This book gave me all the feels! I started reading it and then I couldn't stop, it's such a page turner. I loved how the author would go into the character's past but still keep it from getting confusing. If you love romance with a bit of suspense, this is a definite read!

Paging Dr. Hart is a swoon-inducing, page-turning, medical romance novel. Read if you like enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, slow-burn chemistry, and pulse-pounding suspense.

Ice Queen. That’s what the other residents call Dr. Tiffany Hart. Troubled by her dark past, Tiffany keeps everyone at arms length to protect herself. She has her work and her cat, what else could she possibly need, besides some extra cash that comes with the coveted Resident of the Month award. Until the annoying, new handsome doctor, Ethan Clark starts trying to befriend her.

When Tiffany and Ethan are forced to continuously work together, Ethan starts chipping away at her icy exterior. Revealing feelings and desires that Tiffany has convinced herself she is immune to.

But as Tiffany learns the hard way, much like her past, you can only run from your feelings for so long.

Will Tiffany and Ethan be able to have a sparkling happily ever after or will they have to pull the plug on their relationship before it even begins?

I adored this story! Not only is the story
Available in TWO versions:
Spicy, when you want all the intimate details and descriptions or
Sweet, when you still want the love and romance but in a feel good kind of way!

BUT, the story itself was so good!
I loved Ethan. His positivity was infectious, and I loved his character in contrast to Tiffany’s.

I loved this author and look forward to reading more of her books!!

Thanks so much to Dr. Melissa Dymond, NetGalley, and

A swoony medical romance with dark secrets and plenty of tension.

This was a super enjoyable read🫶🏼 “Ice queen” Dr. Tiffany Hart has loads of layers to her personality and the dual timeline works so well to introduce her dark past and its threat to her present and future. And it’s a future that hangs in the balance as she falls for the new stupidly sexy doc on the scene, Ethan Clark. His ability to make Tiffy feel safe and valued is so wholesome. Total book boyf vibes, green flags and tender kisses all the way.

PLUS it’s available in TWO versions: 1. Spicy- explicit language and intimate scenes 2. Sweet- no language. Kissing only. Choose the version that works best for you 🫶🏼

A STEM romance with close proximity is perfection for me. This book did not disappoint. It’s a medical romance about two rival doctors in the same department. But it’s also a suspense with secret, creepy text messages about hidden past events, and a kidnapping. It’s really well written. Both main characters have deep backstories, and full personalities. Their chemistry is immediate, but in true rivals fashion, they fight it (her more than him). Their relationship is so sweet. He remembers how she likes her coffee. He rescues her from nightmares. They go to Disney. The burn is enjoyably slow, and the spice is perfection (please see note re: spice below). The romance and the suspense storylines are so detailed and intriguing that they could be separate books but when the timelines match up and it all comes together? Perfection. It’s unique and it’s captivating.

Please note—this book is available in 1) A spicy/open-door version with mild explicit language and sex scenes 2) A sweet/clean/closed-door version with no language and only kissing.

Plus 10% of proceeds go to lung cancer research.

Paging Dr. Hart by Dr. Melissa Dymond was a sweet contemporary romance novel!
This was such a fun read and I loved every minute I spent reading it! I had a hard time putting this one down because I was completely sucked into the story and I really wanted to know how it would end.
I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline in this one. I found the characters were relatable and I was rooting for them and a happily ever after ending.

‘Paging Dr. Hart’ was one of those books I knew I wanted to read just by looking at the cover. It just grabbed my attention right from the start.

This book was mostly set inside the walls of the hospital. And as a nurse who used to work in a hospital, I loved being back inside the hospital for a little while. The dynamic of working in a hospital, and the way the doctors talked with each other.. I really enjoyed reading those moments.

The romance between Tiffany and Ethan was nice, but it was a bit mellow for my taste, and I must admit that I didn’t really feel their chemistry as much as I hoped when I started. I definitely enjoyed reading about Tiffany, and I really felt like I got to know her. But Ethan’s characters still felt a bit like a stranger to me.

In the end this book also had some twists I honestly didn’t really get. And it felt like it was all a bit rushed. Overall I had fun, but feel like this book could be more.

