Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this ARC.
Complete honesty - I didn't realise this was the third (?) instalment of a series that I haven't read!
Even though this was my first encounter with Rosalina and her mates, I still really enjoyed it and found myself getting sucked into the action.
This is a fast paced book which was appreciated although towards the end I kind of felt like it was going on forever.
Well written and I would say well thought out as well. The way this ended was the perfect type of cliff hanger to make you want to carry onto the next in the series!

With Spring taken and Summer soon behind, Rosie and the Princes of the Vale are in a race to find an upper hand over Sira and Kairyn. As plans are put in place, Rosie is separated from her mates and has to work with the prince who is the farthest from her than ever, Dayton, and his newly found mate, Wrenley. But as Rosie and Day find it harder to deny their pull to one another, Dayton grapples with accepting his bond with a woman he could never love, or leaving himself cursed and his powers bound forever.

Broken by Daylight? I am Devastated by Daylight. Heartbroken by Daylight. In a Puddle on the Floor, Someone Please Sedate Me by Daylight. Elizabeth and Helen have done a fabulous job of keeping me on my toes with all the twists and turns - you think you know whatโs going to happen next with the softball foreshadowing only to get absolutely blown away by what you never saw coming. All of our princes progress beautifully in their development, but not all of them at the pace or direction we would expect. Like with every Beast of the Briar release, I am left salivating for more and anxiously awaiting an announcement for the next book.

This was the fourth book in the series, and was based around the summer realm and Dayton. Considering Dayton probably wasn't my favourite prince going into this book, I actually really loved this and think he might be one of my new favourites!
The book was absolutely jam packed and I really enjoyed all the adventures and side quests in it. It felt like the world that Elizabeth Helen created was more thoroughly explored and so much bigger than before with the introduction of some seriously cool characters, as well as some characters in previous books having much more of a role in this book.
I was also so glad that some things that were hinted at in book three were confirmed, one thing in particular was a HUGE relief! And I've got to say I loved the kind of 'forced proximity' between Rosie and Dayton, that was amazing! I also want to add how gorgeous the art scenes in this book are, it was such a nice addition to the book!
Thank you to Harper Collins and Netgalley for providing me with an arc of this book.
Broken by Daylight by Elizabeth Helen is the fourth book in the Beasts of the Briar Series.
ย
After absolutely loving the first three books, I was so excited to continue this series and this book is just amazing.
ย
The book focuses on Dayton and therefore gives great summer and Little Mermaid vibes, which I absolutely loved. Dayton must reclaim the throne in this court, and he needs all his strength for it. His character development was amazing in this book and something I anticipated finally happened.
ย
I liked the plot with Kairyn a lot and it provided the right amount of suspense and tension and made this book even more unputdownable. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions, and all the characters are facing hardships and hurdles and had to face their own challenges. But I loved how they all came together and got through it together. I also loved the art in this book, and it was just perfect. The end of this book came way too soon and Iโm always sad to leave this world.
ย
Overall, Broken by Daylight is another masterpiece and the perfect next installment of the series.

I am utterly floored by โBroken by Daylightโ by Elizabeth Helen! A massive thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the e-ARCโI am beyond grateful to have experienced this story early. This book was beyond everything I hoped for. Day and Rosie (and, of course, Farron, Kaldarion, Caspian, and Ezyrn) took me on a whirlwind of a journey that was nothing short of thrilling, suspenseful, and utterly fantastic. And let me tell you, the spice? It will send you completely out of orbitโseriously, brace yourself!
This book focuses on Dayton and Rosie, who absolutely stole the show for me. But then there's WrenโDaytonโs supposed mate, which I will never accept, yuckโhovering around like that one stubborn smudge on your glasses that just wonโt go away, no matter how many times you try to wipe it off. Despite the inconvenience of Wrenโs presence, lol, the story was packed with so much adventure and emotion that I was left completely spellbound, captivated, devastated, and stunnedโall at onceโfrantically gobbling up every sentence, desperate to see what would happen next.
What really stood out, though, was how perfectly balanced everything was. The friendships, the romance, and the character growth shine just as strongly as the spiceโa perfect match. Thereโs story, and thereโs spice, and having both is nice. ๐๐ Elizabeth Helen has outdone themselves with this one. The sister-author duo continues to raise the bar, and this book might just be my favorite in the series yet. Iโve already devoured it twice and canโt wait to have the physical copy in my hands in just a few days so I can dive back in for yet another reread.
If you havenโt started this series yet, what are you even doing?! โBroken by Daylightโ is top-tier, and I cannot recommend it enough. The princes and Rosie have completely taken over my mind and heart, lingering with me long after Iโve finished reading. With all the beautiful and awe-inspiring surprises packed into this book, I have no doubt that everyone is going to go absolutely crazy for it. Prepare to be blown awayโhighly recommend!

