This reminds me of Freida McFadden books - very easy, popcorn read perfect for those who love unputdownabble thrillers!

I really enjoyed this book, quite an easy to read, psychological thriller.
I liked how it was told from 2 view points. This added to the build up.
Good ending, no questions left unanswered.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great read with suspense building throughout leading to some good twists. I enjoyed this book and it kept me guessing throughout.

I really enjoyed Kate Ruby’s previous novel Tell Me Your Lies which had an original and interesting plot.
I found it harder to engage with Everything You Have as it felt less original with more of a familiar plot. When Jenna is employed by Sasha as her assistant she soon makes herself indispensable and the reader isoon realises that neither woman is exactly what they seem.
The novel is well written and gives some good insights into class, privilege and relationships at work. However I wasn’t drawn to either of the main characters who are not particularly likeable. It felt like a plot I’d read before and for me lacked any suspense.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this digital ARC

Thank you to Netgallery and the publisher for this ARC. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and now I’m a fan! This book had it all twists and turns to empathy for both characters and everything else in between.

I liked both characters in this book and wow what an ending I didn’t see that coming! 😊 I’d highly recommend this book.

Everything You Have is the second novel from TV producer Kate Ruby and it is crying out to be made into a TV drama- it has all the elements that are destined to make this a success.

Sasha is a successful senior marketing executive in her 40s living a very comfortable life with husband Steven and his two teenage children in North London. She is desperate to have a baby of her own but countless IVF rounds havent worked - is this the end of the road?

Jenna is a young new employee in Sasha's company, starting at the very bottom of the ladder in a bid to make her way up the corporate ladder. She is employed as Sasha's assistant and quickly makes herself invaluable to Sasha, learning her personal likes and dislikes as well as all the tricks of the trade. She is desperate to ingratiate herself with Sasha, starting early, working late, all to keep her boss happy. We know that there's an ulterior motive but what is it?

In the meantime, Sasha can't believe her fortune at finding Jenna, who is such a brilliant assistant and is rapidly turning into a confidante. She relies on Jenna to give a younger perspective on the marketing campaigns, using her as a sounding board in and out of work. She's also encouraged Jenna to befriend her stepdaughter Georgie, to try and strengthen the relationship between Sasha and Georgie.

As the story develops, the obsessive relationship between the two protagonists gets tighter and tighter; Sasha is using Jenna for more each day, and as she gets isolated in her work life, she looks to Jenna as her ally and sounding board. At the same time, Sasha is still pursuing motherhood options, and her concentration is pulled in numerous different directions all the time, as she tries to find a way to achieve all of her dreams before time runs out.

The tension escalates as the story progresses. We know that Jenna is after something, and we know from Sasha's story that everything is going to come to a head and secrets are going to be spilled.

The pace is perfectly pitched, the story-telling is gripping and the twists in the tale are absolutely delicious. I would watch this in a heartbeat.

Jenna starts a new job as a creative assistant to Sasha. Sasha seems to have it all but underneath she is reaching breaking point but finds the answer to her prayers hiring Jenna, who does everything to help. Soon boundaries become blurred and things start to unravel.

This was an enjoyable work place drama filled with obsession and characters that rub you up the wrong way. I found the exploration of the power and class divide interesting and enjoyed that the story was explored using both voices of Sasha and Jenna. The characters and plot is well written and I found enjoyment in seeing the characters true personalities slowly come to light. I also found the setting being based in a branding agency interesting and different to the usual work place thrillers. I did find this was a slow burn and then pace dipped by the half way point, however I enjoyed the way it was written and the majority of the story. 3.5 stars rounded up. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this copy in return for an honest review.

Thanks to NetGalley for this book.

It was a very enjoyable read, I was hooked all the way through although I did figure out where the story was heading mid way through.

I felt the story was predictable but i gave it an extra star as it was very well written. The emotional journey that Sasha goes through was something I can personally relate to and sometimes the author took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes.

I would definitely read more by this author

Thank you

Sasha Fulton seems to have the perfect life, the glamorous career, the handsome husband, the beautiful home - but she is holding alot of spinning plates in the air and as she becomes more and more strained she leans on her assistant Jenna more and more. But is Jenna really helping her or is she the one throwing more plates into the air to derail Sasha's life? Sasha starts to get suspicious but how far will she go to uncover the truth? Really good real. Thrilling, pacey and great twists

With touches of ‘Single White Female’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ I knew pretty much on starting this that it was going to be a book for me

Sasha is the ‘have everything’ whilst Jenna is the ‘has nothing’ and as their worlds collide and become one we realise there is maybe more to them both than meets the eye but beware of red herrings and feelings you have worked it out,I smugly went through most of the book thinking I had nailed it,I hadn’t

