The final installment of the much awaited Camelot retelling. I was so excited to find out what happened with Morgan and Draven. I was excited to dive into this one. I loved learning more about nightclaw and Medra. But I did feel like some of the story wasn't fleshed out enough. I was confused about how the Gods came into play out of nowhere. It felt like a random surprise instead of something that shocked but made sense. I was also a bit confused after the battle as to what happened to Excalibur. Maybe I just missed that part but the other two seemed obviously destroyed.
On a more positive note. I loved the character conclusions and seeing the life being made despite the losses of friends and family. I loved the hero sacrifices that broke my heart. This felt completed with a nice little bow that left me satisfied with the ending.

Nope. I feel these are getting worse as the series goes on. I felt confused, corners were cut with the plot to try and wrap everything up in a neat bow, and the FMC I still don't like after 4 books.

This is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series! I am honoured to have been included in Morgan and Draven's journey from the beginning to the end!

This book was just as good as the others! Morgan regains her memories, we find out more about the history of the gods and the history of Morgan. We lose people and go through heartbreak, and at the very end, love saves the day.
I love these characters and watching them develop over the entire series was amazing! This finale ties everything up into a nice bow, the Kingdoms can begin to heal after the long and treacherous journey they've all been on!
This is a dark fantasy romance series, so please read the trigger warnings if you have any! (They're located towards the back because they may contain mild spoilers for the content of the book)
A huge thank you to NetGalley and Briar Boleyn for allowing me join Morgan and Draven on their journey! It's been a pleasure.

Knight of the Goddess is the final book in the Blood of a Fae series.
War is still on the horizon, so Morgan and Draven must go to help their allies fight the terrible foes. This leads to them travelling all over in the hopes of defeating Gorlois Le Fay and his other children.
This book to me way longer to read than it should have done. The first 60/70% of the book was really difficult to get into. There were a bunch of deaths of many important characters that I want expecting but it shouldn't have been surprising with this being the finale. I don't like how Crescent treated a certain someone either. The last part of the book is what made things better as there were some surprising things that were revealed, although it was also a little confusing to understand.
Overall, a great conclusion to this Arthurian retelling.

It was so bittersweet to say goodbye to this series, as I have absolutely loved it. This spin on the Camelot story sucked me in right away. Knight of the Goddess tied up so many loose ends as well as surprising me throughout. Definitely recommend!

I received a free copy of this book through NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series. I really enjoyed this book despite the pacing being inconsistent. There were areas where there's not a lot happening, and then all of the sudden it was too much going on. Much of the story was focused on Morgan, Draven, and their friends' adventure to find and fight Morgan's father - Gorlois Le Fay. As I've mentioned in the previous books, I really enjoy both Morgan and Draven as the MCs. They are both strong but vulnerable, and I really appreciate how nuanced their characters are. The rest of the characters were just as relatable and I hated seeing anything happen to any of them.
I thought that the series was neatly tied up. The reveal at the end of the book took me by surprise. I'm sure there were hints throughout the series, but honestly I read for entertainment. I'm not one to dig too deep into all the details of a story. Overall, I think it's a great series to read!

|| : All of the wise ones were gone.
Merlin. Caspar. Yes, even bloody Tyre.
There was no one to teach me how to shield my mind completely or to explain the dreamworld I visited when I closed my eyes - to explain just where it was, what it was. I knew only one other true dreamer. My mate. And I knew even he had struggled to fully block his dreams when his father had tried to use them to his own advantage.
So when I wound up in the exact place I didn't want to be, it should really have been no surprise.
I was an ignorant girl, just as Daegen had said, in many ways.
The cottage was ash and ruins now. : ||
The Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series, but the only book I have read so far.
Being new to the story I didn’t feel like I had missed three books before me as the author was talented enough to feed small snippets of the past into everyday events and thoughts, enough for the reader to be able to feel connected with the characters and feel the weighted history that came with them.
Immediately I became enthralled in the love story of Morgan and Draven before I realised this was drenched in Arthurian legends mixed with a different blend of other mythological creatures. There were old characters I loved but woven in an entirely new and modern way clashing against characters I had never heard of and in the middle of it all.. Three symbols everyone in the world, with a love of history and storytelling would know.
This is the book I never knew I needed! I'm still not sure my emotions have fully recovered, I felt like I rose and I fell with these characters, especially one element at the end that tore a piece of my heart. I'm not sure I'll ever get that back. But that is when you know you come across something special.
An author is someone who can place words on a page but a storyteller gives a piece of themselves with every character they make and map out. I saw that, in the small details, explaining the looks, the colour of certain things, the dreams were vivid, even the intensity was jumping off the page. I didn't feel like I was there with Morgan. I felt like I was Morgan.
Unlike other books that skips the ‘journeying’ part of characters paths (especially if they go on a long journey that is covered over two pages 🙄)
You are taken on an actual journey, with the characters evolving over time and not just that but the author even had time to think about after because what does come after the ending usually?
Questions. All I had was a smile.
Thank you so much to Briar Boleyn and publishers for allowing me to read this book through Netgalley where I have voluntarily offered my honest feedback.
I just reviewed Knight of the Goddess by Briar Boleyn. #BloodofaFaeSeries #NetGalley

I did not love this. There's a weird mix of nothing happening but also too much going on for anything to make sense. Bits and pieces of lore and world-building that you keep forgetting so nothing really makes sense.
The romance was mid. I didn't really like the main character and the love interest is just like every other mmc and doesn't really have any other personality traits other than being in love with the fmc.

