This is my first book when it comes to medical romance. I fell in love with it. Its well written and I could feel the connections with the characters.
Not what I expected, better. Tiffany Hart grew up fighting for everything she has, When she becomes involved with something she later regrets she decides to turn her life around, but can she?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review
I enjoyed this medical suspense story. This was my first read by Dr. Dymond and it will not be my last. I appreciate the opportunity for an early copy of this book.
Very cute rom-com in a medical setting. Slow burn. Enemies to lovers. Golden retriever. I would recommend this book for a light casual read
For any Greyโs Anatomy fans out there, pick up this book! I read the spicy version, and it delivered. I liked how the author flipped between timelines and fleshed out the main character Tiffanyโs (traumatic) backstory.
The workplace banter was elite.
I did feel like the pacing was a little jarring at times, which kept me from giving it 5 stars, but I would definitely recommend for any romantic suspense lovers / medical drama fans.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!
This book really had me conflicted.
While I really liked the tone and the mystery, the writing style was just... not for me.
Dr Hart (our main protagonist) wasn't a relatable or pleasant character at all, and I failed to connect with her. The same happens with Ethan, and I think the conflict (or rather animosity) between them was very shallow.
Thank you Netgalley and Melissa Dymond for sending me this book in exchange of an honest review ๐
Unfortunately this was a DNF at 40%
I couldnโt connect with the characters or story and it didnโt keep me engaged
I devoured this book! A medical romance novel, with plenty of spice! Something a little different to your standard romance book.
A cute romantic suspense book for sure! Thankyou to the Author, the publisher and Netgalley for providing this wonderful ARC! Full RTC coming soon.
This book really took me by surprise with how much I like it.
As I said before in my other reviews, I like when books give u different timelines because you get to know and understand better why a character is the way that he is in the present.
The flashbacks of Tiffanyโs past were what got me hooked and I did not expect to be this entertained.
If you like reverse grumpy/sunshine, with meaningful topics, some suspense and mistery and characters that are well developed and mature you should definitely read this.
P.S.: another thing that I find interesting about this is that the author and publisher offers 2 versions of this book (the open door/ closed door spice) so everybody gets to enjoy what option they like the most!
P.S. 2: as I fan of Grey's Anatomy, i really liked the medical part.
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I feel like the first half of this book was incredible, but it kept adding aspects that I felt like should have been saved for a different story. It felt like everything needed to be rushed to get the entirety of the story aspects in.

This book really surprised me. I honestly wasnโt expecting too much from it- the title had me thinking it would be a pretty typical cheesy romcom. This book had so much more depth, development, and vulnerability than I imagined!
I really love romances that are dual POV. I feel like they really allow me to get to know the characters; their motivations, fears, and their relationships. Tiffany was super resilient and determined FMC- very buttoned up and by the book at first. As for Ethan, guys need to take notes from him. He was so patient and thoughtful- and we love a guy who knows how to communicate ๐๐ผ
Melissa Dymond hooked me from the start with her storytelling through alternating timelines between present day and the past, which culminate at the end for an exciting suspense-filled love story. I canโt wait to read more of her books in the future.