I LOVED the writing,it’s that descriptive type where a piece of carpet is made to sound enticing and every feeling and thought is described deliciously, when this is done well it’s the best reading for me and this is done very well

All characters have infuriating bad sides and traits but all also have another side that makes you reassess them

I really enjoyed the look into the branding world and how it is evolving in the modern era and how trying to make a branding campaign for something ‘the youth’ think obsolete goes, fascinating and great insight from the author

A true pleasure to read and expect to see a version of it on our screens

Sorry to say that this book wasn't for me! The writing wasn't terrible and there was nothing particularly bad about it but it was very forgettable. It just felt like eavesdropping on office drama - there was nothing gripping about it, the "plot twist" fell flat, I'd be willing to try something else written by the author but this book really wasn't my cup of tea at all.

Sasha is a successful 40 something with a high-powered job, a loving husband and two stepchildren. She would like to have her own baby with her husband, but is having difficulty conceiving.
Jenna moves from Stoke to London to become Sasha's assistant and soon makes herself indispensable to her life. The story is told from the perspective of Sasha and Jenna, who both see their interactions in a different light. Both women have secrets that they don't want revealed and Jenna has her own agenda. I enjoyed this book, fast paced with lots of twists. Recommended.

Overall this was an enjoyable read. I like a work-based thriller, so I particularly enjoyed Jenna and Sasha's interactions in the office. I thought the class divide was highlighted well, and both characters had their positive traits and negative ones, so it was difficult to decide whose side I was on! The writing style was nice to read.

The pacing for me was a bit off, I feel like the story dragged in places, but then the ending was very rushed with quite a few unanswered questions (who was Paul for example?)

I did enjoy this book but it didn't completely blow me away. I would give it 3.5 stars rounded up for the fact that it kept me invested.

The blurb tells you what to expect but it doesn't tell you that this is a really engrossing read.

Sasha has everything anyone could want, she's successful, she's brilliant at her job and she has a loving husband. The only thing she wants, however, is a baby. After many cycles of treatment she wants to try again.

Jenna doesn't have anything anyone would want but she doesn't care, she IS going to work for Sasha at Bright, the top marketing company she works at.

I really like this book, it wasn't hugely dark and it wasn't heavy but it kept me interested and I liked the characterization.

I think this will be perfect for any thriller readers that need a little bit of breathing room (book hangover approved!)

I received this ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review, which this is.

Thank yo Netgally for this E-Arc

I think this book will appeal to many readers—it's fast-paced and full of sharp observations.

For me, the main characters didn't feel particularly real, so I found it hard to care about their outcomes. While there are insightful comments on money, class, and the struggles of being young in the media industry, I couldn't get past how unpleasant every character was. In the end, their lack of likability made it tough for me to stay invested in their stories.

when jenna gets a job as an assistant for a powerful woman called sasha is everything as it seems ?

as the story unfolds the two women develop a strange obsession with each other, and the audience realises neither women are who they claim to be.

as much as this is a page turner, this feels like the typical thriller / mystery but it is still an enjoyable read.

Two women become obsessed with each other and neither is who they say they are leading to a tale filled with plenty of twists and turns that keeps you interested enough to want to keep reading. The ending was abit rushed for me but it was a good read overall.
This will be a great summer read not to heavy and easy to get into.
Thanks to Netgalley and Simon and Schuster UK for the ARC.

I think this book will appeal to many people - it's pacy and is full of sharp observations. For me, neither of the main characters rang particularly true so I struggled to care about what happened to them. There are some smart observations about money, class and being young and trying to survive in the media industry but in the end, I found every character so unpleasant I didn't really care what happened to them.

This is quite similar in themes to Precious You, The Rival and The Temp. A younger assistant to an older woman infiltrates her life and causes chaos. Narrated in dual narrative, Everything You Have was absolutely gripping. I was immersed and compelled through and through, unable to turn the pages fast enough. An office politics suspense read is one of my favourite tropes in the psychological suspense genre and this doesn’t disappoint. The prose and interiority of the protagonists is spot on, topically and so relatable and relevant. I found both characters equally engaging and empathetic. My only issue is that the twist happens far too late, and the ending felt rushed. I felt like Jenna’s backstory wasn’t fleshed out enough and the revelation of her hatred towards Sasha wasn’t convincing enough, feeling a bit cliched. Personally I didn’t find Jenna insidious enough and in the last few chapters her character completely changes. Plus Sasha’s pregnancy storyline got repetitive. A weak ending aside (for my taste) I did quite enjoy the office politics side of things and the relationships between the assistant and her boss.
