Thank you to NetGalley and Briar Boleyn for providing me with an eARC of Knight of the Goddess in return for my honest opinion. Please note I am also on the street team for Briar, but I have not let this bias the following review.
Knight of the Goddess is the epic conclusion to the blood of a Fae series. What an absolute journey this series has been. In summary, Camelot but make it fae and smutty haha. I've had to take a little minute to recover before completing my review because far out, this final book hurt me, too many times. I can picture Briar sitting there writing this book, wondering how she could cause chaos and pain, thought of several options, then decided to hit us with all of the painful options... You have favourite characters? Don't, you will be crushed. You think someone is safe because there's no way she would kill them off right? NOBODY is safe. *Spoiler* apart from Draven and Morgan, they get a HEA, but that's all I'm giving you. There was one certain death that had me SOBBING. I don't know if I have truly forgiven Briar for this death yet (I have even removed one star from my review for this one because I am really butthurt), I really don't want to spoil this one because it's really shocking but guys, have the tissues close by.
Ok I have had my rant now, back to the actual review.. The plot is really fast paced and there is lots of action happening at all times, you will not get bored. With the fast pace, I did struggle to keep up at times and in hindsight should have done a reread of the previous books to remember all the little easter eggs from previous books. There was a lot of reveals in this book and I think if i had of done the reread I wouldn't have been so suprised or confused at times, there is a lot of "ahh of course, just as I thought", and I was like "when? when did we think this?!" haha. Again this is on me though for not doing the reread.
I loved the addition of the new POV, I don't want to spoil anything but I thik this really helped explain what was going on back at Camelot and aided the reader in growing attached and emphasising to a new charater introduced in book three. There were lots of great momemnts with side characters, reuinions we had been waiting for and many heartbreaking scenes with some of my favourite side characters. One reunion is especially devasting andI'm not sure there was a resolution to something identified in this storyline, but I may have missed it. In my previous reviews of this series I have talked of my love of the exmoors.. Knight of the Goddess was no exception, I adore Nightclaw and Sunstrike so so much. I really loved one of the little surprises with the exmoors, but was VERY upset about another.. *Massive side-eye Briar* You know what you did!!
The spice.. Three words.. Throne room scene.. *chefs kiss* Also... Altar scene? No notes... The relationship with Morgan and Draven is top tier, I know in porevious reviews I have talked about my dislike for the use of "mate" in books, but I found it actually didn't bother me in this book! There were a couple of moments I found myself getting a little frustrated with Morgan and her lack of communication and empathy at times for Draven, there were moments were she seemed to just almost shut down and only focus on how things were affecting her, with no consideration of her mate. There were a couple of times when things really affected Draven and it took a hot minute for Morgan to realise that she was being a little self absorbed and needed to check in with Draven. To be fair there was a lot going on at all times, so one can be forgiven for being an emotional wreck, but please check in with your mate!
Overall an epic but gutwrentching conclusion to the Blood of a Fae series.

Over the first three books I fell in love with this world and these characters. I loved the aspect of found family in these books. I also have SO much love for the main animals in this book, two battle cats, Nightclaw and Sunstrike. If I’m being honest, I want my own battle cat.
This last book, Briar made it EPIC. There were scenes where I had to pace while I read it, scenes where I was sitting on the edge of my seat, scenes I was scared to keep reading because I could see what was coming, scenes that made me swoon, scenes that made me laugh, and as always scenes that made me cry. There was even a scene when I felt physically ill while reading it. As always with Briar, even when she makes you hurt, someone it hurts so good. My heart was broken a few times in this book but by the end I was smiling happy tears. Oh, and I cannot forget the spice, the spice scenes were freaking fantastic, the throne scene in this book was hotter than the one in Iron Flame. I won’t spoil it but another spice scene, it was a giant F you to one of the villains, and I LOVED it, I CLAPPED.
Draven will forever be one of my most favorite book boyfriends, he is perfection.
If you haven’t read this series yet, DO IT, you will not regret it. This will be a series I reread, I love it so freaking much. This book was the perfect ending to an amazing series. Bravo Briar.

The fourth and final book of the amazing Blood of a Fae series.
This was a wonderfully written Arthurian / old gods slanted adventure. Having been captivated through books 1-3, I eagerly dived into this one. Once again, without giving details away, Boleyn does not shy away from hurting key characters. It adds a grittiness and depth to the writing style allowing you to hurt alongside the Draven and Morgan. Also in this style of writing, the author does not end the story by typing all the ends up in a 'sweet' package. The characters still have hurts and sad memories and know that it will take effort to have happiness again - just like life!

I can’t believe the series is over😭
There were so many plot twists I didn’t see coming and completely blew my mind. While I did sob, I’m still really happy with how Morgan and Draven’s story ended.
I would absolutely love to come back to this world and see the characters again, even if it was just a brief cameo. Here’s to hoping that happens!🤞
If you’re a romantasy lover, you need to add this entire series to your tbr!
Thank you to NetGalley and the author for sending me a copy to review!

