An incredibly twisty thriller involving the secrets surrounding some marriages and friendships and the harm they can cause. Gripping from the very beginning, impossible to put down. A five star, must read.

4.5 stars for this one! (5 stars means I would read it again) I will say I would absolutely read from this author again.

She gipped me and had me paying attention the whole time. The suspense was great, although I feel like I was suspicious of who was in on it and even the surprise twist, I wasn't fully sure until I read it. The build was great and the unraveling at the end kept me on my toes.

Absolutely recommend this book!

Wow. I had to read the majority of the book in just one go — action and pacing really pick up right before the middle of the book. There is no conclusive ending, but I think readers can piece together what happens next. I enjoyed this book. But it was also scary. To read how someone can thoroughly ruin someone else’s life was overwhelming at times. This book lands firmly in the thriller category for me (not quite mystery).

It is a bit obvious who the terrible people are in this book (and there are many), but it was a good book nonetheless. I recommend reading it, especially when you have free time to read it in one sitting!

Thanks to Sue Watson, Bookouture, and NetGalley for the advanced copy!

One Marriage. Three People. One Murder.

You = Tom
Me = Rachel
Her = Chloe - Maybe?

In You Me Her, we are following the lives of the Frazer family; Rachel, her husband Tom, and their 4-year-old son Sam.

Rachel's dad died and left her with a large sum of money as an inheritance. Rachel and Sam are currently staying in her hometown, while Tom is spending the inheritance money to give Rachel the home of her dreams in another town. Tom is handling all the decisions that come along with fixing up a house: tile, paint color, garden, etc.

When Rachel and Sam move into the new house, Rachel is hoping to leave tragedy behind and finally be able to get on with her life. Rachel loves the new house, but she is very concerned about all the money being spent.

In walks Chloe, a younger, very pretty girl. She does not knock she just lets herself right in. Chloe is shocked to see that Rachel is there. Tom plays it off and says that Chloe works with the real estate agency and that's why she has keys to their house.

Quote: "But nothing is ever quite what it seems, and storm clouds can gather quickly."

Rachel befriends Chloe and they begin to spend lots of time together. Tom does not like this at all because he has told Rachel that Chloe is very dangerous and should not be trusted. Strange things start happening at the house. Sam sees things. Rachel sees things.

Is Tom being overdramatic?
Can Chloe be trusted?
Is Rachel going crazy?

You Me Her by Sue Watson has twists and turns aplenty. I trusted no one. There are several characters that play a role in this story. All of them - sketchy! You will not know who to believe. Sue does a good job with that. There's just something not quite right with each one of them, you just cannot put your finger on it.

Secrets
Fear
Lies
Friendship
Betrayal

I try not to go too in depth with thriller reviews, because I think they are better gone into blind. I did enjoy You Me Her. I thought I had it figured out, but I did not. If you like domestic trillers, I would recommend putting this one on your list.

Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review You Me Her.

Oh my gosh. This book!!! I love thrillers that have twists and turns and don’t seem predictable and that’s exactly what Sue Watson has done with this book. Everytime I thought I had figured out what was going on a plot twist happened. It kept me gripped throughout. I could hardly put it down to go to bed. At times I felt like parts were slightly repetitive which led to me not being able to give it 5 stars but I really did enjoy this. I’m usually a romance reader so I thought this was a step out my comfort zone but I loved this book. And don’t even get me started on the last chapter. Jaw dropped. Thank you so much NetGalley for letting me read this book early! 4 stars from me.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave....

WOWZA! You, Me, Her is a gripping, thrilling, shocking, and dramatic page turner! I did not want to put this book down! Sue Watson delivers time and time again! I was enticed by the synopsis of this book and once I began reading, I found myself completely glued to the pages, addicted to the drama, riveted by the mystery, and shocked by the secrets!!!! Sue Watson knocked it out of the ballpark with You, Me, Her!

Woohoo!!!!

Rachel has recently inherited a lot of money and has trusted her husband, Tom, to get their new home ready. When she and their son finally move in, she is apprehensive but ready for their new fresh start in their new to them home. When Chloe, a young estate agent, shows up and lets herself into their home, Tom tells Rachel not to trust her. But Rachel needs a friend....

This addictive psychological thriller kept me on my toes wanting more. This book was so much fun! I loved the drama, the tension, the secrets, the lies, the not knowing who I could trust or who was telling the truth! There were times when I thought I had this book figured out, but Sue Watson was always one step ahead of me, throwing in twist after twist.

