Dr. Tiffany Hart has worked hard to get to her vocation as a radiologist. That involved losing people growing up, resulting in not forming relationships, giving her the title Ice Queen at the hospital. She is asked to mentor Dr. Ethan Clark and together they are to establish a month rotation in radiology at the hospital where Ethan started. When Tiffany was a little girl, her mom needed to work, and she was left with Brandi who had a daughter Shelly. Being friends with Shelly resulted in some activities she is not proud of and friends that she wants to avoid. Ethan finds Tiffany very attractive and does his best to win her over. He is very considerate, bringing her favorite coffee, allowing her to choose what they do, and even running to her rescue when she is kidnapped. Both Ethan and Tiffany have ghosts from the past. They just need to trust enough to share them. This is a great book. Full of love with mystery and adventure thrown in.
Paging Dr. Hart

Paging Dr. Hart follows the heartwarming journey of Dr. Tiffany Hart, who due to a rough start in life has emotional walls made of barbed wire around her heart with no intention of bringing them down and opening herself up to be betrayed again. As in every emotionally unavailable girl who’s struggling with abandonment issues dreams, along comes Dr Ethan Clark, a tall, Golden Retriever of a man who sees through her prickliness and sarcasm. I really enjoyed their banter and push and pull while they were falling for each other, as well as the sneaky Taylor Swift song lyrics scattered in there! What I wasn’t expecting was the flashback chapters to Tiffany’s growing up years. I felt like I got a free book within a book! Although I am team Tiffy and Ethan and am such a fan of their journey together, the flashbacks did introduce a dark bad boy character, Rafe, whom I am still rooting for to get his own romance and happy ending! I really enjoyed the book and will read the following books in this world. 5 stars from me!
Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced release copy of Paging Dr. Hart. I’d really give this book 3.5 or 3.75 stars. It was a good book and the plot kept me interested the whole time. However, I felt the ending was a bit abrupt and stories were rushed. I also didn’t like that it ended on a cliffhanger (sort of) and had to read the epilogue in a separate website link. If that had been included in the actual novel it would have been 4 stars no doubt. I was happy to see the enemies/colleagues Ethan and Tiffany turn to roommates, friends, and then more than friends! I read this in one sitting too because I couldn’t put it down! Ethan is the definition of a green flag and is the perfect match for Tiffany. A sequel would even be great for these two!
Love love loved this book. I don’t always love when the characters progress through love letters/notes etc, but I loved how the author weaved in parts from Rosie and Aiden’s book. The chemistry was palpable and made me believe in their connection.
The enemies to lovers trope is my favourite one and the author did a fantastic job!
I absolutely love this sweet and heart-warming story!
Loveable characters, short chapters and great writing style kept my eyes glued to my kindle!
I really like seeing Tiffany’s character development throughout this story – how she battles her fear and grief to become someone who embraces love, hope and happiness once more.
And then there’s Ethan, the sweetest and most supportive person ever!
He and Tiffany make such a great couple, I enjoy the time where they opened up and teased each other as well which eventually lead to a few delightful hot and spicy scenes!
The ending is quite satisfying even though there are several unanswered questions, especially regarding Tiffany's past.
That's why I'm looking forward to read the next book which the author has promised to tell about Tiffany's parents and hopefully those questions will get answers.
Overall, this is a very entertaining and enjoyable read, such a page turner!
Highly recommended to those who would want to read a sweet workplace enemies-to-lovers romance!

I absolutely loved this book! This was such a great mix of suspense, romance, and drama, I was sucked in so quickly
This is a book about acceptance ,forgiveness and make amends with yourself ,all the versions of you!!! I loved every second reading it and the past pov of Tiffany made my heart melt and shatter into million pieces !! Tiffany is a survivor and Ethan is the most sympathize person ever!!! I think that it would be nice to find more about Shelly (past and future ) and Stewart and I hope that I will, in the upcoming books by Dr.melissa .I liked Mr Chen and the importance of his role in Tiffany's life !! All the characters were well developed and the Dr . Melissa touched my soul with her writing ✍️.