Book : Paging Dr. Hart
Author : @Marissadymondauthor
Genre : Romance
Published : 17 June
I picked up this book because of its cover, and the description mentioned a reverse grumpy and sunshine tropeโone of my absolute favorites! ๐๐
The story follows Ethan and Tiffany. Tiffany struggles with insecurities and is known as the "ice queen" at the hospital โ๏ธ, while Ethan is passionate about radiology and trying to find his place in his family. The heart of the story is how Ethan helps Tiffany believe in love and companionship, and how they both fall in love with each other. ๐๐
The story begins when Ethan enters Tiffany's life at a time when, in her words, she was living a perfect life with her book boyfriends and a cat ๐พ. Tiffany is a third-year resident in radiology, and Ethan is a transferred resident in the same hospital. They're forced to work closely together for a month, which allows them to really get to know each other. ๐ฅโจ
As the story unfolds, the author also includes flashbacks to Tiffany's past, revealing how she's grown and what her previous life was like. She's tried to forget her past and start fresh, but what will happen when Ethan finds out about her past? The big question is whether Ethan will accept Tiffany's past and love her the same. And will her past affect her present? ๐ฐ๏ธโค๏ธ
I don't want to spoil anything, but there's also a fun involving Disneyland and Las Vegas that adds a unique flair to their journey! ๐ข๐ฐ
I loved this novel, though I found the first half a bit slowโmaybe even very slow. At first, I struggled with story as it was different for me with some words , but the second half picked up the pace, with most of the content and plot developments happening there. ๐ The author did a great job blending past and present chapters, so even though there are two timelines, it's easy to follow.
I also enjoyed the quotes throughout the story, which were memorable and lovely. The language is simple and easy to understand, though there are some medical terms that were a bit tricky. Overall, it's a cute rom-com with a bit of suspense. ๐๐
As for the characters, I loved Ethan from the start and gradually grew to like Tiffany as well. The side characters, though not central to the story, were also plain and simple, but with good characterization. I personally loved the story, especially the second half, which really gripped me. ๐๐
This isnโt just a story about Ethan and Tiffanyโitโs about how our past doesnโt define our present. We can make mistakes, but if we learn from them and strive to make our lives better, we can. It also shows that love can come into your life at any time and from anywhereโyou just have to be ready for it. ๐ The author provides two perspectives on life: Ethan and Tiffany had very different childhoodsโone stable, the other unstableโbut both faced their own problems.
Overall, I loved this story and would recommend it to everyone. Itโs not your typical medical rom-com; it also has elements of suspense and thriller. ๐๐ซ
I read Holiday Star by this author earlier in the year and I thoroughly enjoyed it so I was happy to see this book come out. This romance has two amazing main characters both with complicated back stories. Tiffany is assigned to show Ethan around when he transfers to her hospital and their initial interactions are not the best and Ethan quickly hopes to solve that problem. They are both doctors with very different and compelling histories. As we learn more about each of them it was wonderful to see their professional and personal growth. Ethan is a perfect match for Tiffany as he breaks down her ice queen persona. I loved the hospital settings and there is also the forced proximity trope in use here. Another intriguing and enjoyable romance to add to your TBR.
I could put this book down. . . I wanted to keep reading and figure out the mystery of Tiffanyโs past but I also wanted to watch her open up to Ethan. I loved discovering new things about them both. The story was put together so perfectly. I love how the story has a small simmer and how nothing is rushed between the two characters what made me want to keep reading more and more.
Teenage Tiffany was something else, I love the reason why she did everything she did, and it totally clicked why she was the way she was with Ethan. I canโt express how much I enjoyed reading this story - it was delightful, full of mystery, and had me addicted the entire time. I also really enjoyed the spicy version of this book. 100% recommend ๐ถ๏ธ๐๐
FAVORITE QUOTE: โIโve fallen apart. Broken into pieces like a plate thrown at a wall.โ - Tiffany ๐
weaves together a delightful and heartwarming tale of love, ambition, and the power of human connection set against the backdrop of a bustling hospital. This cozy romance between two dedicated doctors, not only explores their blossoming relationship but also provides insights into the challenges and triumphs of life in the medical field. Will suspenseful secrets from lives they lived before that keeps you curious and reading.
Does start off a little slow.
I loved the spicy, open door version of this novel! The author also writes a version of this book that is more clean. Iโm sure that one is great too! An ice queen doctor meets an arrogant doctor, and it is a great enemies to lovers romance! Not only is there forced proximity, but the forced proximity takes place at Disney world!!
Paging Dr. Hart is the second book I have read by Melissa Dymond and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. She writes two versions, one clean and one spicey, so all readers can feel comfortable with her work. I love that her FMCs are intelligent, independent women. Paging Dr. Hart is a grumpy/ sunshine (she is the grumpy one), workplace romance where he falls first. It is also told on a dual timeline, going from present day to Dr. Tiffany Hartโs upbringing and troublesome past. It all merges together as Tiffany navigates her career, her relationships and someone blackmailing her.
I really enjoyed Paging Dr. Hart. I found both of the main characters very likeableโin fact I think the MMC, Ethan, gets all the green flags!! He's such an adorable guy and I loved his entire character. The FMC, Tiffany is a self-assured person with little character flaws. Everyone was insanely likeable, even the "villains" had me feeling for them! I knocked off one star because I felt like I was left with a lot of questions, which the author said will be answered in additional novels. But I would've loved to get the answers now personally instead of in another book. Overall, I loved it!

Paging Dr. Hart was a marvelous book to read. I absolutely loved the characters, they felt so real and human. They were captivating. Tiffany, with her heart of gold, has become one of my favorite Female Leads , and Ethan was the biggest green flag. They were so cute together and gave us a lot of heartwarming moments.
I was hooked from the first page, the only reason why it wasnโ a 5 stars for me was the moments in time chosen to tell the story. Let me explain.
I think that the dual timeline was nice to understand Tiffanyโs story correctly, but I couldnโt help but feel that, even beautifully written, most of that part of the story could have been explained in the present with a trigger for those memories or conversations. Instead, it keeps the story going back and forth with no patron and the mix feels like breaking the story in tiny scenes that help to feel the time moving but creates difficulties to experience it at the same time because itโs constantly breaking the pace.
Also, I would have loved to have longer chapters. To read longer chapters that would include the short ones in the narration, I feel that it could have contributed better to the development between characters and of the story instead of developing it through brief scenes that helped with the time moving but kept the pace stopping abruptly.
In conclusion; it was a cute story, with real characters and I look forward to reading more from Dr. Melissa Dymond in the future. She is an amazing writer with a beautiful writing style that is so difficult to find nowadays. I highly recommended it,