I was hooked to the book from the first chapter. This book had a bit of everything. I really liked the dual timeline here where we get to see how Tiffany grew up and what were the situations and circumstances that led to her keeping her guard up all the time. And given her past - her struggles, losses and betrayals, it makes sense for her to not let people in so she doesn't get hurt again. It helped us understand her character better.

The suspense aspect was really well done and I was so eager to find out what truly happened in the past that's come back to haunt her in the present. What was she running away from and why does she need to hide it from Ethan? I kept trying to figure out what could've happened and who could've done what the whole time. That plot slowly unravels over the years of the past chapters.

Tiffany has definitely been through a lot in life and seen a lot of hardships in life but she has worked her ass off to get out of the life she had and to work towards the life she wanted to lead. But her past is also the reason why she doesn't let anyone in. The character development was good, where we see Tiffany's inner conflicts about wanting to feel connections again but also holding herself back from being hurt again and how she slowly comes to terms with her past, the loss, grief, guilt, betrayal, in order to stop trying to sabotage her own happiness.

Absolutely loved Ethan and how patient, understanding and thoughtful he was. How he paid attention to everything Tiffany did and memorized her likes and dislikes. He put up with her when she lashed out at him in order to keep him at a distance but he was unperturbed and relentless in trying to win her over and communicated what he wanted clearly. He never stopped trying with Tiffany and he didn't hide how he felt about her either. We get a good understanding of Ethan's character as well. His past, his upbringing, his insecurities and his dreams. He was the greenest flag.

Their relationship went from terrible first meeting to slowly getting used to being around each other to friendship to more. Ethan slowly but surely wore Tiffany down and made her bring down her walls.

This had a perfect balance of romance and suspense and I absolutely loved it.

Loved the TS references throughout the book. I also like that the author made two versions, one with the spicy scenes and one with a closed door version so everyone can enjoy is story at their own comfort.

I did have a few questions towards the ending but I guess that will be covered more in the next books in the series as the author mentions that it will be a series of interconnected standalones. I am eager to know who the next books will be about. Also waiting to see if there will be a book for a certain character that I don't know if I hate or love yet.

Paging Dr. Hart is such a fun and interesting read. It will keep you hooked. Tiffany Hart is the main female character in this book, and there are two timelines throughout the story. The present, where she is working as a radiology resident in Ohio, and then the other timeline is in the past when she was living in Las Vegas as a teenager. And the male main character, Ethan, is such a good guy. I loved the main characters so much, and I loved watching their relationship continue to grow.

The past timeline includes a lot of suspense, and I loved how it was all able to connect with the present timeline. I have never read anything like this before, where there is romance and suspense, but it was so good.

The only part that I didn’t like was that some things were confusing. Like how did Ethan just appear at the Starlight out of the blue? I don’t think there would’ve been enough time to figure out where she went and book a flight and get to her in time. And another thing was that although I liked how the epilogue brought in more suspense, I think it’s strange that Rafe would’ve gone all the way there just for that. That is something that they could’ve talked about at the Starlight.

I cannot wait to read future books by Dr. Melissa Dymond, especially the ones that will be a part of this series. I think there is a lot of potential for some great stories within this world.

I highly recommend reading this book! It is to be published on 6/17/24 (which is tomorrow as I’m writing this) so please go read this!

Tiffany has worked against many odds
to lead herself to the position in radiology that she now holds. She was in a stabile position in life. That is until Ethan arrived at the hospital distrusting her daily life! Ethan was coming into the radiology program with medical reality on his side. Tiffany would be forced to train Ethan even though she could not stand his golden spoon vibes. When they were forced to share an apartment for work would they be able to get along? And would Tiffany's troubled past come back to haunt her?

Oh my goodness, this book had my heart racing! Dr. Dymond knows how to write not only a phenomenal medical romance but add a bit of suspense and this book was absolutely amazing. I’ve loved her work since Holiday Star was written, and I’m so thankful to have been given an ARC of her newest book by NetGalley.

You NEED to add Paging Dr Hart to your TBR. Dr. Dymond was incredibly thoughtful of her readers needs and created two different versions — one clean/closed door and the other steamy and spicy.

The plot itself will have you on the edge of your seat. Your heart will break for Tiffany but you will cheer her on as you watch her grow up and slowly soften toward the ever patient Ethan. If you love romantic suspense and have an obsession with Greys Anatomy, this book is for you!

