This was an amazing end to the series. I have loved all the books but Briar really outdid herself with this one. It tore my heart out and stomped on it but I adored every second.

I feel like my soul has been ripped apart and put back together again… the joy I felt while reading this book, combined with the anticipation and the love and the heartbreak was absolutely amazing.

Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book and didn't disappoint in the slightest.
I was glued to the pages, desperate to know what happens next during my work days! This was tied together fantastically and made me gasp on several occasions due to not expecting what happened. This book brings the conclusion to Morgan and Draven's story and their quest to destroy the artifacts and destroy Gorlois le Fay, Morgan's father. Its full of adventure, loss, angst, romance and LOTs of desire and spice. We were given POVs from multiple characters which was a great touch! The pace of the book is steady and makes you not want to put it down.
This book series is super friendly to those who haven't had an interest in fantasy romance prior and honestly is such an amazing read that I will not forget.

What an absolute stunning conclusion to a roaring adventure. Everything came together to bring us a hell of a finale. It’s such a hard moment to realize as each page turns you’re coming to an end, but man it was a magical ride.
The series has so many aspects that any fantasy reader will love. We had bloodshed, magic, adventure, enemies to lovers, heartache, magical creatures, objects of power, and powerful figures moving this story along into four wonderful books.
“It will be my great honor to fight at your side once more.” He leaned down and kissed me, quickly but fiercely. “All or nothing, my silver one.”
Morgan is a fierce being, and following her into the unknown was a wonderful experience. From chasing down a sword with an unknown Draven, to falling in love, being surrounded my enemies who turn to friends, falling into failure and rising from that failure she proved she is truly a force to be reckoned with. I had a great time following along to her development into a powerful being.
I went into this prepared to feel a lot of emotions. About half way through I realized I was not at all prepared. (It was wonderful feeling I promise). The twists and turns had my stomach in knots while reading. The chaos following our characters was so much to digest at some points. Briar did any amazing job of connecting all these small details to bring us into a complete story. I’m sad to be saying goodbye to these characters but so happy to have been able to experience their journey. If you haven’t already you should be putting this series as your next read!

First of all, thank you to NetGalley, Starwater Press and Briar Boleyn for allowing me to read the ARC to "Knight of the Goddess" in exchange for an honest review.
Legends of Camelot, but make it fae!
What a grande finale.
I swallowed this books, inhalted the words like they were my life elixir and I could not surive if I do not keep reading, this is how invested I was into knowing what will happen, always greedy for more.
And frankly, even now, after it coming to an end, I am still in need of more.
I do not want to dive in too much into what was happening in the book, everything could just expose too much and I want everyone to pick those books up and read them for themselves, but it was fantastic. An end that made the story justice, with so many plot twists sometimes, it made my heart race and my head spin.
And the end? It broke and healed me at the same time.
I will forever hype up this series and will do my best to recomment it to everyone and everything so it gets the recognition it deserves. Not only is the story outstanding, but the author has a way with words that is just... enchanting.

Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series. Morgan and Draven are left to raise Morgan's sister's baby Medra and must deal with trying to establish peace and prosperity in Camelot after the war. When dark forces start to come after them, they must leave their niece and journey to get rid of the evil that seeks to destroy them all.
I really enjoyed this series and felt that this was a great book with a satisfying conclusion. I felt that from the first and second book that Morgan has seemed to grow up so I'm glad there seemed to finally be some character development. I enjoyed all the side characters and spoiler alert- there seems to be a spin off series which I am interested in getting my hands on!
Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for an advanced copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

(2.5)
I'm so glad I was able to be a part of this series from beginning to end as an arc reviewer and I'm super sad it's ending! This is the epic conclusion to the Blood of a Fae series where Morgan and Draven unite against the foe they've been fighting for longer than they thought.
I loved seeing the domestic relationship develop between Morgan and Draven and learning more about all the side characters. The multiple POV is always my fav because I love seeing the inner workings of Morgan and Draven and was stunned at the third POV added (no spoilers but omg).
My biggest take though is that I wanted "more". More character development, more chapters, etc. Just more in general. While I appreciate every fantasy book not being 700+ pages, I felt like the shortness of this one hurt it a lot. All the big reveals and deaths and plot twists were stacked right after another so the impact wasn't as meaningful as I hoped it would be. I barely could process one event when another one was happening which kind of downplayed the previous events. I was also hoping to see more character development with Morgan, the FMC. While her naiveté makes sense in the first two books because of how sheltered she was and her age, I was expecting her to stop making reckless decisions and begin thinking more rationally but instead of that, she just kept getting more and more power as her development which kind of felt like giving a child a gun and not teaching them where the safety is. Occasionally she would do or say something very mature and profound but then turn around and do something that drove me crazy. Of course she is still pretty young (early 20s?) but I thought after all she went through and being with Draven would have matured her up more.
I still love Draven and seeing him be more paternal in this one was adorable. I do like how much he's on Morgan's side and how he supports her with anything she chooses to do.
The plot twist at the end was insane and honestly made up for some of my issues with the book but I still wished it was more drawn out. I still would recommend this series to people though! Overall it's a solidly good Romantasy that could have been even more amazing if it was a little longer!!

