An incredible final instalment in the awesome fantasy series! Loved how this finished off the series and gave such satisfying closures. This series will do well in most fantasy romance readers circles

Thank you to netgalley and Briar Boleyn for letting me read the arc for free.
So... this was a quite a wild ride... I can't say I've read many Arthurian retellings. But from the ones I've read, this series is the best.
Knight of the goddess is the final installment in Blood of a Fae series. I didn't wanna say goodbye to this series. But alas.
Morgan now has to rule Pendrath until Kaye awakens, but she also must bring an end to the 150-year-long conflict. With the help of their friends, Draven and Morgan will face off against the High King of Valtain in this final battle.
The series couldn’t have ended more perfectly. There were so many unexpected twists that I could never have imagined. The tears I shed at the end. Why!!! Why does this always happen to good people!!!
My favourite part of the book, the end.
"I just want you. Tell me I can have that, Morgan.”
"You can have that,” I whispered. “For eternity.”
I was honestly shocked when there was a POV for Medra. How can a weeks-old baby have a point of view?

Oh my goodness...I do not want to say goodbye to this. What an ending.
Through-out this entire series Briar Boleyn has really outdone. The romance, the broodiness, the character growth, the world building, just amazing! I really enjoyed the pace of this final part of the series, wasn't to fast and didn't leave me feeling like it was taking forever to get through it at any point.
The Blood of a Fae has been absolutely a roller costar ride of emotions, I have laughed, cried, and felt the joy that these characters have felt. I am so grateful for being able to ARC a series that has quickly become a favorite read. The adventure has been one that I will re-read time and time again.

Book 4 brings us on another epic journey after Morgan, Draven and a group of their friends take off to destroy the grail, sword and spear AND Morgan's father, Gorlois.
The final book in the Blood of a Fae series left me wishing I had read everything a little slower or taken notes. The world building and characters are so in depth I found myself having to check back because I was going WAIT WAIT WAIT a lot with all the connections and tying together! This is for sure a series that deserves a re-read so you can make all the connections all the way back to book 1!
I only wish that we could see a little more of Morgan and Draven HAPPY without something monstrous looming on the horizon. I suppose that's part of what makes this a dark romance.

Big thanks to NetGalley for access to this book in exchange for an honest review.
Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series. We follow Morgan as she and her closest companions embark on a quest to destroy powerful artifacts and put an end to the kind of the fae once and for all.
I was very happy to see Morgan and her friends relationships being repaires and growing stronger. She and her mate not only have become closer as a couple but stronger as a team and more powerful than ever. This is probably the most emotional book in the series in my opinion.
We get an additional point of view in this story that we have bot had before and it helps to tie the while series together. I think the author did a great job using pieces of all the previous books to end this story in epic form.
While this last book wasn't my favorite in the series, I really did enjoy this book and I would definitely recommend this series to other fantasy readers. I would also be open to reading more from this talented author.

Thank you to NetGalley and Starwater Press for the advanced reader's copy of this book!
The fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series, Knight of the Goddess, was a satisfying end to Morgan and Draven's story. The plot moved at a decent enough pace to keep me reading and the multiple POVs always a plus for me.
Overall I did enjoy the series, but the last two books were my least favorites. The final third of the book seemed rushed. I did appreciate all the subtle foreshadowing leading up to some of the "twists", but the final battle and new storyline fumbled at the finish line for me. I felt like there were lots of other avenues that could have been taken that would have made the ending more satisfying.
I'm glad I read the series, and I have recommended it to a few fellow book readers, but wished I would have enjoyed the ending more.

3.5 stars!
I really enjoyed this conclusion to the series and I devoured it so quickly! I loved the plot and twists in this one, and did not see the ending coming at all. I loved how powerful Morgan and Draven are - separately and together - and how connected they are in this book after being separated previously. I would loooove to get more POV from Lancelet and Guinevere and would for sure read a Novella about these two!
I did feel like this book could have been more 'epic' if we had been able to be more immersed in the battles and conflict, as these did seem to start and finish quite quickly (especially the final showdown at the end). I would have liked Medra to be more fleshed out too, so that we could really connect with and feel invested in her. This would have made the ending all the more powerful.
I really recommend this series if you enjoy enemies to lovers, powerful Fae, Arthurian lore, dark magic, gods/goddesses, spicy romance, found family and mythological creatures. I've loved my opportunity to read this series in exchange for an honest review - thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing for providing me with the digital ARCs!

Stop it, I cannot believe I finished this series. 😭 Truly, an absolutely breathtaking fantasy series. The journey Briar takes you on through out each book. I loved her unique take on the Arthurian Legend. I absolutely adored all of our characters - they had their flaws but, they were real and true to themselves.
This was the perfect ending, once again so many plot twists I did not see coming. We lose some beloved characters on this quest and you'll feel every bit of that loss as much as our other characters do.
Morgan and Draven have my entire heart and soul. They are the definition of soul mates. I loved their journey, the ups and downs, their banter and fighting. How they both fought for each other but, also stepped aside because they knew the other was capable. They were equals and I loved that.
If you want a fantasy series with epic quests, insane world building, magic, fae, deadly trials, characters that you will love and a series that will make you cry, laugh, blush, and feel anger - I cannot recommend this enough.
I'm excited to see where Briar takes this world in her next series that is a new series set in this same world with some of our characters making appearances cause I'm not truly ready to let go of them yet. 😫🖤

Oh my! What a ride this final book was!
I have to say, the world building was amazing, there are so much more than I would’ve expected! There are so many plot twists that I didn’t see coming and so many truths are revealed.
This conclusion was kinda bittersweet because there are so many deaths and so much sacrifice involved! One particularly broke me down, I truly wasn’t ready for it.
But there are so many beautiful things found along the way! Eternal love, found family and true friendship. Morgan also found herself along the way and grew so much and the other characters too!
I’m sad to leave this universe but I’m happy to have read such a great saga.
Thank you NetGalley , Starwater Press and Briar Boleyn for this series!

