So tense! Wow, now I can breathe normally.
This book was so intense, jaw dropping, full of surprises and twists that kept me turning the pages so fast! This was my third book by Leslie and I know I will be reading more from her!
I loved the writing style, the plot, I didn’t have any idea where the story was going, even tried to guess a few times, and the big surprise at the end?!
It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, I couldn’t put it down!
You will love to get to know the main character Emma, her trauma, her emotions, her memories, her strength and beliefs.
You need to read this book!
I definitely recommend.
Thank you so much NetGalley, Leslie Wolfe and Bookouture for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Great story that keeps the reader guessing with twist and turns in a unique story guaranteed to keep you glued to whatever format you’re reading.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Hospital by Leslie Wolfe is a completely shocking psychological thriller with a breathtaking and unexpected twist.
This storyline is absolutely original. I never come across anything like this book, not even similar! It's so refreshing to get something completely original!
In the first half of the book, you are just wondering where all this is going and the second part comes in with twists and turns and it feels like a wild ride!
When Emma wakes up in the hospital she doesn't have a memory of what happened but she knows, someone was trying to kiII her. Now she is stressed that whoever tried it will return to finish the job.
She can't see and she can't move her body so she can't protect herself. All she can do is rely on Dr Sokolowski and nurses who look after her. Bit by bit her memory is returning. Will she remember who attacked her?
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this copy!

A thoroughly enjoyable read that has you guessing and then second guessing at every turn. Well paced throughout and with authentic characters.

What a thrilling story with lots of twists to keep you guessing. I highly enjoyed this book, the writing was very good and I really enjoyed the story line.
We follow Emma, who wakes up, unsure of where she is, with hardly any memories of before but also struggling to create new memories. She is told that she is in hospital, she was found on her driveway in a puddle of blood with a nasty bang to the back of her head, she is told that her eyesight has been effected so it's best if they keep the gauze covering her eyes, she is told that her memories will come back. What if some or all of that is a lie?
I will be recommending this book to thriller lovers and unreliable narrator vibe lovers.

This book had me gripped from the very first page. So many twists and turns. I had a feeling half way through who her stalker was but did not know anything more than that til everything came to a head.
I absolutely loved this book and a definite recommend
Thank you Bookouture and Netgalley for allowing me to read this arc for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and isn't influenced by anyone else

When Emma wakes up in the hospital, she doesn't remember much. All she is sure of is that someone tried to kill her, although she doesn't know who. As she tries to piece together her memories, she realizes that the information she is receiving from friends and family doesn't quite add up. A gripping thriller that will keep you guessing until the end.

“The hospital” follows our FMC Emma who wakes up in a hospital. She doesn’t remember what happened or why she’s there. She’s informed she has a case of amnesia along with being unable to move or see.
This book definitely has creepy claustrophobic vibes, being trapped without having vital information needed to keep yourself safe.
There’s a lot of suspicious characters who can’t be trusted, ex partners, jealous girlfriends, people who she can’t remember at all.
The mystery and the unknown definitely keep you reading. There are parts that felt a little predictable but overall I enjoyed this read!
Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

This is my 2nd book by this author and I really enjoyed it. This was a great thriller that kept me intrigued throughout the book. Great characters and a great story. The ending was a complete shocker! I really enjoy this authors writing style. Definitely recommend! Thank you to NetGalley, Leslie Wolfe and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An excellent thriller! That twist at the end was crazy!!!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this arc in exchange for an honest review!

This book had me gripped from the very first sentence! This book has all the elements you would expect from a psychological thriller and all the twists and turns you would expect from a mystery. And what a mystery it was. I thought I had the book figured out pretty early on, but once again I was completely wrong.
I have read a couple books by this author, but this may have the best one yet!

Thanks to #NetGalley and #Bookouture for the book #TheHospital by #LeslieWolfe. Emma remembers being attacked, someone trying to kill me. Now I wake up in the hospital and I can’t see one move. Why can’t I remember anything? Who tried to kill me. Am I really in a hospital? This books shows you what some people are capable of. I could not put this down.

This book is quite .. interesting. The premise is good, however it didn't really suck me in the way I thought it would have.
Emma Duncan wakes up in a hospital after being brutally attacked. She is suffering from brain damage, making it difficult to recall much of anything as well as move. Her vision has also been damaged, leaving her partially blinded, albeit temporarily. As Emma starts to receive visitors, her memories slowly start coming back. She begins to piece things together and remembers what really happens.
This book was a unique one, for sure! The premise is great, however it wasn't the easiest read for me. Majority of the book seemed slow and repetitive. It doesn't really pick up until the end, and although it was shocking, it wasn't my favorite as far as psychological thrillers go.
Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture, and Leslie Wolfe for this ARC!

What a terrific psychological thriller! This is a must read. Don’t try to figure it out because you won’t succeed! One of this great authors best works!

I found the book interesting, a little confusing to begin with, many characters to keep track of, the plot of the story was good and enjoyable, I liked it and was able to keep up by the end of the book, I while the book,
The story of the stalker and Emma was interesting, I struggled with understanding who the stalker actually was and why they were keeping her blinded to begin with. I loved Jasmines character! The way she was towards Emma!

This is the second book of this author that I have tried to read and I have to say, although I love psychological thrillers this author is just not for me. I can’t connect with the characters and it just doesn’t grap my attention and draw me in. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t for other readers.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read early and post a review.
I’ve previously read the Surgeon by Leslie and loved it! So I was eager and excited to read The Hospital! The book is very well written. Lots of descriptive factors that really set the scene and allow readers to really imagine the setting. The book is easy to read and follow along. I felt the same frustration as Emma did throughout her journey.
The book begins with Emma who has been attacked and is now recovering. She has limited memory and slowly gains insight into the lead up of her attack. She’s visited by friends and nurses who take care of her, helping her jog her memory and make connections. Emma gets frustrated and questions her memory and eventually starts piecing everything together.
The first half of the book is slower paced as it gives readers the necessary information to understand Emma’s life prior to her attack. The second half is when the thriller portion of the book takes shape. This is where twists and turns occur and we find out the truth. While I predicted the outcome quite early on, it was a good read.
If you’re looking for a medical based thriller, this is a great option. As a nurse, I found it easy to follow along and understand the technical terms and drugs mentioned. If you’re less familiar it’s still easy to keep up and understand. If you’re looking for something less predictable and with more thriller intensity, this may fall short. Nonetheless, it’s a very well written book.
3 stars because I found it too predictable.

Great read! I thought I had every detail figured out by the middle of the book but I missed one detail! Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read and review The Hospital!

This book actually gave me the creeps. I almost didn’t want to read it at night because it freaked me out but it made it so enjoyable to actually feel that way while reading a thriller.
Emma wakes up in the “hospital” after being attacked with amnesia and unable to move or see. As time goes on, her memory comes back more and more, you don’t know who to trust. The ex husband who she doesn’t remember divorcing who has a new girlfriend? The ex boyfriend she can’t remember breaking up with? The other ex boyfriend?
I was intrigued reading this because I wanted to know what the heck was going on. Was a solid read!
Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and Leslie Wolfe for the ARC of The Hospital in return for an honest review.
Emma wakes up in hospital after an attack, with little memory.
This entire book had me on the edge of my seat, I was an anxious mess reading it! I honestly had no idea where the story was going and I was loving the book.
I love books set in hospitals so this one was perfect! Going to be checking out other books by the author, as this was my first read of hers.
