I was not ready for Morgan’s adventures to be over but here we are πŸ₯²
This series has such a special place in my heart, this last book has had me sobbing like a baby constantly! I was not prepared to have lost so many people with in 1 book so be prepared…

So many secrets/ memories were recovered for Morgan from her past that I won’t share more on or I’ll spoil it but there’s little hints throughout the series that I didn’t see till they re-mentioned them!
The time her and Draven had in the mountain was so bloody frustrating πŸ™„
And dear Medra my god, I wish we got more on her! i feel like she could have had a story all to herself, poor Draven I truly felt for him!

In all this is one of my favourite books out of the series & this is a number 1 series for me now❀️

I give this infinite stars ✨✨✨

An action packed final installment to a riveting fantasy epic!

Whew the emotions on this one were high! This Knight of the Goddess was a good reminder that this series is DARK Romantasy and not everything will go smoothly and not everyone is going to make it to the end.

As solid and self-assured Morgan has been on her journey thus far, we are introduced to a much more questioning Morgan as bits and pieces of her true identity are revealed and start coming back to her.

Where the previous books had been focused a lot on Morgan and Draven (and their quests), this one really focuses on her journey to overtake her father and it brought a whole new slew of challenges and insights to their crew that the previous books didn't have.

We gain a new POV in this story that seemed wild at first, but I personally grew to empathize and love this character by the end and wow. I didn't see that coming, not really.

The last quarter of this book is so action packed that I'm not sure I blinked while reading. A lot of revelations, a lot of twists, and a lot of heartbreak.

This was a good ending to a great series!

Overall: recommend!

I think the story could have probably been wrapped up in three books, but the ending and epic showdown at the wow!
Though I was devastated with some of the characters ending.

Morgan and Draven willingness to love each other through all is a testament. The Vela moment really got me.
In all an entertaining story tale with a unique retelling of well loved myths.

Get your tissues ready!! My husband would look over at me in concern and confusion as I would be sobbing. This book had me feeling so many emotions and the way that Briar has a way to connect me to the characters, even ones I hardly knew, had me enthralled. Without spoiling the ending, I can’t even tell you that I was happy with how it ended because my heart is in a million places right now. Well done Briar.

If you haven’t read this series yet, what are you waiting for? I cannot wait for Briar’s next series. September cannot come soon enough!

Well this was a good ending to this series. I’m relieved that it is over. This was the fourth and final book in the series. A series that I have been enjoying very much. I read the 3rd book around 6 months ago.

I found the beginning of the book a little bit hard to get into after a break between books. Without rereading the third book, I was a little lost, and trying to remember what happened. And it took quite a while to get to any kind of recap until 10%. And there was a weird moment of braking the fourth wall at the end of chapter 4. It brought me completely out of the story and didn’t sit right with the rest of the narrative in the blatant foreshadowing.

The rest of the. Book was decent. Not amazing, not terrible. But I’m glad I don’t have it on my TBR anymore. The loose ends were tied up fairly easily. There weren’t many more twists. Everything was fairly well foreshadowed.

Thank you NetGallet and. For the eARC. All opinions are my own.

Thank you for this Arc!

I binged the 1st three books and had been patiently waiting to see how the series would conclude.
I enjoyed the multiple POVs, Draven and Morgan's relationship, the action and suspense.

What an action packed conclusion to the Blood of a Fae series, Knight of the Goddess is. Morgan Le Fae battles against her father to save the realms, learns how to use her powers fully, and finds the answers to many mysteries along the way.

I loved how Morgan's and Draven's relationship deepened into a true partnership. The duel points of view from Morgan and Medra allowed for a deeper understanding of the story.

"Knight of the Goddess" by Briar Boleyn is the thrilling conclusion to the "Blood of a Fae" series. The story follows Morgan and Draven as they confront evil in Camelot. Their quest involves powerful artifacts. The artifacts their truths. Boleyn masterfully balances action, suspense, and emotional depth, delivering a satisfying closure to the series while highlighting themes of love and sacrifice

This one got a little confusing toward the end. How did Draven end up being Khor? Why did Medra have that speed aging thing going for her? Why did Gawain have to die? What was with Crescents 180 personality change? I have so many questions about this book.

