Ms. Davis has a wonderful writing style and is able to vividly pen the surroundings and her characters in a way that the reader is completely immersed in the novel. In turn, it made it easier to connect with characters themselves .
The plot is solid, and there are some great twists. I figured out the first one, but that didn't take away anything from the enjoyment.
Everyone has secrets, and I was swept up into all the manipulation and deceit. I didn't know who was
Fans of popcorn thrillers are sure to enjoy this .
I have read and enjoyed most of 6 books and am looking forward to the sequel for this one.
Thank you to Netgally, Bookature, and the author for my copy. My review was voluntary.

I was a bit hesitant in the beginning, but as I dived deeper, it kept getting better and better. It blew my mind!
Then, out of nowhere, came the the plot twist... Oh my goodness! I was shocked by how everything unfolded, although I may have had a slight suspicion about one aspect. The rest was truly unexpected and there was no way I was putting it down without finishing it!
Cannot wait to dive into Book 2 ASAP!!
I received this book as an advanced reader copy for free and have provided my review absolutely voluntarily.

Such a brilliant book - edge of the seat all the way. So many twists i did not expect. Talented brilliant writing. I didnt want it to end, highly recommended.

Wow, what an amazing book, I couldn't get through this, book quickly enough, Isnd I certainly did not guess the ending!

In “The Woman at My Wedding” by author L.G. Davis weaves a gripping tale of secrets, suspense, and betrayal.
The FMC, Brynn, is on the cusp of marrying Nathan, the love of her life. As the wedding approaches, Brynn faces ominous signs: vandalized cake toppers, a missing veil, and a sense of danger. The tension builds as Brynn questions who she can trust, and whether her perfect day will turn into a nightmare.
As Brynn navigates treacherous waters of deceit and manipulation, I couldn't help but be swept along on her tumultuous journey. With well-developed characters and a plot full of surprises, "The Woman at My Wedding" is a thrilling page-turner that will leave you breathless until the very end.
Prepare yourself for a wild ride through love, lies, and redemption in this compelling novel that will keep you guessing until the final, heart-stopping revelation. Don't miss out on this captivating story that will stay with you long after you turn the last page!

The first half of this book was a real slow starter for me. The reader is teasted repeatedly about some big secret Brynn ( the bride-to-be) is hiding from her husband-to-be Nathan. A few strange things began to happen. At about the half-way mark, things really got interesting and the last half of the book is a page turner. None of the characters were particularly likeable.
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC of this book.

I was truly drawn into Brynn's character, feeling her presence vividly painted by Liz's eloquent descriptions. The beach house, the dress, everything felt palpable, and Brynn came across as remarkably real and relatable.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and the book overall, I did figure things out quite early on, which lessened the impact of the major plot twists for me. The ending left me somewhat undecided, hinting at a potential sequel but deviating from my initial expectations. Nonetheless, I look forward to what lies ahead in the story.
As a fan of wedding tales and their accompanying drama, this story resonated with me perfectly.
Debbie's character was a standout for me. Her wit, dry humor, and sharp insights truly shone in this book.
Gratitude to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy.

This is a novel set in the US, and it read as a decent psychological thriller, good use of smoke and mirrors, and definitely one in which the reader should expect the unexpected!
The plot centres around the forthcoming wedding of Brynn and Nathan. The story is told from the perspective of Brynn. Brynn is alone in the run up to the wedding, as Nathan, a criminal defence lawyer is in the midst of a high profile murder case. A knock at the door marks the arrival of an uninvited guest - mother in law, Debbie. Brynn seems reluctant to share this information with Nathan, we later learn that Nathan does not get on with his mother and has not invited her to the wedding. Meanwhile, someone seems intent on destroying the wedding, as Brynn finds herself the recipient of a threatening note, followed by various other acts of sabotage.
This novel play out in a very unpredictable way, and it is a unique and gratifyingly twisty plot. Overall an enjoyable novel that fans of US psychological fiction would surely enjoy.
My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy.

I could not put this book down! I was turning pages as fast as I could, completely lost in the story. There was so much going on, and so many relationships to be wary of. I was right on some of my guesses, but so much I never saw coming. The ending was a huge cluster f*ck and I loved every minute of the wild wedding scene. I really liked how we got a proper ending and closing scenes with the characters. I can’t wait to dive right into the next book of the series.

