I enjoyed this quick read about Taylor Swift, but felt it skimmed over a lot of detail. Some others in the series have felt more in-depth or had more of a narrative. That said, I adored the art style - the combination of delicate but visible linework, with a lovely pastel colour scheme that still managed to be vibrant, was very pleasing to me.

Read the book alongside my 7 year old daughter. We enjoyed learning about Taylor Swift's background and how she became famous. It was short and the perfect bedtime story.

I love all of Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara's books and I love Taylor Swift so there really is no surprise I absolutley love this book!

The artistry in this book is very cute and I loved seeing the story of little TayTay growing up into the star she is today. I'm not sure what reading level this is supposed to be aimed at but some of the wording might be too wordy for some littler readers. But overall I liked this snapshot into the making of Taylor Swift.

This books is such a cute way to learn about an artist you love or admire. I definitely recommend to any families with little swifties running around.

So I reviewed this for two reasons. One I am a MASSIVE Taylor Swift fan. I grew up along side her just like the story said. And, two I love getting pictures books about Taylor Swift to share with my two year old niece. I would 100 percent buy this one for my niece. Let’s start with I didn’t know Taylor’s grandmother was an opera singer. So as a fan since Fearless came out I learned something new. Other than the cover art, which is the only bad part of the book. The illustrations are good. I liked how it drew her as she got older. Also thank you who ever added the reputation era in the book. It is always overlooked. This was a cute, uplifting picture book any young swiftie would love. Also the timeline in the back was an added plus. And the drawing of Taylor sleeping with her cats was adorable. The illustrations had a lot of added details like pictures on the wall. It was appreciated. I also think this story has a good message for those who read it. Stand out, be kind, stand up for what you believe in and the only approval you need is your own.

This is a sweet book I would have in my classroom. It highlights Taylor Swifts early years. I enjoyed the way the book portrays Taylor as a young woman who pursues her dreams and chases her goals. All of that while being a grounded, down to earth human!

My little Swiftie absolutely adored this book, and I loved reading it with her! Beautiful illustrations, and a great book for littles that teaches about resilience and the importance of following your dreams!