🌿 forced proximity
🌿 closed door romantic suspense
🌿 he falls first
🌿 reverse grumpy x sunshine
🌿 rivals to more
🌿 slow burn

Paging Dr. Hart was hyped as a medical romance with suspense yet the cover presents as a rom-com. Although I’m usually quick to pick up a thriller/suspense or a rom-com as my preferred genre, this book was a miss for me. The dual timeline with flashbacks to the past, held my attention much better than the present-day storyline with its pages of travel guide style description of Disney World and corny nicknames like Tiffy. I did like how the author offered bonus content on her website with different character POV of events. But in all honesty, I wanted to like this book more than I actually liked this book.

*I received an advance reader copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Tiffany Hart is let's say, a very serious doctor. She's worked hard to achieve her goals and forget her past at the cost of not having any kind of relationships, but everything might change when she meets Dr. Ethan Clark. She might open up to people again, but will her past come back to hunt her down?
A lot of fun to read, it has romance, some drama and a bit of mistery. This is a book you will definetely enjoy and have a great time reading it.

Paging Dr Hart - Dr Melissa Dymond

Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice - 🌶️🌶️

I am a big romance fan so this book sounded right up might street.

I loved the enemies to lovers, forced proximity vibes this book was giving off as well as the banter between the two main characters and the mystery element. The medical side of the book was really cool and incredibly accurate - especially as I spend a lot of time in the medical setting (and have had a lot of experience in radiology as a patient)

I did enjoy this book, however I felt a bit lost in terms of the plot at points, it seemed a bit fast in places and I felt as if the language used at some points (I.e past chapters during childhood) felt a bit mature for the characters ages. I also felt like the use of ‘U and UR’ during the text messages seemed a bit out of place.

I did however really enjoy the characters - especially the golden retriever energy Ethan is giving off.

One thing I did not like was the QR code in the middle of the book - I feel like that would have been better placed at the end of the book.

I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a lighthearted romance and an easy read.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to read and review this book. Thank you NetGalley!

Sweet hospital-scene romance. Back story offers compassionate look at a girl orphaned just on the cusp of adulthood in Vegas. Medical dialog sometimes a little stilted (because surely a doctor wouldn’t need to spell out to another doctor what peristaltic movement is… so the explanation lands up breaking the fourth wall for the reader because you’re aware she put that detail in *for you*, dear reader.) but I enjoyed it. Ethan is a total cinnamon roll - too good to be true.

The storyline itself is probably really good, but the way it is written and the childish behaviour… I cannot read past that.
How is she angry with him if he doesn’t text/call after their time living together in that hospital…
If she wants to speak to him, she can text or call first. It’s childish which I just didn’t expect.
Sad to say I DNF’ed at 40%

I absolutely loved this book. It was my first medical romance so I didn’t know what to expect. It had everything I like in a romance book, spice, swoon, dark past, laughs and tears and insta love (at least from Ethan’s part).

I love how the timeline was written, bringing us back and forth in Tiffany’s story from her being a young child to where she is now, but also leaving us with suspense about things until towards the end. Which is why I’ve flown through this book: I needed to know!

I’m hooked on Dr. Melissa Dymond’s writing and I will keep reading books from her! Also I didn’t know it was such a long process going through medical school to become a doctor!

This book had everything going for it, interesting dual timeline, with some moments of suspense. Ethan is such a green flag especially navigating Tiffany’s past. A nice slow burn that kept me turning the page for more! I would’ve given this 5 stars but felt like I wanted a little
Bit more out of the ending but was excited to learn she plans of revisiting this world and Tiffany’s past/upbringing.

2 star read for me - liked didn't love. It was interesting to hear about Tiffany's past and to see how she soften as time when on with Ethan. The Disney/conference part was fun to see Ethan and Tiffany in their element. .Overall, the plot was fine but the story ended up not being for me.

Always thankful to read a book before it's published so thank you to Victory Editing and NetGalley for the ARC!

I loved that even though it was slow burn, there was still so much tension. There was also spice, but not too much! The quotes I pulled from this book are so perfect, I love Tiffany and Ethan so much.
I absolutely loved the two timelines going on with Tiffany’s present and her past. It added so much to the story and made it so interesting!
