day, but when the sun goes down, she looks out for women who feel too scared to get themselves home and contact her Message M hotline. Millie set this up after her sister was attacked and she felt like she needed to do more to protect other women. She also thought it would be a great opportunity to try and find the mam who has reduced her sister to a shell of herself.
This book covers several serious topics - rape, sexual assault, drugging of women - but manages to still be darkly funny in places. Recommended for any fans of How To Kill Men And Get Away With It and other similar books.

This was a great read, full of murder and protecting woman.
Millie is mad at men, her sister was raped and she sets up a call line to assist woman who are in trouble with men harassing them. It’s been working well, until she does her first murder. She can’t stop now. She’s a great character and perfect for the role. It’s engrossing, dark twisty read.
I listened to the audio book and can’t fault the narrator, she read the story very well and kept me engaged in the story. She was clear and prompted each chapter clearly.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.

If you loved reading Katy Brent’s How to Kill Men and Get Away with It by Katy Brent and The Best Way To Bury Your Husband by Alexia Casale - this book, How to Kill a Guy in Ten Ways by Eve Kellerman, this will be right up your street!
By day Millie Masters works in a picture framing shop, and by night runs the Message M hotline to help women who are out at night but feel too scared to walk home due to the behaviour of men.
Millie has her own personal reasons for running the hotline……
However, things take a turn and Millie steps up the scope of the Message M service and she turns full vigilante!
The book deals with serious issues: women’s safety, date rape, sexual assault, mental health. Despite this, there are some truly dark comedic fun moments. One thing is for sure, you would really want Millie in your corner!
It was a great audiobook and I just wanted to keep listening to it. The written style is really accessible and it’s really fast paced with humour sprinkled through out. The narrator, Elisabeth Hopper, really brings the book to life and has a great range of voices for the different characters.
Huge thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, HarperCollins UK Audio, for making the e-audio-ARC available to me in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and give an honest review for this title.
I really enjoyed the narrator and the storyline kept me invested. I want a Nina in my life!

Wow, what an audiobook. I really enjoyed listening to this book in which we meet Millie. By day Millie frames pictures, by evening she uses her Dial M service to rescue women who finds themselves in dangers situations with men. All it takes is one rescue situation gone wrong, to make Millie realise that she could go even further to protect women in danger from devious men.
I loved how complicated and nuanced Millie was as a character. It made for a more enjoyable listening experience, as I could never quite decide if I liked her or not or if I was rooting for her or not in her bloody mission. However I felt in the moment though, I was thoroughly entertained by her no hold barred dark humour.
The narrator is spectacular, really bringing Millie and her environment to life, with an engaging tone and a range of voices.
Seriously, the audiobook was so good that even a long commute, housework and the super tedious job of sorting out raffle tickets whizzed by.
If you like thrillers, dark humour and female killers, then congratulations, you have just found your next audiobook.
Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the chance to review an advanced copy of the book in exchange for an honest review .

Really enjoyed this.
Dark and witty, you can’t help but root for Millie.
The narrator was great and will definitely be on the look out for more, from both them and this author.

This was an excellent listen , I found it to be dark yet witty in parts. The plot is a bit mad and put there but I found myself wanting to know what happened next at the same time. This reminded me of Katy Brent books in some ways but overall a really enjoyable listen and some hard hitting topics thrown in too which would make it a good book club pick I think. Thank you to the publisher and to netgalley for this audio arc.

This was a a dark, fun read! I listened to the audiobook and the narrator sounds like a friend telling a story so that was prefect for this type of book. I loved this one, the serial killer aspect was interesting with lots of dark humor even with all of the serious and sad parts. Highly recommend!

Following the rape of her younger sister Millie sets up a service coming to the rescue of women finding themselves in a vulnerable position on a night out. One of these rescues goes a little too far but with no one suspecting her involvement Millie goes full blown vigilante and before long she’s a serial killer and that doesn’t include her dad. But when she loses her job is she also losing her grip on reality? Then she starts dating a police detective - will her actions catch up on her?
When I started reading I thought this book might be too much like Katy Brent’s great book ‘How to Kill Men and Get Away With It’ but with its great back story, great characters and humour it is a great addition to the trope. Millie is a woman you want to back. Yes, there’s the odd accidental, not properly considered murder, but who can’t relate to that? We all have bad hair days!
With themes of stalking, date rape drugs and unwanted attention this book is sadly all too relevant. I highly recommend it to any woman who’s felt vulnerable due to the behaviour of a man at some time.

