Thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing group for the digital ARC of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I just discovered the Little People, Big Dreams book series and find them a great way to introduce non-fiction to the younger set. I wish this series had been around when my kids were little, as well-written early reader books about real people are hard to come by.

The story of Stan Lee reads like a comic book, so this illustrated early reader biography hits the right notes. I like that this book gets to the major points in Lee's very extraordinary life and impact on not only comic books, but popular culture as a whole, and that a more in-depth biographical timeline is included at the end.

Stan Lee

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is one of the books in the Little People, Big Dreams series which I've seen absolutely everywhere, but only just started working my way through! (I know ....where have I been!?)

I'm loving reading these books as picking people I only know a little or nothing about means I learn new things....
However, I could not resist this particular one - I absolutely adore Stan Lee!

I can't say that I knew too much about him - but I (and the family) are obsessed with all things Marvel and it was brilliant to read this one out loud to my youngest.

We loved that Stan started out as an inkwell filler in his first job - just look how far he came!

My son was a little sad that his name isn't Stan Lee really - but I feel that it's so close to his real name that it was ok.

Apart from loving Marvel and Stan, I also have a passion for reading, so it was great to see how he grew up constantly with his nose in a book! And funny that he would read the food labels if he had no book around - I'm sure many of us can relate to this!

This was a super quick read - full of information - but told in a way that was interesting and fun.
The illustrations were great too, with lots of detail to look at and prompt discussion with younger readers.

This series is actually amazing and I really must add more to my tbr - there are over 100 books in the series already and, like this one, many more still being added.

Great for school libraries, classroom learning, home education shelves and for any of us adults who just love reading!

💕Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my ARC copy - this is my honest review 💕

This is my first look into the Little People, Big Dreams series and I am honestly excited to continue to check out more of these books. This one in particular did not disappoint. I grew up reading comics by Stan Lee and enjoy so many of them as well as his movies. It’s always fun seeing him make quick appearances in his movies and I loved that this children’s book included that little tidbit. The illustrations were well done and there were even a few details of his life that were new to me thanks to this book. It was a wonderful and well thought out children’s story book of how Stan Lee began and journeyed through his lifelong adventure and career in comics. A great read for kids and adults that are fans of comics and the late and great Stan Lee. He contributed so much to the comic book world.

Thanks so much Quarto Publishing- Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, mMaria Isabel Sanchez Vegara, and NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book.

I didn't know a lot about Stan Lee and think a child would love hearing how he made he created the Avengers stories, I loved the illustrations and how they resembled comic books. Was a great read.

I absolutely love the Little People, Big Dreams series. As a momma, I love learning about real people, and for my kiddos it's not only educational, but inspiring to them.
Stan Lee was one of my favorites in this series. It challenges them to pursue their dreams and work hard
Will read this again and again with my boys!

Love the Little People, Big Dreams series of books! This book is another cracker to add to the collection!
(I didn't realise that Stan Lee was a soldier in WW2!)

The illustrations are pretty poor in this book - very very loosely looks like Lee - feel like the illustrations have not been as good in the more recent books.

Nevertheless, It's a brilliant book and another classic in the Little People, Big Dreams series!

Hey who doesn't want to read a bio book for kids about one of the most influential and popular comic book creator? Enjoyed this one so much because of how Stan Lee means to be as a comic book reader. Introduce your kids to this writer who created such iconic characters like Spider-Man, Ironman and more. It's a cool companion book for your little ones who likes the MCU.

My kids absolutely love these series of books! I was so excited to see this on NetGalley, since we are also big fans of marvel. The illustrations of these books are so well done and cute, and I love how they give the story of the persons life in a way that makes sense to little kids. I definitely will be purchasing the hardcopy of this once it is out!

Oh, how I adore this series!

I have to say I am not a huge comic fan, so I didn't know who Stan Lee was .Oops!!

It was great to know about him. How the empire started and the way he achieved his dream.

I hope he is aware of the huge change he has made to the world with his art!

Also, I LOVED the artwork!! I usually enjoy them all but this one was especially cute!

Thank you so much NetGalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange of a honest review.

I didn't know much about Stan Lee before reading this! What an excellent little story—it kept me entertained and packed quite a punch. A must-read for any comic book fan kid! While the art in this one isn't my favorite, it's still pretty adorable.

I LOVE these Little People Big Dreams books. They are such a great way to introduce children to inspiring people. As someone who loves the work of Stan Lee, this book was a super approachable way to learn how he became the comic book genius that he is. I think any adult who loves Stan Lee needs this book to read to their children to begin to introduce them to the world that Stan Lee created. It also is super cool to see how Stan got his start, and it all came from a love of reading as a child.

I really enjoyed this cute book on Stan Lee and learned quite a bit about him.
Written for kids and to be inspirational, this book does an amazing job covering Stan Lee's childhood and what got him in to comics.
Illustrations are great and fun to look at.
Would definitely recommend.

I work in the comic book industry & I learned more about Stan Lee in this children’s book than I have through work. It reminds kids that if you continue to do what you love to do, you’ll find success in your dreams.

I loved the art and how simple and whimsical it is to draw kids in. The story makes me feel nostalgic, and sad, but it's a fun and simple way for kids to learn about Stan. He leaves behind a strong legacy. The one page where he said he read anything he could get his hands on, even the back of a ketchup bottle, stands out to me. What a sweet way to remember a great person.

Biographies are such a fantastic way for kids to learn history and this series is probably my favorite. They're appropriate for very young children and they introduce kids to extraordinary individuals.
Of course, Stan Lee was a trailblazer and he left a huge impact on modern culture. The most amazing part of his life is that he was ordinary and relatable in so many ways. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

This is my favorite LPBD yet!! I grew up in a house that valued Marvel and have always been a big fan. I remember learning about Stan Lee many many years ago, but this book was a really nice memory jog. Once again, I think that the Little People Big Dreams books are great for people of all ages and I can’t wait to buy them and read them to my babies!