Brynn is getting prepared for her wedding to Nathan, although they are estranged from his mother. So she is shocked when Debbie arrives saying she’s there to help with the wedding. Soon everything starts going wrong. Is someone trying to sabotage the big day and was Brynn wrong about everything all along?
This was a mixed bag for me. It took me quite a while to get into the story, as well as the writing style, but once I did it flowed much better and became more of a steady pace. This was definitely a twisty read! Although I guessed one of the main twists, there was one that definitely didn’t. Towards the end it started becoming a bit implausible, however it was entertaining. This is a quick, easy read and there’s a second book coming out in this series, that I would be interested in reading. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this copy in return for an honest review.

I have not read many of LG Davis titles. This one was pretty good it was kind of slow to start but picked up steam as it went along. I hope the second one in this series answers my questions.

Review of “The Woman at my Wedding” by L.G. Davis. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for a review. This book comes out on June 13th! 🩷
Ohh, I thought I had this one. Thought I saw right through it. Guess what: I, in fact, did not. Some of it I wasn’t too surprised by (which honestly happens when you suspect everyone in a book), but most of it came as a great little plottwist. I had a great time reading this. I loved My Husband’s Secret by this author as well, so I was excited to dive into new work.
Synopsis:
I’ve dreamed of this day forever. But will it be my last?
My stomach flutters with happiness as I try on my wedding dress. In just a few weeks I’m going to marry Nathan, the love of my life, and everything will be perfect.
We are estranged from Nathan’s mother, so I’m shocked when Debbie arrives, suitcase in hand. She says she’s moving in to help with the wedding preparations. But what is she hiding behind her pleasant smile? Is it possible she knows my darkest secret?
As the wedding draws closer, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m in danger. Beautiful cake toppers are delivered to my doorstep, but the bride’s face is smashed in. My veil goes missing, taken from my bedroom overnight. Has someone been inside my home, watching me while I sleep?
I won’t let anyone ruin my perfect day. And yet as I’m walking down the aisle, I find myself scanning my guests’ faces, searching for a woman with hatred in her gaze.
But when I look up, it’s Nathan’s eyes that are cold and strange. Has the man I love realised he knows nothing about me?
Then the terrible truth hits me. I was wrong about everything.
And I think I’m going to pay with my life…
Definitely recommend to anyone who’s in need of a quick thriller with enough twists to keep you on the edge of your seat ✨💛

It was full of lies, secrets and deceit I could not figure who was trying to ruin Brynn’s wedding and life and when I did find out wow what a jaw dropping moment that was. This had what I love about thrillers suspense throughout with many twists and turns. I will definitely be recommending this to everyone. Fantastic thriller thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy of this gripping book.

Oh I just loved this book, it was really addictive and a great holiday read. I just kept reading as I really wanted to find out what happened. Then to make it even better there is another book in the series - that is this weekend's read.
Yes the plot means that you have to suspend belief but that is the great thing about escaping into a book. The tension of the wedding background worked really well.
Thoroughly enjoyed it as I didn't know what was happening. The title makes perfect sense

⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Woman at My Wedding by L.G. Davis in nicely built psychological thriller with some good twists and sharp-turn at the end. And before the sharp-turn I literally thought that I would love to have a next book to enjoy the other side of Brynn. So acknowledgement that there is next book made me really happy!
I really liked the story and story line. Some parts clicked with me some not but in general I absolutely enjoyed this book!
In 30 day time Brynn and Nathan are getting married! It will be their dream wedding! Everything is perfect until is not. Peace by peace things falls apart, but they managing to find solutions. Everyone has hidden agenda and secrets they don't want to share - just yet. But what will happen when truth comes out?
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for this copy! Cant wait to dive in to the next book!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for an advanced copy to review for my honest opinion.

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for an early copy of The Woman at My Wedding. I Loved the Nanny series and I was so looking forward to this series but it was a disappointment!!!! I kept with it hoping it would get better but it didn't, and now I am going to read the sequel to see if that will make up for this one. The conversations were childish and not believable and one of the biggest questions I had was Why did Brynn NOT tell Nathan about his mom???? Of course it all comes together at the end but I would consider this a young adult read.