This series was so good! The romance was so good and the world building and the story was very well written. I would highly recommend this book!

I have fallen in love with all of the characters along this epic 4 book journey. This was a very satisfying end to the series and these characters will always live rent free in my head.
You could say the plot was predictable, but that made it such an easy fast paced read, to confirm your suspicions. There was passion, friendship, determination, self sacrificing, and sad moments along the way to keep you guessing just enough.
I could not recommend this easy fantasy book and entire series enough!

I feel like Booktok is sleeping on this series!
This fourth and final book was amazing and felt bittersweet, knowing it was the end. I will absolutely be thinking about this story for a long time and have to re-read it all over again. There are so many mind blowing plot twists!! Absolutely amazing book!!

Thank you to Briar Boleyn and Netgalley and Starwater press for a chance to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.
I cannot believe it’s order. Writing this final review is incredibly bittersweet. My face is still wet with the tears I sobbed for the last however many pages.
Despite all the aforementioned sobbing, the ending was perfect for Draven and Morgan. I love them and I love their love.
Now that this is officially a completed series, I can wholeheartedly say YES! Read it!! There is no “second book slump” like so many series have. It’s amazing all the way through. The characters are lovable and dynamic. There are flying cats and giant, talking bearkins. There’s love, betrayal, friendship, found family, and of course a lot of tragedy. Due to this being a dark fantasy, always check trigger warnings and then jump in and ENJOY this masterpiece! I’ve already suggested it to multiple of my bookish friends! 🥀

Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series.
This book is the conclusion to Morgan and Draven's story and their quest to destroy the artifacts and destroy Morgan's father. After the Pendrath war, peace settles in Camelot, but Morgan and Draven face a new threat looming as an ancient evil emerges. They rush to aid allies, leaving a vulnerable family member behind. The quest to destroy powerful artifacts leads them on a perilous journey across kingdoms, unearthing long-buried secrets and confronting ominous prophecies.
I'm sad that this series is over. Not only do I really enjoy the characters in this series, but I love the addition of the creatures too. I want an exmoor! Something new in this book that I also really enjoyed was the perspective from the one family member that was left behind.
The world building was done really well and not too much or dragged out. I also really appreciated the author's writing. The author brings remarkably authentic characters to life, notably Morgan, a strong and determined protagonist fighting for justice and peace. Her evolving powers and the dynamic with the MMC Draven creates a compelling narrative that leaves readers eager for more, wishing for a glimpse into their happy ever after.
I would definitely recommend this series to romantasy readers, those that like King Arthur retellings, and badass heroines.
Thank you to NetGallery and the publisher for an e-arc.

If you haven't been reading the series you seriously need to start. This series has made me cry, scream, fill joy. It deserves so much hype. I flew through 1-3 just to get to this one. I was not disappointed! I loved everything about this series!

Wow!!🥰
Thank you Briar Boleyn for writing such an incredible series!! And thank you NetGalley for allowing me to have an ARC of the entire series! The Blood of Fae series has been such a great journey that I am sad to be at the end of. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and will be recommending it to everyone!! Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to dive into this world and breaking my heart in the best ending for this series! I will miss the story of Draven and Morgan🖤
Amazon and Goodreads!

We’ve reached the finale of the series and it’s just as full of danger as the other books. I enjoyed diving into the Arthurian (or no longer Arthurian) world of fae and magical beasts one last time, seeing the solidity in Morgan and Draven’s relationship after all of their turmoil, and watching them battle once more for their family, their friends, and their people. These two are the epitome of a power couple, for sure! We’re kept on our toes throughout and are once more travelling across the lands as Morgan seeks out the man who is attacking her dreams. I found the developments with Morgan’s niece to be a less pleasant part of the story though as we reach the end it’s clear why this element of the story was crafted in this way but to me it was quite jarring. In contrast the continuity of the bonds between Morgan, Draven and their friends is heartwarming and the loyalty inspiring and it was good to see them together again even if their journey was a difficult one. The series was neatly tied up at the end and the twists and turns were interesting.
I received a free copy of this book. All views are my own.

These guys have really been through it. I am glad to have a bit of closure and possibly (hopefully) a peaceful and relaxing rest of their lives. The series has been filled with action and adventure and the final book was no different.
I love Morgan and Draven for each other. They had that sweet devotion that we love from fated mates, as well as that hot passion 😉🫠
Thanks to #NetGallery and publisher for a copy of this book.

Thank you NetGalley and Starwater press for the chance to read this book!
I was so sad when this book fell flat. I feel like it wanted to wrap everything with a little bow and cut corners with the story. It does conclude the story with a happily ever after but the build up is horrible. It brings up a storyline I thought I'd never read again and it just threw me off the whole story and then it kind of just easily falls into place with no mention of the others left behind. I so wanted to love this series because book 2 was amazing and book 3 had great build up to an amazing ending but it didn't happen.

What a great end to the series! The cast of characters in the series is brilliant, with my particular favourites being the exmoors. The reveal at the end completely took me by surprise but it was brilliantly led up to. Excited to read whatever BB writes next!
