When I Get Older is a cute children's book that sparks the imagination and encourages young readers to dream big. Through its vibrant illustrations and playful verses, the book introduces children to a world of endless possibilities, where they can envision themselves as astronauts, chefs, artists, and more. What I loved most about this book is its message of empowerment and encouragement, reminding children that their dreams are limitless and that they have the power to shape their own futures.
"Magenta Skies is a gripping tale of darkness and redemption that kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Set in a world teetering on the brink of chaos, the story follows a blind man and a group of unlikely heroes as they confront a malevolent force threatening humanity. What I enjoyed most about this book was its intricate world-building and well-developed characters, each grappling with their own inner demons as they strive to protect society from impending doom. The themes of vengeance, sacrifice, and the power of redemption resonated deeply with me, making Magenta Skies a truly unforgettable read.

The story is good but all the AI images used make me hate the book. Don't use Ai, it's very strange. the face proportions are not good. do not recommend this book to children
This is a really cute book with so many different jobs described in a nice rhyming way. It would be an enjoyable book to read with a preschool or kindergarten aged child and would likely start all sorts of conversations about jobs and different kinds of people.
This book covered all jobs and thought it rhymed and was written really well!
I enjoyed the illustrations, and really think Sheri Henry did a good job!
Thankful for this ARC read.
'When I Get Older' by Sheri Henry is a nice rhyming story about careers kids might enjoy. The weakest part is the illustrations. The images are inconsistent in style and feel AI. Kids probably won't care but overall that in conjunction with the layout feels very DIY. This would be a library book for our family.
