Unfortunately, I couldn't get into this book. I felt it was lacking something. I do apologise. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

While the concept of the book intrigued me, I found myself struggling to connect with the poems on a personal level. Perhaps it was the format of small-formed verses that failed to capture my interest or the thematic focus that didn't resonate with my own experiences. Nonetheless, I recognize the value in the collection for those who seek introspection and empathy through the lens of childhood perceptions. While it may not have sparked my enthusiasm, it undoubtedly offers a unique perspective worth exploring for readers who appreciate introspective poetry.

A great collection of poems about everything from parenthood to anxiety to Christmas and everything in between. Great to dip into, or to beinge in one go. Many of these will strike a chord with readers; a great gift.

I absolutely love this book and I think all parents can relate to it or parent figures. This would make a great gift!
