This is full of emotions but not only the book but of the reader as well.. Based down in Devon with a city girl as the main character. What will happen to her life while there, read it to find out. It would be lovely if this could be a story continued with at least one more book. Well worth 5 stars.
Thanks to Netgalley, author and publisher for this ARC

This is a touching story. It will bring you some tears and some laughing tears. It was so fun to watch Vicky discover so much about her Aunt Molly. Vicky was left her aunt Molly's cottage after she had passed. She hadn't been to see her for over 17 years. The locals at first didn't take well to it, especially Tom thinking Molly was just going to fix it up and sell it. Bringing in just another "summer family". But as Molly slowly starts to learn more about Molly and starts to feel welcome in the village maybe selling isn't something she wants to do.
At some points I felt that Vicky was all alone and that was upsetting. Her mum never seemed to fully support her, you could sense that through the phone calls. Then lets not even get started on her fiancé turned ex-fiancé and her step sister. But Vicky was strong and over came all that was thrown at her and found love along the way.

I absolutely loved this story. A real feel good read. Sat nav’s do make you laugh . Vicky is the main character and she inherits an old cottage. You follow her ups and down and discovering her Great Aunt who left the her the cottage was an amazing woman. You get a nice slow burn love story. Just a jolly good read.

I needed a palette cleanser. I’ve been reading really heavy science fiction and fantasy recently and I was in the mood for a book that’s like bubblegum and pop music on a warm day; I found that book!
This was very sweet. It was like a warm and cozy snuggle. Sort of surface, not exceptionally intimate or intense, but full of heart and a safe sense of small town goodness.
The love story was clean and efficient but made me swoon nonetheless. The characters were slightly one dimensional but not in a way that took me from the story or felt glaringly lacking.
A sugary sweet treat of a book.

This is the first book I have read by this author and will definitely be looking for more by them. This was the perfect escapism read to curl up with a cuppa and forget the world with.
The characters and storyline were engaging and it had the perfect balance of serious and laugh out loud moments.
I would love a sequel to this or a series to see how Vicky and toms characters develop and also to see how the other inhabitants of the village lives play out.

Vicky finds herself having inherited her great aunt's cottage after almost 16 yrs pass from her last visit. She finds herself considering a new path in life as she visits the cottage and remembers how she loves the area. A nice read and romance over all, but was a bit quick and odd in the transition.