This is a slow burn romance but when the spicy hits its all over the place 🔥🔥
The bonus epilogue from Fred's the cat 🐈 pov was a fun take and an interesting one 😀 I highly recommend 👌 this book to all my fellow booklovers and I thank NetGalley for the Arc in exchange for my honest opinion ❤️🙏
Normally I love rom com‘s but I wasn’t enjoying this one. I disliked the characters. I didn’t feel the urge to read this book
Paging Dr Hart by Dr. Melissa Dymond is a medical romantic thriller - the best of three worlds. I loved how the author blended the three aspects together into a light and interesting read, with likeable characters. Even the villian was likeable. There was also the lesson of dealing with your past, letting go of every guilt and fear to be able to open yourself to love. This was a great read. Thank you, Netgalley for giving me this book in exchange for my honest review
“I haven’t felt this protective since Shelly. It’s stupid because this is Ethan we’re talking about. He doesn’t need my help.”
Paging Dr Hart is a multi-faceted romance. The first intriguing thing is that you can read a soft or a spicy version. The version I had was the latter, and steamy it was. It is a medical romance, but it also prominently features the MFC’s childhood in Las Vegas, which turns into suspense (on the verge of mafia). I have to admit, I wish I had known that before, because it took me aback.
I loved the medical romance part and both characters, as much as their psychological evolution. Tiffany is a top resident, completely dedicated to her job, afraid of engaging relationships with people, no matter if these are friendships or more. I loved her, her insecurities, and the roots of them, in her early childhood. Ethan, the MMC, is also very interesting, and their relationship’s development was cute, full of beautiful moments and original (I think about the forced proximity part in particular, I ADORED that moment in the book). He’s cocky but he supports her fully, helps her to open, and that’s something I adore in romances.
I was less thrilled by the second storyline, linked to Tiffany’s background. I don’t read a lot of suspense, and I don’t read any mafia related books at all, and –and that’s 100% on me– I didn’t understand it would be that kind of scenario engaged here. It’s not that it wasn’t good (though some parts weren’t realistic, especially regarding character’s motivations and blackmail –when medical parts were, which created a little gap), just that it wasn’t for me.
But if you want a medical romance that is also woven with suspense and crimes, then you’ll love this book.
(Also, I would like to add a special mention for all the adorable illustrations that are in the book, that’s original and I loved it.)
Thank you NetGalley and Dr Melissa Dymond for the ARC. My opinions are my own.
(Rate 3.5/5]
Wow! I give it a solid 4.5 stars. Only thing missing is that there isn’t dual POV, which I really enjoy in a book. I came in reading this book thinking it to be just a romantic novel like any other, with a medical aspect. Boy was I wrong! The book has a dual timeline which only makes it more suspenseful. Sure it had some romance but also talks of a heart wrenching, tragic past. All I can say is I cannot wait to read another of her books, whether it’s of the same storyline or another story altogether!
This was a very interesting book. I really did enjoy it. There were some details of the story where I didn't feel it was pertinent to the storyline and kind made it seem like it was dragging it out. Overall a fun read.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
Paging Dr. Hart is a fun mix of enemies to lovers with a mysterious background that could potentially derail this fledgling relationship.
This book was hard for me to put down and next thing I know I’m thinking one more chapter before I go to bed. This medical story has a little spice, drama, humor and sad moments in it. The backstory really is what pulls you into this book. You can see how much Ethan loves to push the limits with Tiffany just to get her attention. The love-hate Tiffany has for Ethan is so adorable. I found myself laughing out loud many times.
This was a fun and suspenseful book. It was hard to put down. I stayed up till 1am finishing it. I really liked Ethan’s character. I especially enjoyed the flashbacks into Tiffany’s past. They were my favorite part. I wish there had been a little more hinting to the twist in the epilogue. Overall a fun read!
This was my first non-romantasy book of the year and it did NOT disappoint. Found family, secrets from the past, mafia, doctors, reverse grumpy x sunshine. Dr. Tiffany Hart is running from her past and has made it her life mission to build up her walls to keep people out...until Ethan Clark. I've never wanted a golden retriever boyfriend until I met Ethan. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of the books with the other characters because I cannot wait for Rafe's book!