โWord is, the High Prince of Winter is pissed.โ
Ok my thoughts are still the same, Caspian and Keldarion carry my entire love and affection for this series. The mystery and tension they built over the three books gave me this reckoning. I-need-youdesperately kind of way.
โThereโs no winning this fight. Best we can do is stay alive. Iโm trying to keep you fools that way, and stars know itโs no easy task.โ
Thereโs still curses to break and deadly adventures to be had. It will take the Princeโs full unbridled magic to free Summer and Spring Realms from Emperor Kairynโs tyranny.
โI love a little chaos. If I have to disrupt fateโs plan, Iโll do so gladly. After all,โ I purr, โwhat else are villains for?โ
I cannot believe it. This book was a monster, felt like it was never ending, and the hits just didnโt ever stop. That ending was brutal, and I went into this of the belief this was the last book! I cannot believe it and god damn, Iโm back on the precipice and hanging on for dear life. Oh Caspian will always be my favourite and him and Keldarion must bring in the reckoning, in book five, a book I didnโt know was coming.
โYou donโt have to be a great hero. But for once in your damned life, you donโt have to be the villain.โ
Ok now we wait for this to come to life again.
โWho the fuck are you, stranger? How do you know who we are? Speak, or Iโll gut you here in the alley!โ
This would be slightly more intimidating if I hadnโt presented her with a dollhouse for her last birthday.โ