I laughed, cried, swooned, giggled, screamed, almost thru my kindle across the room, laughed & teared up again. This 4th and final book was a satisfying ending to a wonderful series. Filled with action, adventure, love, heartbreak & loss, this is a must read series. The character growth and love story of the main characters thru out the whole was beautiful. The magic, world building, twists & turns kept me invested until the end. I will miss these characters.

Whoa! This series finale is like a rollercoaster dipped in magic sauce! I mean, seriously, WOW! It's got everything from laughter to tears, with a side of 'I wish Draven was my hubby' thrown in (who wouldn't?). Morgan's growth is off the charts, staying true to herself but leveling up like a boss. And talk about feels – this book breaks hearts left and right, but every loss feels purposeful and hits you right in the feels.
If you're into King Arthur remixes, Fae folklore, and a big serving of love and friendship, this series is your jam! Each book gets better than the last, and the ending? Perfecto!
Knight of the Goddess wraps up the Queen of Roses saga in a whirlwind of adventure, secrets, and epic battles. Morgan and Draven, along with their crew, are on a mission to stop ancient evil from taking over, and boy, is it a wild ride! The world-building is so vivid you'll feel like you're right there beside them, dodging danger and uncovering forgotten truths.
And can we talk about the characters? Morgan is the epitome of kickass, fighting for justice and rocking those magical powers like a pro. And Draven? Total heartthrob with a side of golden retriever energy – swoon! Their chemistry is off the charts, and I'm already missing them!
But it's not just about the main duo – the whole gang is fleshed out and oh-so-real. Even the side characters shine bright, adding depth and flavor to the story. And the emotional rollercoaster? Get ready to bawl your eyes out, especially during Nightclaw's heroic sacrifice.
The action-packed finale had me flipping pages like there's no tomorrow, and those battle scenes? Pure adrenaline rush! Briar Boleyn totally knocked it out of the park with this one, weaving together history, fantasy, and heart-pounding action.
So, five stars and a standing ovation to Briar Boleyn for this epic conclusion! Can't wait to see what she conjures up next!

Ich mochte die gesamte Reihe sehr gerne! Toller schreibstil, leicht zu lesen und ein guter Plott 😊
Ich habe sie sehr gerne gelesen und konnte total gut folgen!

A perfect conclusion to this series. It broke my heart, put it back together just to break it again multiple times. Was totally worth it for the way things ended.
The story was action packed with twists and turns and I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

"Knight of the Goddess" is a captivating conclusion to the epic Blood of a Fae series by Briar Boleyn. Packed with adventure, magic, and profound emotions, this book takes readers on an unforgettable journey through a world where love and courage shine brightly against the darkness of ancient curses and looming threats.
The story picks up after the war that brought temporary peace to Camelot but left Morgan Le Fay and her companions facing a new, ominous danger. The looming evil threatens to unravel everything they've fought for, prompting Morgan and Draven to embark on a perilous quest to destroy powerful artifacts and unravel long-hidden mysteries.
One of the strongest aspects of this book is its richly developed characters. Morgan and Draven's love is not only a bond between mates but a force that defies time and fate. Their unwavering commitment to each other and to their allies is both inspiring and heart-wrenching, adding depth to every interaction and decision they make.
The quest to destroy the grail, the sword, and the spear leads to a series of thrilling adventures across kingdoms, each step revealing new challenges and revelations. Boleyn's world-building shines as the story delves into ancient prophecies, divine mysteries, and the enduring power of blood ties.
The narrative is skillfully paced, balancing intense action sequences with poignant moments of introspection and connection. Themes of sacrifice, redemption, and the enduring nature of love are woven seamlessly into the plot, resonating with readers on a profound level.
As the final book in the series, "Knight of the Goddess" delivers a satisfying and emotionally charged conclusion that ties up loose ends while leaving room for imagination and reflection. Briar Boleyn has crafted a masterful finale that will leave fans of fantasy and romance wholly satisfied. This book is a testament to the author's storytelling prowess and a must-read for anyone who craves a captivating journey into the realms of magic, destiny, and undying love.

