This was a super cute and fun read! Love Ethan and Tiffany’s vibe together. Also a big Taylor Swift fan so the lyrics were fun to see! Thank you Netgalley for this ARC.
My first time dipping my toes into medical romance books, but I figure if I love Grey's Anatomy, I'll love this!
Enemies to lovers is always a win in my book and these two really start out as true rivals!
The duel timeline aspect was also fun when reading as it kept me on my toes!
This book kept me on my toes. The love and chemistry between the two characters was unbelievable!! I have read a lot of the medical romances, but this one was a knock out of the ball park!!
This book was a fun read, found the story to be interesting, especially with the added suspense in the book of Tiffany past. I loved the two main characters went from Enemies to Lovers, Ethan saved her and Ethan gave her safe space. Tiffany had a hard life, and I loved how she could overcome her past, better self. We all need to remember no matter how bad things are there is a rainbow, positive outcome.
This book was such a nice and pleasant surprise!
Being part of the health care system can make me extremely picky when reading medical romances (because they are sometimes completly innacurate)! This wasn't the case at all, on this one. It gives so many true concepts and experiences that it was nice to read.
This, added to the addictive story we have ahead of us makes this book a good gem!
Tiffany is a stong, independent woman that had to toughen up when she was a child, and make several had and wrong choices. Regardless, she made it trough and is in her dream job, being a Radiology resident and she is thriving. When Ethan arrives and starts being a part of her reality as her rival she feels threatened and builds her wall way up high. What she doesn't expect is him being the complete opposite of what she imagined him to be. And she surely dosn't expect that by being the most sweet and caring man, starts to breack those walls, one by one.
But as the walls crumble down she is afraid that he discovers her secrets and that she might loose him when the truth comes out.
Since the beguining we have the book in Tiffany's POV, but the dual timeline allows us to really understand what she went through as a child/teenager and gives us insight on why she acts the way she does. It explains her fears and is added to the present story perfectly.
Even though the book has a true ending and an HEA, there are so many questions lingering in the air... I trully want to read the next ones in this world to learn those answers.
✨ 3.5/5 stars ✨
I requested this book because of the medical/doctor background, as I work in the medical field. It also interested me because the location of the story is near where I live, so I connected with that.
This was a fun and romantic read with thriller-ish aspects. There are flashbacks to childhood, of which the present day FMC is trying to bury. She does not want her history of catch up with her, but inevitably it does and she is forced to deal with it. I loved the tension between Tiffany (FMC) and Ethan. I feel like there are some loose ends that were not tied up at the end of the story, but there is an author’s note stating there fill be future books dealing with these plot lines. While there is a happy ending, there are several plot lines that are still unresolved. I also felt that the relationships could be better developed. It was a good read, but I don’t think it was outstanding to me.
Going into a book blindly, I sometimes recommend. I did not know what to expect when I saw the title of this book. At first, I expected it to be cheesy, not going to lie. However, I found myself connecting to the characters, I fell in love instantly with Ethan and Tiffany. They had such amazing chemistry throughout the book.I knew from the first couple chapters that I would be giggling throughout this book and it did not disappoint! The suspense aspect was really well done and I was so eager to find out what truly happened in the past that's come back to haunt her in the present. What was she running away from and why does she need to hide it from Ethan? I kept trying to figure out what could've happened and who could've done what the whole time. That plot slowly unravels over the years of the past chapters.

