It started off quite well, it seemed like it was going to be an adventure book. But then when nothing much happened and when it got to the action it was told like this: 2:01pm he drove the car to the station, 2:06pm she got to the station, that's just an example.
I think it would've been good when it was first published but because of the Satanism ideas I couldn't take it seriously and felt that it just rambled on. I didn't finish it I read two books after stopping and gave up with it. Sad really as people have recommended it to me. Very religious in some places and I'm not so it wasn't a huge shock when they were trampling on the communion wafers. Disapointed as when it started I was riveted it just didn't carry on the way it started. I'm more used to modern horrors or psychological or old ghost stories.

Not my usual type of book. It's fast paced and not as scary as I expected it would be - in parts it just came across as silly and hammy. Whilst it is dated it's easy to read, some parts well written, but other parts are too long winded.