One line review - This is my guilty pleasure series!
This was the best book in the Beasts of Briar series for me, as always it was a very easy read, although I did feel like at times it did drag on unnecessarily, especially in terms of solving problems in the simplest of ways but they took forever to get to that point. I did find the multiple POVs seemed to increase this sense of drag as I was reading.
I also thought this was the last book in the series so I was very confused when there was 20pages left and I was like how are they gonna solve all this... well they didn't and the author ended the book in such a heartbreaking way with not just 1 but 3 cliffhangers!
I can not wait for the next book as I need more Caspian in my life!
This book hit all the freaking feels.
It was AMAZING in all the ways it needed to be.
There was love, redemption, fates aligning, all
types of combat (styles: colosseum, aerial, water, well
pretty much everything). The world building and
character development was very detailed and awesome.
Loveedd the ending, even if it was heartbreakingly emotional.
I don't want to spoil it, so that's all I'm going to say... and that it
was EPIC!!!
Ok, ouch.
What a riot of emotions this was. Thereโs so many characters to care about and so much build up and tension - I just am lost for words half the time. I kept sitting up straighter while reading as if that would help at all but alas, I am still a screeching mess. Even when I thought I knew where it was going, there would be more elements to the situation that blindsided me. And now I have to sit here with a riot of reactions and wait for more when this book was only just released :โ)
The obsession continues. I fear itโll have me in a chokehold for the foreseeable.
P.S. petition for a Delphie and Nori spin-off
"Love is an endless sea, and in its depths, I find your strength."
What do the sisters put in these books to make them so addicting?!?
What. A. Rollercoaster. Of. Emotions. I screamed, I laughed, I swooned. I cried. Some of the twists I anticipated by picking up clues from the previous books, but that cliffhanger ending?! Stop it. I have so many questions and need answers! Please, donโt make us wait too long for book 5!
To anyone hesitating to pick up this seriesโdonโt. You wonโt regret it. The world-building, the spice, the character development, and the plot twists are everything. Hands down, one of my favourite romantasy series.
Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollinsUK for providing me with a copy of this book for a honest review.
If you were as emotional broken as me after the last book then be prepared for lots of happiness and joy in this one is what I wish I could say but cannot the brutal emotional roller coaster continues but I wouldnโt want it any other way. There are plenty of moments of spicy spicy and happiness to keep you going though found through so donโt despair yet.
Elizabeth Helen where do I send my therapy bill?
This book is actually everything. Every character had some beautiful moments. Elizebeth Helen just keeps getting better and better with their writing. I went through all the emotions, from feet kicking giggles to tears, I never knew what was going to happen next and if our heroes were going to make it out.
The end of the books leaves me concerned for the future of our beloved characters. There were things that occured that I am unsure how we are going to come back from and makes me wonder if this story will truly have a happily ever after. I am sitting on the edge of my seat for the next book.
4.5 stars, another great addition to the series. Marking this one down a little lower than the previous installments as was a little slow in places. That ending though! Can't wait for the next one!
Aggghhh I want more!!!! This book was SO much fun!! There was action and romance and sadness and chaos and so many moving parts I felt like I was along for the ride. I absolutely looovvvedddd it and I cannot wait for more!!!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of Broken by Daylight. You all are in for a treat! I have followed Elizabeth Helen from the start, and watching the writing evolve into beautiful, vivid prose has been a pleasure. I NEVER annotate my books, and this one is the first one where I had to highlight some of the most beautiful sentences, expressions, and phrases structured together to convey levels of emotion usually difficult to express on page. The rollercoaster ride that was this novel was worth every minute. I love this series so much and cannot wait for you all to get your hands on this book! Wonderful, beautiful job Elizabeth Helen! I canโt wait for the next one!
'I cannot keep away from you any more than the tides can resist the pull of the moon.'
I was really looking forward to this book ever since I finished the 3rd one, I really can't believe it's finally out and with a lot of plot twists. I saw a few of them coming and I'm really happy they happened that way. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
I'm trying not to be very spoilery, but beware that we have spoilers down below.
We finally got out match together and I couldn't be happier. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Wrenly is definetly getting what she deserves, and I'm glad the gang found out a lot of stuff that's been going on about which they didn't have any clues.
The gang is mostly separated through the book, but some get together in some very important parts of the book.
Some parts were really touching and I sobbed through them, I couldn't believe how many twists we got. A lot of them I didn't see coming and I was really broken because of them. ๐ญ๐ญ
And the cliffhanger at the end is the death of me, now I gotta wait till the next book is out to see what happens next. It's a really big cliffhanger with all the twists that have happened in the book. ๐ข๐ข
This is my favorite book of the series so far. Lots of twists and turns, and some great plot development. I really enjoyed learning more about the Summer Realm and seeing more of Dayton. This book was a long one but I couldnโt put it down.
Spicy scenes were still threaded throughout. I enjoyed some of them, but there were terms that I found to be a bit cheesy. Personally I would rate it 3.5/5 on the spice scale.
Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK for providing me with an ARC copy of this book!
Absolutely amazing! This book keeps you guessing constantly at every turn with a great amount of spice! It kept me on the edge of my seat to know what was going to happen. The book ends on a cliffhanger like always and it makes you excited for book 5! The best out of the series yet!
I was so excited To be approved for an arc of this book.
After the cliffhanger in the last book I was salivating for the next entry in this series
I went into this book like I STG if Dayton ends up with Wrenley Iโm throwing my kindle ๐
This book turned out to be my favourite of the series. There was more worldbuilding in this one which set up the scene for the next book. I really enjoyed seeing more of the realms.
I was screaming when I found out certain things. When certain events happened And when Elizabeth and Helen threw in that cheeky little MM. I was not expecting those 2 to vibe at all.
By the end of this book, I was screaming crying and wanting to vomit. FARRON & DAYTON
CAS AND ROSIE.
I DONโT THINK I CAN TAKE THE NEXT BOOK AND I WILL BE SCREAMING UNTIL I GET IT
This was honestly amazing. My favorite book of the series so far. I sat and stared at the wall for several minutes after finishing this one. Itโs days later and I am STILL thinking about it. Iโll definitely be doing a full series reread when my physical copies arrive.
I donโt know how to feel! The ending has me needing the fifth book immediately. That CLIFFHANGER?!?! ๐ซ๐ฎโ๐จ Of course, I expected a cliffhanger but oh my god. Caspian is my absolute favorite character and I was so happy we got so many chapters of his POV. Rosalina was so strong and good this book. I loved Daytonโs book so much. Seriously, all the characters are gold. They have me so STRESSED OUT for the next book, though. I just need them all to be okay!
I was so happy to see so many of my predictions come true! But the twists?! So many new unanswered questions! Iโm so obsessed with this series. Itโs officially one of my absolute favorite romantasy series. I canโt wait to get my hands on the next book.
This was definitely a 5 star read for me. Thank you so much to Netgalley and Harper Collins UK for the ARC!
