I really enjoyed this new book from Laura Dave, I've been a fan of her last book, before it became a great tv show!

A brilliant story of the mystery of our families, parents and siblings. Of how grief can make us pull away from those we love and how love can be found in many forms and how enduring love can look different to those looking in.

Great characters, love the weaving into Liam's past, made the book ever more richer.

I was expecting a whodunnit but this was definitely more focused on more on love stories and complex relationships. I kept thinking I was one step ahead and the twist was obvious - but I was wrong! Overall this was a quick and enjoyable read.

This book really took my breath away. I was expecting a typical sort of whodunnit, but it was so much more than that. There are complex relationships and hidden secrets, mixed with types of characters that make you want to savour what you’re reading. I never guessed the mystery - kept thinking I was one step ahead, but I wasn’t. The ending was perfection. A beautiful last chapter.
