If i am being honest i have never been a big K L Slater fan (sorry) however the description and title for this book got me so i thought i would give i would request and give it a go.
I am actually glad i Did it started off well and you thought were is this going so it definately got you hooked.
the characters are easy too get behind poor saffy and poppy - the stories gripping with plenty of twists and things thrown in and the ending is great..

An urgent message … please just come … sends Saffy racing to the home of her friend. But when she arrives, everything at the house appears normal. Friend Leonie denies the message , now inexplicably deleted. Six hours later Saffi is contacted by the police. Leonie and her husband and child are missing, there’s blood found in their home, and Saffi, the last person to see them alive, appears to be the main suspect. With enough twists and turns to leave you giddy, this psychological thrilller will keep you guessing until the very end.

KL Slater does it again. Another great mind blowing twister of a thriller that had me questioning everyone and still getting to the wrong answer. When Saffy finds herself suspect number one in the disappearance of her best friend and her family it’s a race against time to find out the truth before it’s all pinned on her and she is not sure if she can even trust her own family to tell the truth and support her.

'Message Deleted' is a fast paced, somewhat mysterious read that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. The plot is full of drama and mystery and I was gripped by it early on. There is more to the plot than I first thought and I enjoyed seeing the more complex plot play out and seeing how the different threads came together.
The characters are great too, I enjoyed getting to know Saffy and Leona and learning about their shared past. As always with Slater's books, watch out for the twists as the books are never what you fully expect them to be.
Thank you to NetGalley and Michael Joseph for an advance copy.

An enjoyable read. I have read a lot of this authors books and enjoy their writing. A little bit slow to start but good when you get into it.
The characters work well together and the plot was well written. Thankyou for advanced copy looking forward to next.

I really enjoy author K.L Slater books, always well written with interesting characters, totally addictive and this latest book is no different.
I loved this book, it kept me guessing and engrossed on holiday as I couldn’t put it down. Brilliantly written as usual, I can usually work out the plot but not with this one. Well done K.L. Slater, can’t wait to read the next book!

As a huge fan of this author I couldn't wait to pick this up and let me tell you this book is every bit as good as their previous books. It's completely gripping like you will struggle to tear yourself away from this book even for a few minutes. Full of twists definitely shocking and surprising. Fantastic read.

Fantastic book!
This has me gripped from the very first chapter!
Phenomenal, jaw dropping twists!
Highly recommend

K. L. Slater is one of my favourite authors and I’ve read pretty much Kim’s whole back list and like others, this didn’t disappoint. This was definitely a slow burner for me but it wraps up well. I enjoyed Slater’s writing and the ease that comes to reading any of her works. Good plot twists and character development where needed. All in all, another hit for Slater. Looking forward to reading this one again.

My thanks to NetGalley and Michael Joseph for a copy of “Message Deleted” for an honest review.
Another brilliant, suspenseful and gripping book by K L Slater.Ive never read anything by her that I haven’t really enjoyed .
She’s my “ go to “ when anyone asks me for a recommendation. Her books are so readable and keep you guessing right to the end. This book really built up the tension, and I had to rush to get to the end
I can’t wait for her next release !

This is a slow burn mystery of where the missing Bannatyne Family is and who took them. Saffy receives three disturbing messages from her bff Lenora, but the messages are quickly deleted. Distraught Saffy leaves her interview and heads to Lenora’s place. Hours later police are at Saffy’s place asking questions about the Bannatyne’s. There should be some sort of girl code established lol, everyone is dating, have dated each others bf at one point! Thanks to the publisher for a copy.

I loved KL Slaters novels and Message Deleted is a fantastic story of misdirection, twist and turns! I love to try and guess the ending to stories but you will never guess this one!

Great story centred around a mother whose life fell apart following an attack on her sister. Not the most relatable character but a good story that had lots of surprises

This was a decent slow burn thriller featuring Saffy who is concerned about her best friend Leona after receiving some concerning text messages that then get deleted. After Leona and her family go missing and Saffy was the last person to see her she comes under suspicion by the police investigating the disappearance. There’s a lot of back history to the characters in this which does add further mystery to the story but I did struggle to engage with the characters which made it a more challenging read for me, I had some suspicion regarding the perpetrator fairly early on which possibly also altered my feelings about this book as there were no major revelations for me. The concept of this is great and if I hadn’t sussed parts out sooner the conclusion would have been more satisfactory but that’s more a reflection on me than the story. 7/10

This is a great story which had me hooked from the very start. The fact I never figured out who the culprit was, tells me it was worth 5 stars. It was easy to read and there weren't too many characters. This helps from getting confused as to who is who. I could also see this made into a movie. Definitely would watch it!!

With friends like these.....!
K L Slater is one of my go to authors, her books are full of dodgy characters with suspect motives which makes for a great domestic noir/thriller. This was another enjoyable read from her and I love the way everything was tied up at the end.

I was reading another book but couldn't resist a peek at this one. Lethal! KL Slater draws you in like a moth to a flame. Initially you're thinking "what's the story?" but then she starts teasing with tempting snippets of background and unexplained mysteries. Before you know it, the other book is cast aside. A fiendishly complex plot, hugely enjoyable. K L Stater has done it again!

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the advance copy.
This was a super quick read for me. I really felt invested into finding out what had happened. I did find myself getting slightly annoyed with the main character as she seemed to let so many people treat her badly.
It was fairly obvious where the plot was going but it didn't take away from the enjoyableness of the book.
4 stars

I really enjoyed this book. Saffy receives a message from her friend Leona asking her to come straight over and not to call. However, when Saffy arrives Leona denies all knowledge of the message and claims everything is fine. Several hours later Saffy is told that Leona, her husband and young daughter have disappeared and blood has been found in the house. This is a fast paced story which will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end.
Thanks to NetGalley for a preview copy.
Copied to Goodreads.

I love this author one of my favourites so as soon as I seen this I could not wait to read it and wow I was not disappointed. It was a completely original thriller with well developed characters. It was one of those thrillers once you start you find it very difficult to put down. It had me guessing throughout. It was a fantastic read with many twists and turns highly recommended.
