Daniella is a huge fan of the band, Black Halo. She feels like the song have helped her along various hard times of her life. So when the opportunity presents itself to see them live and meet the band members, she goes for it.

Xane is tired of the rock-star lifestyle. He doesn't know who to trust or what to do, especially now that he feels that his best friend and band-mate has betrayed him.

I liked the concept, especially Xane's struggles to cope with loving his best friend and losing him to someone else. I loved his honesty and his caring side too.

Daniella, well, it wasn't after the first half of the story passed that I got a sense of who she was and came to understand where she was coming from. I thought she made a good partner for Xane, who despite his celebrity status, just wanted some semblance of 'normal' in his life.

Madelynne Ellis did a great job of drawing me into the story by bringing two different people together. Their connection grew as the story progressed and I could easily see them in a relationship. Their interactions were entertaining and emotional, especially when they opened up about themselves to each other.

Of course, their chemistry was pretty great too. The sex was steamy and sensual, but most of all it they added to the story.

The secondary characters were a great addition to the story. Each one affected the story in one way or another and through their interactions with the main characters I discovered another side to them. I can't wait to know what's ahead for the band and its members now.

Come Undone served as a great start to the Rock Hard series. Usually not a fan of cliffhangers, I came to accept this one. I think there's a lot more story to be told, not only between Xane and Daniella, but about the band itself.

I received this title from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange of my honest opinion.