This is the last book in a series I have truly enjoyed every moment of, so doing a review of it is a bittersweet moment for me. Throughout this book, I found myself turning pages eagerly anticipating what would happen next. Despite this, it was also a tough one for me to get through, mainly because it was the end. It was intensely heartbreaking and suspenseful throughout this book. It was an unexpected ending, I wasn't prepared for it. I definitely recommend the series to anyone! A big thank you to NetGalley, Starwater Press, and Briar Boleyn for providing an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for allowing me to read and review the final book of this series.
In this final installment, Morgan, Draven, and the "crew" as I like to call them must leave the adorable baby Medra behind to find Morgan's father and defeat him once and for all. Unfortunately for Morgan and Draven, Medra's power is so great that her growth has accelerated and must learn of the prophecy much too soon.
He is a powerful force. Inching his way into her dreams, sending her siblings after them in gruesome fights, and attempting to accrue all three objects of untold power. The Spear, the Sword, and the Grail. Morgan knows she must destroy all three, but to do so, she needs the help of her Aunt's.
Three POVs this time. Morgan, Medra, and Draven.
What a bittersweet ending. I don't think it could have gone any other way.
My review is also on Goodreads. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/200411836-knight-of-the-goddess

Oh wow! This was a great ending to the series. I loved how the author kept surprising us throughout the entirety of the book. Well done.

The finale to this 4 book series was absolutely mind blowing. The way that we find secret after secret out. Everything I thought I knew going into this story had my head on a swivel. I am absolutely floored by how amazing this story is!

3.5/5
A good way to end this series. I enjoyed reading the final book, though there was a lot of heartbreak throughout. I do feel like some of the explanations of characters were rushed or not fully explained.

Knowing this was the last book I really tried to savor it. This one had my heart breaking so much. This entire series has been a joy to read, and Im so sad its ending.
This fascinating Fantasy Romance is Book 4, in the Blood Of A Fae Series.
The romance is this book is pre established from the previous books, and full of utter devotion towards one another.
The book does have several spicy scenes that are written intimately. Although there isnt a ton of spice, there is enough to keep you satisfied. The books plot really takes the focus of the book.
The book moves at a quick pace following the MCs as they travel to battle their enemy, and hopefully defeat them. The journey is full of battles, losses, found family, and self discovery.
The characters are amazing just as they are in the previous books. There are a few characters that have been in the shadows, as well as some very important new characters introduced.
The world building remains beautifully complex while adding in some new additions as the FMC learns more about who she really is.

Thanks for Netgalley and the author for providing me with this arc.
Knight of the goddess is the last book in this series.
I really loved to look back and see how much each of the characters changed and developed over the four books and how they reacted to the things that happened to them. I still adore the twists the author did to the Arthur-story. The real plot twist wasn't shocking though.
I think altogether it was a satisfactory ending but I wish we'd have gotten a bit more info - I wanted to know more about what happened to Rychel, the curse, the Valtain in General. There were still a few open threads.
The one POV that was added could've been solved otherwise in my opinion and just felt as if it was there to bring the solution to a hole the author digged herself in.
Writing wise the style didn't change from before. It was easy and relaxing to read.
The series was a nice read and I sure will look into the new book the author has coming!

NOTE: I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.
Again, please do check the triggers warning list as this could be hard for some readers.
Pendrath is now at peace and tries to help rebuild its neighbouring kingdoms, and their trust as well. Morgan and Draven can't apparently rest and focus on their family and friends. They must leave to save the whole continent.
This final book wraps up beautifully the whole series. The author has done it again: fast pace and high stakes, the best fury companions, the banter is on point, the side characters were just perfect!
I would read an entire series on the bearkins and exmoors. I loved them!
It shows that the world building and character development was nicely done throughout the previous books as we were not confused because of too much new information.
I enjoyed the different POVs and see the world under Medra and Morgan's POV. To witness how Medra sees the world and how fast she grows... Her inner turmoil is very relatable: as a mama with a preteen, it gives me weirdly an insight on what might going on in my own kid's mind.
On a negative side, I feel like most of the allies deaths were unnecessary or felt rushed, how an emotion like grief, while mentioned, didn't come through as much as it should have... The sex scenes were cringey at best, this animalistic side of Draven felt a little unnatural. I felt like the final battle between Gorlois and Morgan fell flat. I was expecting something more epic.

Briar Boleyn has done it again!
Thank you so much for this ARC, I thoroughly enjoyed binging it in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down.
I don’t want to say goodbye to these incredibly developed characters and this rich and fleshed out world.
Thank you for your addition to the romantasy genre, this series deserves so much more hype and popularity!!

Book 4 in series
In this final book of the series we see Morgan facing off against her enemies with the help of her mate, the gorgeous Draven and their most trusted friends.
We also get to experience her niece, Medra’s point of view which gives an interesting twist to the story. Although there is a lot of thrilling action, you need to be prepared for utter heartbreak. The storyline is very good but at some point things seem to go a little downhill, especially with Medra’s part of the story which would have been amazing if things went in a different direction.
I feel the ending could have been better as the utter carnage left me with a hole in my heart. Overall it was a fantastic twist on a King Arthur retelling and I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good romantasy.
This book does have trigger warnings so please take note of that.
A huge thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this e-copy in exchange for this honest review.

This was a great conclusion to the series and included a plot twist that went far beyond what I had been anticipating. The character growth of Morgan and Draven from the first book to the end of the fourth is so amazing. I loved that we got to see so many different view points from different characters this time around and am very excited to see what’s coming next from Briar.
