This is a must read for any individual looking to improve their workplace to be healthier, productive, and collaborative. However, I would say that it would be most beneficial for individuals working in HR or in a management position to enact and enforce the steps discussed. While this is a nonfiction read it is well informed with a professional tone that allows it be more of a discussion than reading straight facts. I would highly recommend this to anyone working in a professional capacity.

I would recommend Seeking Fairness at Work - Cracking the New Code of Greater Employee Engagement, Retention & Satisfaction to every supervisor, manager, leader, and human resources professionals in any size organization. The book is insightful, timely, and prescriptive. In my opinion, it’s one of the few leadership/human resources book that is both inspirational and completely necessary. Author Hanna Hasl-Kelchner dispels many leadership myths and connects the dots between fairness and a thriving team, well-being, and a more successful organization.

Seeking Fairness at Work, by Hanna Hasl-Kelchner, was a timely read for me. I've been struggling with how to articulate some of the issues I've seen with management in my organization. Employees complain about a lack of trust. After reading this book, I realize that what they're expressing is an issue of unfairness, particularly when it comes to unwritten rules. I'm excited to share this with my leadership team and am hopeful that Hast'Kelchner's suggestions help us to improve our workplace.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC; all opinions are my own.