It was so cute, and with some suspense! I enjoyed Dr. Melissa Dymond's first book and was glad I got to read this one too! Fun story and characters.
Thank you NetGalley and Dr. Melissa Dymond!
**Review of "Paging Dr. Hart" by Dr. Melissa Dymond - 4 Stars**
"Paging Dr. Hart" by Dr. Melissa Dymond is a captivating medical romance that skillfully blends passion, suspense, and emotional depth. The novel revolves around Dr. Tiffany Hart, known as the "Ice Queen" of the hospital, and Dr. Ethan Clark, a new hire who is determined to break through her frosty exterior.
Dr. Tiffany Hart, scarred by a past filled with danger and betrayal, maintains a cold and distant demeanor at work. However, her resolve begins to waver when she meets the annoyingly charming and ridiculously handsome Dr. Ethan Clark. Despite her best efforts to stay immune to his charms, his persistent kindness and attention to her preferences slowly chip away at her defenses.
Ethan Clark, on the other hand, is eager to step out of his family's shadow and make a name for himself. His transfer to Tiffany's hospital is the perfect opportunity, especially when he finds himself irresistibly drawn to the fiery redhead tasked with training him. Although Tiffany often seems ready to punch him, Ethan can't deny the intense chemistry between them and vows to thaw her icy heart.
The plot takes an exciting turn when both doctors are sent back to Ethan's home hospital and then to a medical conference at Disney World, forcing them into close quarters. The tension escalates as Tiffany's dark past catches up with them, leading to a thrilling fight for their lives. Amidst the danger, their relationship deepens, and they must navigate their feelings to find a path to happiness.
Dr. Dymond excels in creating well-rounded characters with palpable chemistry. Tiffany and Ethan's slow-burn romance is engaging, and their transformation from adversaries to lovers is both believable and heartwarming. The added element of suspense keeps readers on the edge of their seats, making this book a true page-turner.
However, the storyline occasionally feels predictable, and some plot twists can be anticipated. Despite these minor flaws, the strong character development and emotional depth more than compensate, making "Paging Dr. Hart" an enjoyable read.
Overall, "Paging Dr. Hart" deserves 4 stars. It is a delightful medical romance that offers a perfect blend of enemies-to-lovers tension, forced proximity, and pulse-pounding suspense. Fans of the genre will find themselves thoroughly entertained and invested in Tiffany and Ethan's journey to love and redemption.

The story centres on Dr Tiffany Hart, a final-year radiology resident with a reputation for being studious and reserved, and her meeting Ethan Clark, a ‘Mr Nice Guy’- first-year resident. Given the competitive nature of hospital residencies, there is an initial reluctance on Tiffany’s behalf to relax into a friendship. However, circumstances will put them together both in and out of the hospital wards providing an opportunity for Tiffany and Ethan to get to know each other and their origin stories. The relationship begins to blossom but Tiffany has withheld some of her truths and they may yet come back to haunt her.
I was swept along in Tiffany and Ethan’s story. The dual timeline was not jarring and provided the reader with essential insight into Tiffany’s commitment to her aspirations, her inner imposter and self-preserving emotional tendencies. The suspense subplot really kicked the overall story up a notch for me. Ethan is a delightful book boyfriend offering boundless patience, gentle protectiveness and contrast to Tiffany’s sometimes prickly exterior.
The author shows a storytelling skill that keeps the pace rolling along and characters showing development within context. I appreciated the author not “talking down” to the reader in the hospital jargon. Paging Dr Hart was a highly enjoyable read and I look forward to following this author in the future.
With many thanks to NetGalley and the author, Dr Melissa Dymond for the eARC to read. All opinions and grammar mistakes are my own.
This was a very cute book that was a little bit mystery and a little bit romance. I thought that there could have been a bit more character development, but overall, it was a cute, easy read. I really liked the characters and flew through it!