Knight of the Goddess by Briar Boleyn 🌹
Overall Rating: 3/5 ⭐
I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by this book. I enjoyed this series a lot for the first three books, but I think this one fell a bit flat for me. There was so much happening and it felt like maybe some of it should have been spread out into the earlier books.
I got stuck part way through the book and just felt a bit less invested than I had for the other novels in the series. I had to take a few breaks but eventually read it all. That being said, I enjoyed the ending and felt it redeemed the book somewhat for me.
Overall, I think this series is a worthwhile read! Lots of great characters, and an interesting story.

Thank you so much for allowing me to read this series! I absolutely loved the series and can’t wait to see what else you decide to write. This is absolutely going to make it on my favorite series list!

Great book! My favourite of the whole series so far! The pacing of the book was perfect, I found I couldn’t put the book down! I do wish we could have had more time building up to the deaths of each character and a little bit of time to digest what happened before moving on with the story but that’s just me!

What an incredible ending to a fantastic dark fae fantasy series. Briar Boleyn created such a magical world, still expanding the reader’s understanding of it in this final book of the series. Knight of the Goddess might just be my favorite of the series yet with the trials and revelations made by the FMC and the twists and turns i did NOT see coming. I appreciate Briar’s writing style in this book just as the others and think she truly nailed the plot and ending (no spoilers but the way your heart will feel at the end of this book, worth it!). Thank you to Net Galley for the ARC and I can’t wait to see what is next for Briar Boleyn.

Such a wonderful way to close out the Blood of a Fae series! The series as a whole was surely entertaining and amongst one of my favorites!
In this final installment, we have most of the original characters plus a few new ones from Morgan's past life (her original family! Gasp!) There are also more truths and revelations, more battles, both internal and external, and more overall action. I loved the character development- almost every character has grown by the end of this story, especially Medra lol.
A great read, one that I'd highly recommend!
Thank you NetGalley and Briar Boleyn for such a wonderful read!

Fourth book in the Blood of a Fea series.
In the concluding installment of the bestselling Blood of a Fae series, peace settles over Camelot after the Pendrath war. Yet, a looming darkness threatens this newfound tranquility. Morgan Le Fay and Draven must heed the call to battle, leaving their cherished kin in trusted hands.
Their quest: to vanquish the ancient evils embodied by the grail, sword, and spear. Amidst perilous journeys and long-forgotten mysteries, they unearth secrets with devastating implications.
Bound by a love transcending time and fate, Morgan and Draven face a darkness that tests their very essence. It's not merely eternal; it's divine.

Knight Of The Goddess is the epic conclusion to the Blood of A Fae series. This book had everything from magic 🪄, action, adventure, spice (3/5🌶️), romance, and a shocking plot twist near the end of the book. In this final installment we learn more about Morgan Le Fay and the background of her past.
I loved following Morgan Le Fay’s (Pendragon) journey from the first three books. The way she came a long way from a princess in a Queen of Roses 🥀 and grew into her own as an Empress (or Queen) in Knight Of A Goddess🗡️👑 I also love seeing how Morgan and Draven’s relationship grew throughout the series. From enemies-to-lovers, they learned and how far their love and trust really goes.
I highly highly recommend this series if you love any SJM books, From Blood and Ash, and Powerless. It was so entertaining to read. Also, all characters and plot are inspired by Arthurian legend (not a retelling).

Thank you, NetGalley, Briar Boleyn, and Victory Editing for granting me the opportunity to read and review this series.
Knight of the Goddess takes place following the aftermath of the war at Pendrath and its surrounding kingdoms. Camelot is rebuilding and doing what they can to salvage the kingdom and foster a new sense of peace, however, peace still evades Morgan and her friends. What no one else knows is there's still a formidable foe out there biding their time to bring a new wave of darkness and destruction, and it's up to Morgan to stop it. But, she's not alone. Her companions are ready to fight alongside her to beat this force.
As Morgan and Draven race to aid their allies, with their trusty friends in tow, they are forced to leave behind their youngest and most vulnerable family members and trust their care in others' hands.
As the pending war takes them across kingdoms and toward a darkness like never before, Morgan and Draven are also faced with the quest of destroying the ancient three artifacts - the grail, the sword, and the spear - beware the dread curse of Three.
Together they uncover truths long lost to the past. Truths so dark and twisted, they never saw them coming, But their bond and their love go beyond being forged in blood, they're eternal, and they hope it's enough.
This book was FANTASTIC, definitely my favorite in the series! It wrapped up the whole story so beautifully. The action kept me on the edge of my seat in each scene. The love shared in this book, both romantic and familial was so great it warmed my heart! However, I felt the tragedies so deeply. I laughed and cried so much throughout this series, which to me is a good sign, it means I was invested in the characters and what happened.
I HIGHLY recommend this series. It's a wonderful fantasy series that keeps you engaged but doesn't overcomplicate things with a million characters and so much going on you can't keep it all straight.

