Fantastic debut, a flowing narrative and memorable characters. Love and music and travel from multiple points of view, intermingled with heartbreak and family ties.

A great read and well written although a bit bitty at times. Intriguing debut. I can imagine this being made into a film and I think it would work well. Picked it up on a whim and it was worthwhile

This is a beautiful book about love, family and the music which beats through a person's life. I would say that I think it should be classed as literary as the writing - though exquisite - is quite choppy and despite the love story, it's definitely not a romance in that sense. However, this was a gorgeous book and I really enjoyed it. It's incomparable to anything I've ever read (in the best possible way).

What a beautiful and impactful story. I absolutely cannot wait to share my full thoughts and review on this book. I feel it would make a beautiful film.
