This is a sweet childrens book with a cute art style. I love this series since it teaches very basic history to younger children and i honestly thought it was nice to learn a little about stan lee as well. I love the very detailed but yet kinda simplistic art style since it gives kids a lot to look and point at

Another fabulous addition to my collection of Little People, Big Dreams books. Young (and not so young) comic book readers will enjoy this book, I even learned a few new things myself! Love the last page, it has a wonderful message for children and young readers😊

This was a great age appropriate way for children to learn about Stan Lee. I have reviewed advance copies of quite a few Little People Big Dreams books and would recommend them all for children to learn about public figures. They incorporate great messages like being creative and working hard.

Nice little story about Stan Lee's life and career with fun art as always. This will definitely be a hit with kids who are a big fan of Spider-Man and other of Stan Lee's creations.

The Little People, BIG DREAMS series never disappoints. I couldn’t of been more excited when I saw there newest release would be about comic book legend Stan Lee. I think the illustrations along with the story of his life help grab kids attentions and help introduce them to the world of comic books.

Pros: I adore the Little People Big Dreams series of children's books and find myself requesting each one on NetGalley because I end up learning something from them. I think it's fantastic that these books for children focus on the famous person as a child and how they came to be the person the world knows. The attention to detail in the illustrations of each book is always impressive and shows the care given to each subject. Specifically to this book about Stan Lee, I generally know a good bit about the subjects of these books, but I knew nothing about Stan Lee before reading this, so I especially enjoyed reading this book. I would absolutely gift it to my comic book and Marvel-loving friends, especially for baby showers or for kids' birthdays.

Cons: None! I can't wait to read more in this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Frances Lincoln Children's Books for the opportunity to read this book.

Maria brings the creator of Spiderman to life. Inspiring and a true portrayal of passion , the story of Stan Lee is a must read for any child, whether they are into comic books or not. Maria really captured the dedication and perseverance of Lee in the latest addition to the Little People Big Dreams books.

Once again Maria writes a gorgeous books, about a brilliant icon. I have also been a fan of Stan lee so I jumped at the chance to read this to my kids. My oldest is getting into super heroes so it was brilliant to show him who created some of his favourite characters

It was a joy to read and the illustrations are beautiful and eye catching

What's not to love about the Little People, Big Dreams collection?

My little girls adore the illustrations as they're so colourful and cute. Stan Lee is such a cultural icon and a wonderful inspiration. The book highlights his passion for writing and creating flawed superheroes that readers of all generations could be in awe of, but also relate to. It touches very briefly on his time in the war, the creation of The Fantastic Four with Jack Kirby, his foundation and his job at Timley Comics which later became Marvel.

My only criticism is the length. Like most books in the collection, it's short and sweet, but there's definitely potential for more insight into this absolute legend.

This was a concise, colourful and educational book designed to inspire curious little minds which both my little girls (5 & 7-years-old) loved and are looking forward to adding to their growing collection.

I am a huge fan of Stan Lee and this was basically a quick introduction to him.
The art was okay, not really my style and the book was very short.

Another amazing book by Little People Big Dreams. I love this series and Stan Lee is such a good addition. Everyone knows the Avengers and the man behind their creation. Stan Lee is beloved and iconic and this book is an awesome introduction to how he rose to infamy. I really loved the colors palate the illustrator chose, it has that super hero feel. Excellent read!

A very interesting and easy to follow story of the man behind the popular Marvel characters. This graphic novel introduces Stan Lee and how he persevered in following his passion and becoming a successful comic creator. The illustrations fit the narrative perfectly. This is a great way to introduce children to the non fiction genre.

This is a wonderful addition to a great series. It was so interesting to learn about Stan Lee's life and was a really inspiring tale about the power of creativity and the impact it can make on the world.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

As the book said, even one person can make a difference - and Stanley Martin Leiber did that for an entire world.

This series is always a pleasure, but I particularly enjoyed this one as it’s both a creative person featured but also one who had a truly impactful career. The art style is whimsical and retro and is a lovely homage to Stan Lee.
