Summary: In the present, Tiffany meets a cute new doctor who she doesn't get along with. In the past, Tiffany's childhood is full of hard times. Then the two timelines collide.
Vibes:
- Medical Romance
- One Office to One Apartment to One Bed
- Spice: 2 & there's a no spice option
It felt like I was getting two stories in one. The past was filled with heartache and suspense, while the future was filled with romance.
I also want to point out that this book comes in two different options: With Spice & Without Spice and I love that.
"๐ ๐ฐ๐ถ'๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ฏ๐ฐ ๐ช๐ค๐ฆ ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฏ. ๐ ๐ฐ๐ถ'๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ง๐ช๐ณ๐ฆ."
Ethan was such a sweetheart paying attention to everything Tiffy did. For someone who has been alone and is used to people calling her an ice queen, I feel like it helped Tiffany open up.
I'm not sure if Melissa knew what I was eating the other night, but I found it hilarious when I read "๐๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช ๐ง๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ด ๐ถ๐ด ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ๐ถ๐ต ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ต๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ๐บ ๐ด๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ธ๐ช๐ค๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฐ๐ด" because that's exactly what I had since I was too tired to cook.

4.5 stars, rounding up to 5.
I just feel like the past and present didn't blend very well to me. I was expecting a medical romance and a mafia story was thrown in.
Separately, I loved both aspects and think they could have each had their own story.
Ethan and Tiffany's romance was so sweet. Forced proximity and how he comforted her was perfect. Good slow burn on the spice.
I appreciate the story of Tiffany's past to explain her present behaviors and loved her relationship with Mr. Chen so much.

This book had a lot of elements of a fantastic read. I thought Tiffany was a very interesting character, and enjoyed her slowly opening up to people and working through the impact her past had on her. I thought both the suspense aspects and medical romance aspects of the book had good elements in them but it was out of balance. I also took a while to warm up to Ethan, to me the cockiness didn't quite fit with his character through the rest of the book. Overall it was enjoyable though.

PAGING DR HART- A MEDICAL ROMANCE WITH SUSPENSE

Paging Dr. Hart is my first Suspense RomCom. Paging Dr. Hart is about a Radiologist named Tiffany Hart who has a very complicated past. Dr. Tiffany Hart is preparing a lecture to give at a conference when Dr. Ethan Clark corrects her presentation and hatred begins. Not only does Tiffany have to take care of her new colleague, she starts to receive texts from an unknown number from her dark past.
The present story threaded along with chapters of the past kept me engaged in the story. I feel like the pacing of the story was great. The sprinkle of Tiffanys history throughout the book kept me at the edge of my seat.
Tiffany has to work hard for everything in her life. Tiffanysโ Mother is a single parent trying to provide for her and her daughter in a rougher part of Vegas. Tiffanys Mother becomes sick, leading Tiffany to look for creative/dangerous ways to pay for medical bills and living expenses.
I appreciate that the reader also got to see Ethans history with the Hospital that his family built, and how he works through his past. Ethan is the best โGolden Retriever Boyfriendโ with just a little bit more of a bite.
โI will fight anything, or anyone, that comes between us. Nothing could keep me away from you. Nothingโ -Ethan
My heart was so happy that they both felt like they belonged. That even if you have a complicated past, it stills means you are still deserving of love and support.
There were a few open door scenes in chapter 63 and 72, not too explicit.
I gave Paging Dr. Hart 4.5 stars. The chemistry between Ethan and Tiffany was *chefs kiss*.

This book was incredible! 5 stars hands down. I love that this was my first arc read! The detail that was put into this novel really makes it seem real. I feel like Ive just watched a movie because I could picture every scene with how beautifully this was written. I love the flashback chapters and I love how each chapter gives you just enough to have you NEEDING to read more! It is very obvious that this author took her time with those novel as it is absolute perfection in my opinion. Paging Dr. Hart had me on my toes. I wasnt expecting some of the scenes that took place. This is my first read from Dr. Melissa Dymond and rest assured, I am now a die hard fan ๐ I am looking forward to reading more from her. Consider me HOOKED! ๐ค

WARNING- make sure you have time once you start this book. You will not want to put it down, I loved the back and forth from past to present. The cute little pictures through out. But the story & mystery will pull you in. Intrigued to see if they go more into Tiffanyโs father!

