Liza's Secrets by Iris Glazner Leigh is a suspenseful thriller set in the intriguing backdrop of Cape Cod. The plot is full of twists and keeps you guessing, while the pacing is steady. Fairly standard story,abused wife on the run from husband. Best characters were the two cats! Liza/Franny always looking over her shoulder,trying to start a new life.

Liza runs away from her husband and former life to hide out in Cape Cod. Will she be able to hide from her abusive husband ? or will her luck run out and he finds her? This book was more of a romantic suspense book then a thriller. Very chill book to read by the pool this summer. I enjoyed it !