This had such a mix of emotions. I really enjoy a STEM romance and this was really fun to explore. A good choice of romcom for Greys Anatomy fans!
Thank you to netgalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond for this ARC.
I appreciated every aspect of this story. It was deeper than just a romance between two people; there was a very well thought-out subplot. I adored both of the main characters and related to their struggles. Every plot felt so real, including poverty, never reaching your family's expectations, forgiveness, success comes from sacrifice, and grieving the ones you love. Dymond knows how to balance romance and serious suspense. The writing format was so easy to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The only word to describe this book is perfection. Added to my top reads of the year. This book is my new personality.
“Over the years, I’ve learned that trying to use words as comfort at these times turns into an argument. It’s like she believes sympathy is an attack on her sadness. Like it’s a way of saying she has overreacted.”
I’ve seen this book all over Instagram, and it only fueled my curiosity to pick it up. I’m really excited to dive into it because I enjoy doctor romances—though, to be honest, I have no medical knowledge myself. What draws me in is how these stories blend intelligence with the usual heartwarming feelings. However, this book didn’t quite meet my expectations.
Rather than being a true doctor romance, the characters just happened to be doctors. The story focused heavily on the female lead, Tiffany, and her “traumatic” past, while Ethan’s story felt sidelined. I would have loved to see more of his perspective to better understand his character, but I found that lacking in the book.
The book was an easy, laid-back read, touching on romance and the emotional connection between the leads. But I was left wanting more—more depth, more answers. I couldn’t shake the feeling that Ethan had some connection to Tiffany’s past, and I was eagerly awaiting a big climactic moment that never fully materialized. Despite this, I might still check out the other books in the series because I’m curious about her mother’s journey.
I want to thank NetGalley and Victory Editing for providing me with this ARC.
Tiffany is training to be a radiologist. In a presentation, she is corrected by a man in the audience. Dr Washburn, her boss, asks her to interview someone for a first-year radiology position. Tiffany, finds to her irritation that it is the same guy who questioned her in the presentation - Ethan Clark. He is from Cleveland, and his parents are doctors. Their professional interaction kicks off on the wrong foot. Ethan is very good looking, talkative and charming; and he finds Tiffany’s aloof attitude (a few refer to her as “ice queen” behind her back) to be fascinating. Tiffany receives some text and images from an unknown number alluding to her past, which she finds disturbing.
I liked the backstories for both Tiffany and Ethan. The characters are well developed., and I enjoyed the dynamic between them. The later part of the story is predictable and a couple of threads are quite needlessly left open.
The writing style plows well enough and doesn't feel too stagnant at any given time. There were times where the dialogue became kind of out of place with the characters' personalities, but it wasn't very noticeable in the overall feel of the characters.
I very much appreciated the list of triggers at the beginning of the book and feel that this benefits a lot of readers.
Overall, a 3.75 Stars, this is a nice light read for the most part, which I enjoyed.
This book was a great read. I just absolutely adored the characters. I’m definitely a fan of Melissa Damond’s work and look forward to more of her books. The whole reverse grumpy-sunshine with forced proximity was great. Will definitely be adding the physical copy to my shelf!
Dr. Tiffany Heart is known for being upright immune to the charms of men until Dr. Ethan Clark comes into her life. He is able to take down her walls and get her to open up about her past. A suspenseful workplace romance that will make you swoon!
Paging Dr. Hart was a wild ride! The dual timeline kept me guessing, and I loved piecing together Tiffany's past. The twist knocked me on my butt - I definitely didn't see that coming! The romance between Tiffany and Ethan was sweet, but the suspenseful plot really stole the show. It's not your typical medical romance, that's for sure. Thanks to Melissa Dymond for a thrilling read and to NetGalley for the ARC!

Ohh boy. Ethan and Tiffany, where do I even start. I don’t think Ethan can have a red flag tied to him at all. Ethan comes in and changes Tiffany’s world. She went from stressed at work and ready for the light at the end of the tunnel to in love and opening up. Ethan is a sweetheart. I love the small Taylor swift references. This reminds me a little of the show Private Practice.
Melissa you had me hooked. This was a great read. This was my first book form Melissa and I am excited to see what she has for us next.
I would highly recommend this as your next read!
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.
I am currently dealing with a lot of medical things in my personal life and for that reason I haven't been reading a lot of medical stories.
But this grumpy/sunshine got me as I love a good grumpy/sunshine story. The relationship between Tiffany and Ethan was good, I enjoyed the development of their rivals to lovers trope.
There were times I was becoming disengaged, but I think that was only a personal thing due to my circumstance.
All in all, This was a good, fun read :)
There was a lot going on in this book. At first I really liked it then the subplots made me lose interest but enjoyed reading it. Thanks for the free copy NetGalley!
Really enjoyed this story and all it's characters and twist and turns. As a retired nurse it brought back lots of laughs a and emotions along the way.
Loved this book! Had the perfect mix of comedy, romance, and suspense. You learned about Tiffany and how she became who she is by glances at the past and the past coming to haunt her. I fell in love with the characters Tiffy and Ethan and can't wait to read more of their stories!

This book had a lot going on. It was very Wattpaddy however I was invested in the main character's relationship. The characters past was a little to unbelievable to me. And the specific ending scene did not make sense to me towards the story other then to set up a sequel. I will say I do want to know more about what they were talking about and liked that mystery more then the plot of the books mystery. It had a lot of great ideas that I wish would have been done a little better. I felt like we harped on the wrong traumatic event. Like she say something traumatic but we were more stuck on her like minor actions and she really did not do much. That all being said I want to know about her father so will probably be on the look out for the book about her parents. Also the random Disney plot was also odd to me. If you are like me and were a Wattpad girly I do recommend cause i def took be back to that time lol. If not, its most likely not for you.