I was so immensely excited for this ARC, as I fell in love with the story from Queen of Roses which has only grown through the series. The series is a linear timeline, meaning each book picks up where the prior book leaves off. With this being the final book of the series, it starts off diving into the wake of the turmoil left from the previous book.
Initially I was worried the story would drag on like finales can sometimes do, but I found the continuation of the relationships and plot to be engaging. The story kept surprising me and going in different directions then I was anticipating, and while I would love to keep in the world of Morgan and Draven, I was happy with how the story played out.

It’s so bitter sweet that this series has come to an end. It was such a great way to wrap up Korgan and Draven’s story. I love their love and the companionship they have. Also, they wouldn’t be who they were without all the amazing side characters to help them through everything.
I also wasn’t expecting all the revelations to unfold the way they did and it was still an amazing ride.

"But with love, there was strength. Love held us up and kept us from falling. When we found it, we clung to it and we never let go. Love made us strive to be better than we were. Love lifted us. Love carried us . Love made our flaws forgettable. Love was our saving grace. Love was the greatest adventure."
I devoured the first three Blood of a Fae books at the end of last year and I could not wait for this to release and it did not disappoint. We dive straight back into where Empress of Fae ended, with Morgan being determined to save her people from the threat that looms. She is devastated by the losses in the battle that had preceded and is being coerced into ruling when she doesn't want to. Is there a way for her to save the ones she loves without sacrificing herself to the evil that wants her power? Again, Morgan shows the growth that her character has undergone and you admire her strength when she has to make difficult decisions. My heart softened seeing Draven with Medra and Briar captures Medra's turmoil and emotions so well, that you can not help but want to hold her tight.
Again, this conclusion does not hold back on heartbreaking moments which utterly devastate you. I'm convinced that Briar takes a bit of pleasure in running our emotions through the wringer. I had actual tears in my eyes during certain scenes.
Thank you Briar for sharing these beloved characters and their journey with us. I eagerly look forward to anything else that you write!
Pick this up for an epic fantasy journey, you will not regret it
Thank you to Netgalley and Starwater Press/Victory Editing co-op for the opportunity to have closure on this excellent series. I loved every moment of it

It is a bit bittersweet finishing this book as it brought an end to this series. I just discovered it earlier this year but I binged the first three books in anticipation of the final one. I love the relationship between Morgan and Draven. They are so good for each other. One thing I was upset about was there didn't seem to be any resolution for the Siabra curse. I feel like that would have made the HEA better. Beyond that there is quite a bit of death in the last bit of the story so it does get a bit heavy. I didn't expect how the final fight would be won so it was quite the shock how it turned out. All in all this series was a fresh take on the Arthur legend and I was so glad I had the chance to read it. Can't wait to see what the next Pendragon series is about.
Rating 4.5 stars
*I received a review copy from NetGalley for my voluntary and honest review

This is the last book in the series, and I was really happy when I was given a chance to read it. Thank you to the author and publishers for that. I had some mixed feelings when reading it. I loved the chemistry between Morgan and Draven and how much Morgan has grown since the last book. The plot was also good, but at times I felt lost. It was like some parts were missing information, or I just didn't catch it. At times, I also felt that some parts were rather rushed, making it a bit confusing. All in all, it was still a good ending to the series.

Okay so I was devastated that this was over but then I found out she's writing a new crossover series with a MMC that's giving Draco Malfoy energy and characters from Blood of a Fae may appear, so there's hope I'll get to see Draven again!!! There was so much going on in this book and of course it was amazing but none of that matters because finally Morgan and Draven are together, she's not fighting their bond anymore and it was everything I could have wanted

Briar Boleyn has delivered on an epic conclusion to this amazing series. It is truly one of my all-time favourite series.
I loved the last book and I was wondering how Boleyn was going to top that for the final book. I don't want to give spoilers but the plot is truly worthy of being the conclusion to this fantastic series.
There were just two things that knocked this down to four stars for me. It's difficult to explain too much about why without giving spoilers. One was that I was not prepared to cry as much as I did. Some people don't mind that too much but I didn't want this book to be quite this upsetting to me. The other thing was that although the conclusion was epic, some of the information came slightly out of nowhere for me. This may just be me though. I do wonder whether there are actually hints that I just didn't pick up on. So this opinion may change when I reread the series.
I adore the cast of characters in this series. I'm actually really sad that the series has ended and that I have to say goodbye to them. It's rare that I get so attached to characters. Although, I am hopeful that they may make an appearance in Boleyn's next related series.
This whole series is amazing. It's easy to read and so gripping. As I repeatedly say, I don’t understand how more people aren’t talking about this series! Please add it to your TBR if you haven't already.
Thanks to NetGalley, Starwater Press, and Briar Boleyn for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Briar did it again. This book perfectly wrapped up this beautiful Arthur/Camelot retelling. Our Main characters showed wonderful growth throughout the book and their love story was beautiful and also quite spicy. It was great to see Morgan finally come into her own after all she had been through in all the books. As well as Draven staying there with her for all of the ups and downs. I highly recommend this series to all my romantasy girlies!