I am almost sad for this series to be done... this last one really tore at my heart. I still loved it of course, but dang I was so invested in all the lives. Odessa, Hawley, Draven, Morgan... all of them.
I never felt lost. I could picture the scenery and everything. So wonderfully written that I was just so easy to see as a "movie in my head" as I was reading.

And the saga sadly ends with the fourth and final book, Knight of the Goddess. I'm in awe how Briar made this Arthurian retelling a mindblowing series, full of action, slow burn spicy romance, enemies to lovers and mystical creatures!
I really liked this book, but I felt a little left down, probably due to my high expectations after reading the last three.
I loved the Dual Pov between Morgan and Medra. It makes the story so much more interesting and gave more insight in the life of Medra.

One thing that bothered me was the lack of grieve the characters were showing when there was a death happening. I mean, they were not mourning over the loss of a dear friend, just plainly sad. Also I expected huge and epic battles, but while reading there was a fight and then it just stopped.

Overall rating 3 out of 5 ⭐️ and 3 out of 5 🌢

Knight of the Goddess - by Briar Boleyn

The latest and last instalment of the 'Blood of a Fae' book series. I enjoyed many elements of this book, but found myself rushing to finish this book because I wasn't as gripped as I wanted to be. The spice felt repetitive and at times unrealistic, the throne scene was an interesting development. You can see how the author was influenced by Iron Flame last year. Briar Boleyn has proved she can write spice well in the past but was influenced this time I feel.

Some of the twists in this instalment had me reeling though, heart-breaking events throughout and the author is not afraid to drop characters which I love. Nobody is safe and this series did need that amazing unpredictability.

The downside I think for me was the focus on explaining everything with magic or goddess/gods, I think that is a step away from more realistic fantasy for my personal taste. Rapid aging and sudden abilities to fast travel when the last three books had a much slower pace walking across kingdoms feels a little lazy by the end just as a plot device to get things moving. I appreciate others would love this though.

Reader warning: trigger warnings throughout, but there is a helpful list at the back of the book. This book will heart your heart.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book wrapped up a series that I couldn’t get enough of rather nicely! It had a lot of great elements of adventure, fantasy, and action. This is not the type of book I typically read, but I am so glad that I requested this series!

The final book in the Blood of Fae series had me through the majority of the book but let me down due to the rush of the ending and action scenes that would arrive out of nowhere but all in all a great end to a good series. I ahead a few tears cause some parts were sad but I can see myself reading this series over in the future.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Sadly I was so invested in this series this book let me down. Everything felt rushed and and the ending was just β€œpoof” Thats it the finale. I wanted to love it, but it left me with a meh felling compared to the rest of this series.

Such a marvelous ending to a great series that I found via Netgalley. The end to Morgan and Draven's story was never going to be easy. They loved, lost, and gave it everything that had until the end. Sad to see it end, but so excited for what else this author has coming soon.

Morgan and Draven have been on an endless roller coaster of pain, battle, and death for the sake of two continents and the people/fae on them. This final chapter will determine everything. Will Morgan's true father wield the three powerful relics or will Morgan be able to stop him from destroying them all?

What a ride! This series has been so much fun. The characters are amazing and I connected with them immediately in the first book. The journey of discovery that these people go on shows how much thought the author put into their development. I will say that the ending is a tad underwhelming. I expected a few things to happen to show that the curse of the Siabra had been broken and I was left hanging. **Wink wink** I will provide a touch of criticism here as well that a lot of this installment felt like it belonged in other books/movies. I was getting major Iron Flame, Lord of the Rings, and Clash of the Titans vibes throughout this book and, honestly, it didn't feel necessary. It felt like an intentional nod to these works or like popular elements plucked to make the story feel familiar. I don't know. But, overall, loved the series. Don't regret a thing.

What an incredible end to the series!

I was hooked, on the edge of my seat and couldn't get through this quick enough.

Morgan and Draven's final quest saw them joined by their closet friends, but despite the incredible range of skillset between them all, it isn't an easy journey.

I was obsessed.

This series is interesting but feels too similar to other trending books for me to fully separate plots.