Massive thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK Audio for this ARC.
If you’re a woman in need then contact Millie on the message M helpline. Millie will help you with any issue you have whether it’s an abusive boyfriend, a date gone wrong or any other threat. She might even commit a murder. Is she a feminist vigilante or a monster. You can decide as you follow Millie in her pursuit of revenge for her Sister’s attack.
I’ve never read a serial killer book quite like this one, how refreshing to see a new take on the serial killer genre.
The author uses fantastic characterisation to explore the main characters backstory which goes a long way to explaining her motivation for murder. Never thought I’d find myself having sympathy for a serial killer and at times I found myself rooting for her in her pursuit of revenge.
This was a fast paced, dark, witty and at times surprisingly comic story. However I would have liked a bit more storyline development around the Dial M users as these parts felt slightly rushed.
Found the narrator fit the character perfectly and binged this story in a day.

3.5 stars
I enjoyed getting to know Millie a bit before her murderous spree began.
To find out she was a decent human being set on helping others in need, a loving sister and a loyal friend.
That helped me like her more when the bodies kept piling up.
It's a fun listen, lots of humour in there, but plenty of darkness too , subjects of abuse and rape and of course murder.
What got old, quite quickly for me, was Millie falling into flirting within minutes of not getting what she wanted, and EVERY single male falling for it.
Non the less, it was a great listen, and definitely one I'll recommend to friends.

This took me ages to get through not because it dragged or I didn’t enjoy it but I kept skipping back to listen to little pieces of excellence over and over.
Requires multiple trigger warnings, I really wish they’d add them.
Dark, gory, grizzly but witty and sharp as a tack!
I love that the protagonist breaks the third wall all the way through the book, she makes suggestions directly to us and questions us. Is the third wall even a thing in a book?!! I’m unsure but it worked so well.
Absolutely smashed it out of the park with a huge 5 stars 🌟

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins U.K. audio for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook in return for an honest review.

Eve Kellman writes a darkly humorous serial killer thriller that will likely have you rooting for killer the more you get to know and understand her. I listened to this on audio, narrated by Elisabeth Hopper, whose voice took me some time to get used to as her tone was a little harsher than I expected, but once I had acclimatised to it, I was fine, becoming completely immersed in the all too gripping story. Millie Mason carries a burden of guilt, her wonderful younger sister that she is so proud of, Katie, who had managed to get into Durham University, is raped, and Millie is left haunted, she feels she should have been there to protect her. Having failed when it comes to Katie, Millie does the next best thing, she tries to save other women now.
Millie has set up a hotline, Message M. in her spare time, (her day job has her working in a picture framing shop), for women and girls who find themselves being harassed, in unsafe situations when it comes to men, such as being stalked, followed home in the dark, or unable to shake a unwanted man off at a bar. Millie steps in to help, only when she accidently kills a deplorable man when rescuing a young woman who had her drink spiked, she keeps her cool, cleaning up and making it look as if it was an accident. This puts intriguing ideas in head as she becomes an intentional killer, all with the goal of helping women. Slowly in a drip drip style, we become aware of more details on what happened to Katie and Millie, there are some surprising twists and turns before the final conclusion.
This is a fun, fast paced, satirical, and entertaining read, that underlines the serious issues and challenges that women face on a everyday basis in real life, achieved with this stylish drama, the author creating the vehicle of a compelling female serial killer with her terrific asides, rage at what happened to Katie, what it did to her sister afterwards, as she searches for the guilty man, and the spot on points she makes. I can see many readers and listeners enjoying this too!! Many thanks to the publisher for an ALC.

Absolutely loved this audio book. I do enjoy a female serial killer and this follows along the lines of Sweetpea and How to Kill Your Family. I thought the message service for females stranded or with men who wouldn't take no for an answer was genius and before you know it the main character is racking up the body count. Narration was fantastic and I listened in a few days. Will definitely read more from this author in the future.

Wow wow wow!!
I listened to this in a day! It to me through talking the wallpaper of my bedroom.
I couldn’t love it more
It was full of funny banter, true friendship and a little murder.
I actually had read the book but listening to it was a whole new different experience I gave the book 4 stars. But this was definitely 5!!!
The title just draws you in and cover is bright and fun. But you stay for the brilliant dark humour. I absolutely it Millie writing it as her dairy was so different it was so much fun to listen too. i adored Millie and found it hard to see the wrong she does a female serial killer I would still want as a friend. This really is a breath of fresh air in uniqueness. I would definitely recommend! It’s fun light brilliant humour a little murder with a strong female character what more could you want.
