This is such a cute book for any Taylor Tots out there! The illustrations are well done and the information is all correct. I think it could definitely a bit longer but overall it’s a great read for young fans of Taylor Swift!

I got this on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!

I love this series of biographies for kids, and this was no different! Cute artstyle, nice range of information and different focus on Taylor Swift's life and accomplishments, and not too much text on each page.

The only thing that brings it down for me is that I always find that younger people, especially younger musicians, tend to interest me a little bit less since their life isn't done, you know? That is a lot of ME tho, so any young kid with a love for Taylor Swift or music in general will probably love it!

I always love reading these books! They are always beautifully illustrated and have great messages running through them.

I would recommend this book and the series in general anyone that has a young child as they are always uplifting and informative.

Taylor is such a megastar that it's easy to forget she began as an ordinary person! I loved this book for showing her real life alongside her musical success. Definitely a heroine for girls to look up to.

A great new addition to the series! I’m not a ‘Swifite’ but I found reading about Taylor’s rise to fame really interesting and the illustrations complimented the text brilliantly. This would make a great gift for any Taylor Swift fan or to inspire someone to follow their dreams.

This book was so cute! I read it with my 6 year old daughter and we both loved learning more about Taylor. I really enjoyed that it focused on her journey, her dedication to her mental health and being the best she can be, and how much she loves her fans. The illustrations were beautiful. This is a perfect book for little swifties.

In this series of picture book biographies, the format is similar to that of a fictional picture book. The story is told using paragraphs set onto each full spread illustration (which resembles watercolor). The text is also similar to that of a picture book story: “On a farm in Pennsylvania, surrounded by Christmas trees, lived a girl named Taylor.” Half of the text focuses on the subjects’ youth, the other half on their achievements as adults, which makes sense since most of them are fairly young. Containing just one short paragraph per page, this will be enjoyed both as a read-aloud and as a book younger school-age children can read on their own. Each book ends with b&w photos of the subject and a timeline pointing out significant achievements. Although this series isn’t ground-breaking it will fill a need for books on popular culture and includes ethnically diverse people as subjects and in the illustrations.

This was a cute story that I read with my grandson who earned an afternoon with Taylor Swift. We ate chocolate chip cookies, listened to her music, and then read this book about her book together. He was absolutely enchanted by the pictures and the story that told about things he didn’t know. I think his favorite thing may have been either the Christmas tree farm or the cowboy boots that she wore even though others didn’t.

Thank you to Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara, NetGalley, and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books of Quarto Publishing Group for the chance to read an early copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own (and my little guy’s).

My daughter loves Taylor Swift and knows lots about her so I thought I would read this and find out a bit more about Taylor.

This was such a lovely book with great illustrations and facts about Taylor. I loved the way it was set out and the addition of the timeline of Taylor’s life at the back.

A fab read for anyone who is a Taylor Swift fan.

Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for an advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I can't help but love the Big Dreams Little People series. Taylor Swift is such a great addiction to the collection. The illustrations are great, the little details and the information along with them are just great. I always look forward to reading this series.

This is so cute! It is the perfect way to introduce kiddos to an incredibly popular figure in music, and it tells it in a sweet way that will inspire kids to follow their dreams and their hearts.

This book was so cute! It was a sweet biography about Taylor Swift, designed for young people who may look up to her, and learn that they can achieve their dreams. It was so well illustrated, and her career was simplified enough to make it perfect.

A great look at Taylor Swift’s younger life for kids aged 4-8 and the various obstacles she overcame. Covers being picked on at school, not being successful at her first try to sign on with a record label, and how massive fandom taught her that the opinion that matters the most is hers - which are all major life lessons for kids today. I love how the illustrations also provide additional nods/Easter eggs for older readers and their parents who are more familiar with her and her albums. A really great book that will be a must have for little Swifties everywhere.

Great gift for young Swifties!

This is a cute little biography about Taylor Swift, with beautiful illustrations that are pleasing to Swifties of all ages. It documents her life from when she was a little girl, all the way up until present day circa 2023. It does a great job of capturing important milestones in Taylor's life, without going into unnecessary details (for example, the page about Reputation was artfully done).

One drawback for me was how the text and the art seemed to be targeting two different audiences. The story itself seems it would be better understood by older readers, whereas the illustrations seem to target much younger audiences. Also, as much as I loved getting to read about young Taylor, I do wish the book didn't skim over some of her most popular eras and the important lessons she learned from them. But I guess that's just the inner Swiftie in me talking.

All in all, this would be a great addition to little (and big) Swifties' libraries everywhere! Be on the lookout for it hitting your local bookstores on June 11, 2024.

Special thanks to NetGalley and Frances Lincoln Children's Books for sharing this digital e-ARC with me in exchange for my honest thoughts.

I'm not a Swiftie (not a hater) but I'm surrounded by people who LOVE Taylor. So this book gave me a little more detail on Taylor coz I had no idea her grandmother was an opera singer. the illustrations are definetly the highlight of the book because they capture the look of Taylor and are so eye-catching! 10/10 recommend!

This was done in a very cute and aesthetically pleasing way. It’s great for younger children who don’t know so much about Taylor Swift

My daughter and I are avid Swifties and huge advocates of the Little People, Big Dreams series, so when we discovered Taylor Swift was going to be one of the newest dreamers, we could barely contain our excitement!

This biography of Taylor starts when she was a little girl living in her family’s Christmas tree farm, and takes us through her introduction to music, writing her own songs, getting a recording contract, breaking endless records all while maintaining her love and empathy for others.

Just like Taylor loves to do, this book is full of Easter eggs any true fan will love to find. It made the whole reading experience that much better because we got to go back and keep rereading to find new tributes in the text and in the illustrations. We cannot wait to add the physical copy to our home library!

This book has the potential to inspire children all over the world to focus on their passions and follow their dreams. Swift is fun role-model, especially for girls and young women. Her story teaches us to follow our hearts and ignore the haters. My daughter is a life-long Swiftie and she confirms that the details in this book are accurate. The moral from the story is "to stand out, (we) need to find (our) own voices."

The illustrations were cute and also accurate. This picture book is appropriate for 6-10 year olds, but any Swiftie will enjoy it!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Taylor Swift is continuing her rise, and this is the perfect book for young fans of hers. It goes through her backstory and is complete with beautiful and cutesy illustrations. I love this entire series, as they are straight forward with their content, while also not being too cumbersome for young readers.