Paging Dr. Hart follows a young woman's quest to overcome her past and shape her future. Despite a challenging upbringing, Tiffany's self-reliance has made it hard for her to trust others. When she meets Ethan, a new colleague, she begins to question her beliefs about herself and her ability to move forward. As Tiffany confronts her inner demons, she grapples with questions of self-worth and the possibility of forging a new path.
The narrative unfolds with suspense and depth, drawing readers into Tiffany's journey. Themes such as social-economic disparities, grief, self-advocacy, societal expectations, and self-forgiveness are skillfully explored, offering readers a reflection on resilience and personal growth. The characters had depth and the dynamics between Tiffany and Ethan were so well-developed. Everything came together seamlessly, creating a truly captivating reading experience.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

I mean where to start? I devoured this in a sitting. Tiffany is an icon. Such an intelligent and hardworking individual who is motivated and focused, I loved it. Her personal experiences have only made her stronger and more determined to do good - I love her.
I havenโt read an MMC like Ethan in a long time is feels like. An actual golden retriever who clearly only has eyes for her and I just adored him all the way through.
Rivals to lovers is probably my favourite trope. I find it very different from enemies to lovers. This was an excellent representation of that.
Iโm not always the biggest fan of when the storyline switches between timelines as I often prefer one over the other and then want the other timeline to come back more. However, this was very well done. I was engaged by both.
This is the kind of reverse grumpy x sunshine that made so much sense and I loved it. It reminded me of the relationship between Duel-re and Dr Huang in Daily Dose of Sunshine (very niche reference but the energy is truly the same).
The non romance story line surrounding Tiffany was excellent. I could not stop reading this story. I also, obviously, adored the romance too.

I enjoyed this I havenโt read much doctor romance so this was different for me
I loved the main characters the story line and the setting it was a lovely easy read which i enjoyed. Loved the cold hearted FC

I am going to be very honest with this review. These are just my thoughts as someone who reads a lot of thriller and romance. I rated Paging Dr. Hart 3.5 stars and rounded up to 4 stars.
I really enjoyed the use of enemies to lovers and the he falls first trope. I feel like it was really well done and I loved the banter between Tiffany and Ethan. Their chemistry felt natural and seemed like it came out of an episode of Greyโs Anatomy. I also really enjoyed the suspense elements of the story. Tiffanyโs back story was engaging and I found myself wanting to read more of it. It was slightly more engaging than the romance aspects of the book. I also loved the Taylor Swift lyrics sprinkled throughout!
Now, I had some issues with the layout for the first half of the book. It didnโt feel cohesive and felt like two separate stories. Going into the book, I thought I would get a romance story with some suspense that the FMC and MMC would get through together, but really the suspense was centered around Tiffany and her past. There is nothing wrong with this, but I think the marketing could have been more clear. I also think the cover of the book introduces it as a romance with some light suspense.
I still enjoyed Paging Dr. Hart and am looking forward to reading more in the future.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for an ARC of Paging Dr. Hartโค๏ธ

This was a great story which had some ups and downs. Story of how someone evolved and how another person helped them thru the tough times. With a nice love story attached

This was a really fun read. If i wasn't a mother I would have finished it in one day. It was the perfect amount of romance and suspense to keep you hooked. It also left me needing more. There are questions left unanswered, so I do hope there is a sequel to this book.

My Thoughts: I went into this book blind, expecting a contemporary medical romance with perhaps a big, suspenseful twist. I was wrong! It reads like a Colleen Hoover novel. This book isn't just a medical romance. Itโs a beautiful romantic story full of witty remarks, sweet moments, and fun peeks into the lives of resident doctorโs whilst also getting some serious sub-plots and topics weaved into it. The suspense of Tiffanyโs unknown past and the delicious tension between Tiffany and Ethan keeping you hooked.
One of the things that I love about this book is that you are getting a complex set of characters who went through trauma and lives that really could happen to anyone. We are thrust into a dual timeline from Tiffanyโs POV. We have our primary timeline; where we are living in the present with Tiffany as she tries to heal the scars, and survive the nightmares, of her past. This is where we meet Ethan as he is trying hard to avoid being another โnepotism babyโ in the medical field. He falls for Tiffany instantly and for him, the rest is history.
Our second timeline is where we slowly see Tiffanyโs dark past and the extremely tough decisions she had to make to get herself out. We meet characters as they go through growing up impoverished, in underdeveloped and underfunded communities, and much more.
We get some nice spice, not too mild and not too hot, but this book is a slooooow burn. The best part is that you can read the spicy or sweet version of the book! If spice isnโt for you, then definitely try the sweet version.
There were questions raised at the end, and a few little easter egg moments with her momโs backstory, that tells me there is DEFINTIELY more to come. If so, it ends on a potential cliffhanger. If not, it ties up almost all of the loose ends but I. WANT. MORE!

I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me of grayโs anatomy on a small scale and I ate it up lol
The relationship reminded me of Alex and Jo and I just ๐๐ but again thatโs just my own opinion lol .
Both main characters are so cute together but just so people are aware itโs definitely a slow -burn which isnโt my favorite. However, I felt it really worked in this book.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute love story โค๏ธ
A huge thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and Dr. Melissa Dymond for the opportunity to read this ARC . โค๏ธโค๏ธ

THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE AND ADORABLE!!
I adored this book, it was perfect, well written and amazing banter between the main characters.
I am going to spam my social accounts with this book and make everyone read it.
Thank you net galley for the arc!!!

Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC!
I have been wanting to read some more romance books that arenโt in the fantasy realm and am so happy I read this one! I loved the slow burn romance and the tension of the will they wonโt they. There was also great workplace banter and forced proximity.
Initially, I wasnโt a huge fan of the dual timeline aspect. I think it was because it started out when Tiffany was so young and I was here for the romance, not the 6 year old perspective. But it quickly got to her teenage years and I enjoyed the mystery aspect of it. You know that Tiffany has a big secret about her past that is holding her back, but the dual timeline keeps you in suspense.
Overall, it was an enjoyable quick read with romance, spice and some mystery.

Itโs been a minute since I have read a hospital setting romance, and know all I want to read is hospital setting romances.
I loved Tiffany and Ethan so much. They are perfect for each other.
This book contains some of my favorite tropes: Grumpy x sunshine, touch her and die, rivals to lovers, forced proximity, and only one bed!
This is told in Dual POV, and was done really well!
This is the first book that I have read from this author, and it certainly will not be my last.
I canโt wait for this to be out, so I can purchase a hardcopy!

thank you to Dr Melissa Dymond and NetGalley for this ARC! this is my first ARC ever and I'm so happy it was this book as I devoured this in two days.
The story follows Tiffany at two different timelines. The current timeline features Ethan and Tiffany who end up being fellow radiology residents (? i think, the medical vocabulary is not much my thing :D) much to the annoyance of Tiffany. Tiffany needs to teach the hospital's customs to Ethan and she really would rather not. Not to mention that she has been getting these weird texts from someone who must know about her past. The past timeline shows us Tiffany's childhood and teenage years in Vegas and the struggles she experienced. Little by little we find out more about what happened in the past.
I have to admit, I was much more hooked to the past timeline (mainly because at first I didn't like Ethan much, but also because I loved getting to know more about Tiffany's past and her story). The current timeline focused so much more on romance, and I had difficulties getting into it. In my opinion, Ethan was just so annoying at first (I mean how many times you can use a nickname another person hates and still continue using it??). But somehow I warmed up to him as Tiffany also warmed up. There was a lot of medical vocabulary in the current timeline and at first, I felt like nothing really happened, but it was fun following Tiffany and Ethan slowly fall in love.
The past timeline features so many characters I adored. The characters, the places, and the feelings made it so easy to see everything in my mind and I felt like I could have been right there beside Tiffany. Rafe in the past was my absolute favorite but I also loved Mr. Chen. I feel like the past and current timelines both had their important parts, and I really enjoyed reading both of them to the end, but I would have loved a whole book about Tiffany's past, or maybe about her mother...
Even though we find a lot of reasons what and why things happened in the past at the end, I love that some of the mysteries remain.
Solid 4 stars. Really enjoyed.

Ohmygoood!!! THIS book!!! ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ
What a lovely story - this book blew away my expectations ๐ญ. Between the suspense and the romance, reading about Tiffany's past and trying to be IN the book to hug Ethan every single time... I'm speechless ๐๐โจ.
This book has two versions:
1. The sweet closed door.
2. The spicy one. I gladly received this one ๐ฅ.
I seriously loved this one. The side characters Mr. Chen, Tiffany's mom ๐ฅบ , Melanie and even Curtis (Ethan's brother) were perfect!!! Tiffany and Ethan relationship was freaking sweet. HE FOUGHT FOR HER!!!!!!!! ๐คคโค๏ธโ๐ฅ.
This book is beautifully written. And the end??? I didn't expect it.
There are some things that leave us with so many questions - I talked with the author and she told me it's because she's planning spin-offs of this book which I'm totally excited about (I already express my desire for Stewart's book - you know me, I get obsessed with good boys turned into bad boys because of a heartbreak ๐ซ ๐ซถ๐พ) .
This book comes out June 17th and I really really REALLY recommend it.
Thank you NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for such opportunity to read this before anyone else.

thank you publisher for the arc! <3
iโll be honest, i only applied for this arc on netgalley because i saw an orange cat on the cover, and iโm a massive sucker for orange cats as an orange cat mom. i didnโt really expect a lot, maybe just a stereotypical romance book, but it blew all of that out of the water. this is the first book iโve read in one night since i read Red, White and Royal Blue-it was that good. i could NOT put it down, i was immediately hooked on tiffany and her conflicting demeanor. her character blossomed so amazingly, although the ebook format was a little confusing with the pictures. the ending felt kinda rushed, like it built up all to this moment and the moment couldโve been more dragged out, instead of just a few pages. like what happened between the time of the starlight explosion and her meeting stewart? weโll never know! but overall, what a well written female character! i wouldโve loved a little bit more on ethanโs background, but it suffices enough to not feel like a total stranger. overall 4.75!!