ARC Review ✨📚 ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
🥀 Knight of the Goddess (4th book in Blood of Fae)🥀
I started this ARC journey A WHOLE ASS YEAR AGO👀 and I read every. single. book .😅
This series started out so strong. The story was incredibly unique, detailed and captivating. I found myself lost in the plot and entirely committed to the characters and their world. It was everything I look for in a romantasy series, and I found a new favorite author. Seriously, @briarboleynauthor is on the level of SJM, Laura Thalassa, Raven Kennedy, Scarlett St.Clair etc. if you love any of these authors you will thoroughly enjoy Briar Boleyn!
Tropes: fairytale retelling, dark prince, fae magic, romantasy, bad ass heroine, found family, and an adventure heavy plot. And plenty of 🌶️🌶️
❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
SPOILERS
Throughout the series we follow a young woman, Morgan Pendragon. We have watched her transform from a weak inexperienced girl to a powerful empress to be reckoned with. We have witnessed her many many losses of friends and family, and we have seen her create her own tightly knit group of misfits (or knights of the round table if you will 😉). In this final book we follow her on her confrontation of her true family - the descendants of the gods. To be honest, the first 1/3 of the book was painfully slow, the 2/3 of the book was amazing and action packed like the writing I love from Briar Boleyn. The last 3/3 was an absolute bomb shell that was incredibly tragic for the reader. It was a complete 180 and really didn’t make sense. The ending could have been epic but instead it created so much confusion I was just left with my mouth open and a blank stare. they had flashbacks from Morgan’s 1st life as Marzanna and apparently Draven had another life too? It just like created this loose web of a story that didn’t do the story justice. Because she drops this bomb and then everyone lives happily ever after? I’m dumb founded.
Love this series, love the author, but did not like this book at all 😭💔

It’s sad we’re on the last of the series. But fabulous as it’s been a brilliant series!
I’ve read them all & I really really enjoyed them.
Fantasy now my go to, an escape from my usual reads. It re wires me ready to read more.
This book definitely rewired me, all of them did.
Strong female lead, protective partner. Yeah you’ve read them but you gotta read this.

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜: 🌶🌶🌶
I quite enjoyed this book, and love how it fit in with the rest of the series.
I did have some small moments where I didn't feel a connection to the characters, and there were a couple of spots I felt a little lost, but, I also got quite teary a few times because of what the characters were going through.
I had so many questions going into this book, and plenty while reading it too, so I was very relieved once those questions started getting answered.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend this series for anyone who loves dark epic fantasy romance with fae, mortals, secrets, gods, magic, and fated mates.
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝑰 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕: Medra, fated mates, steamy romance, queer rep, revelations, battles, Arthurian re-imagining, found family

WOW. What. a. wild. ride. The amount of times I needed to grab my inhaler for this one?! Can’t even count. THE TWISTS. THE TURNS. THE SHOCKS. This entire series has been amazing, and this final installment was nothing short of incredible.
The amount of reveals in this book was so unexpected and completely satisfying. My emotions were all over the place while reading this one. Everything tied together so beautifully. I’m reeling now that it’s over, but I’m so happy to add this to my list of favorite series.
In the hopes of keeping this review spoiler free, I’ll end with one of my favorite quotes from Knight of the Goddess:
“I see forever with you by my side. Because long after these scars have faded away into nothing, I’ll still be standing beside you. You and I? We’re eternal.” 😭
Thank you so much to the author, Starwater Press, and NetGalley for providing an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review ♥️

I can’t even explain the hold this entire series had on me! Wow! What a perfect ending to the series!!
In this final installment of the Blood of a Fae series Morgan and Draven set off on a journey to find her father and end the bloodshed once and for all!
This book made me laugh and cry but all in all it was absolutely perfect!
I wish there was more just because I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters yet!
If you haven’t read Queen of Roses yet, what are you waiting for!?! This series in my opinion is Throne of Glass meets King Arthur and I wish I could give the whole series more than 5 stars!

Knight of the Goddess is book 4th and final book in the Blood of a Fae series.
This action packed dark fantasy romance is fantastic brutal, exciting and filled will evil enemies and fated mates. I thoroughly enjoyed this darker spin on King Arthur lore. I truly hate to see this series end I could barely put it down Nightclaw and Sunstrike are incredible and fierce. The Oxmoor battlecats are some of my favorite side characters. I will truly miss Draven and Morgan.
However, I can’t wait for the series The Once and Future Pendragon!!! I look so forward to more Arthurian adventures. I highly recommend this series.