Gripping, shocking, thrilling, and dramatic!

"You Me Her" by Sue Watson is an engaging psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of love, betrayal, and identity. The novel revolves around a husband, a wife, & a Chloe, each intricately linked by a shared secret that unravels as the story progresses.

Watson's writing is compelling, with well-drawn characters and a plot that keeps the reader guessing. The alternating perspectives add depth to the narrative, allowing readers to connect with each character's motives and emotions. The twists and turns are well-executed, making it difficult to put the book down.

However, some plot developments feel somewhat predictable, and the pacing occasionally drags, especially in the middle sections. While the characters are generally well-developed, certain motivations and actions can seem forced or overly dramatic.

Overall, "You Me Her" is a solid thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre. Its strengths lie in its character development and suspenseful atmosphere, though it may not fully satisfy readers looking for completely unpredictable twists. A 3.5-star read rounded up, because it is a worthwhile pick for those who enjoy exploring the darker aspects of human relationships.

When dreams become nightmares! I could not put this book down - compelling and chilling. Twisty and terrifying. A perfect book to take on holiday.

One seemingly perfect marriage and the perfect house to match? All is not what it seems as poor Rachel finds out when she makes the big move with her son from Manchester to Cornwall to reunite with her husband. All seems well until her greatest fears are incorporated into her dream home, what starts off as a dream quickly turns to a nightmare.

I don’t know what Sue put in this book but I ate it up! It was written so well I really did struggle to put it down to adult. Usually I can work out the twist before it happens but everytime I thought I knew, I wasn’t even close. It is my 1st five star read of 2024.

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to start by saying I wish I could get one thriller/mystery story that could survive without the MC being a total moron. 😭 Like so much could’ve been avoided if Rachel didn’t do things that I feel like normal people wouldn’t do. And I know some people say “if they acted like normal people there would be no story”, but to that I say, I believe there is an author somewhere who can make a gripping tale without relying heavily on things that I have to suspend my common sense to believe. Anyways I figured out the ending at about 45% into the book but I wasn’t positive until about 58% in. All in all I really did enjoy this book, I finished it in a day so that should tell you that it does keep you engrossed. Rachel can get a bit repetitive and again repeatedly make dumb decisions but she wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen (I’m looking at you Millie from the Housemaid 🤣) Lol. Funnily enough I never liked Tom, he just never displayed anything worth liking, but I get why Rachel would be so attached since she met him at such a pivotal time in her life. Chloe Chloe Chloe 🥹. I can’t really say too much more without being spoiler-y so what I will say is go and get your copy and read for yourself. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for this ARC.

I feel that the author has such writing skill, the plot and the pace of her novels are always so on point, this

Wow what can I say this author has done it again with another fast paced incredible edge of your seat page turning psychological thriller full of twists and turns and secrets and lies which make you question who can you trust and who do you believe.

Highly recommend if you are looking for a jaw dropping read and want something to grip your attention this summer.

Sue Watson's "You, Me, Her" thriller is a real page-turner, with twists and turns that keep you guessing. Every character's got something shady going on, making the final twist a real jaw-dropper. Rachel can be a bit frustrating with her naivety, but it adds to the suspense. The tension builds up nicely.

This book kept me feeling the suspense the entire time I read it and I truly enjoyed the ride. The characters feel real, the writing flows, and I'll definitely be recommending it to everyone! Shoutout to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC!

Many thanks to netgalley, the author and the publisher for approving my request to read this book.

This is the first book I've read by this author after it caught my eye and I'm so glad I spotted it!

You, me, her is an utterly compelling psychological thriller that consumed me from the get go, I absolutely devoured it- I simply had to know how it was going to end.

This book is so well written with very relatable characters and a twisty, heart pounding and at points heart breaking story line, this is one not to be missed if you enjoy this particular genre. I'm looking forward to reading more from the author in the future.

Thank you Goodreads for allowing me early access to this book.
This was overall a good book, I didn't quite guess the ending but I would say I did wonder as it was revealed.
Only reason I knocked off 2 stars, firstly the main character got on my nerves. A bit annoying in the sense she didn't have a backbone at parts, and also I didn't feel OMG gripped so hence it's a 3 star read
I will still recommend this book, it'd be something easy to read by the pool (no pun intended) kinda book for me.
I'd also say it's very true to Sue Watson's usual style so if you love her you'll love this!

Sue Watson writes really well and I find her characters quite true to life.
I did enjoy this book and it did have me turning the pages very quickly.
Rachel finds herself moving to Cornwall from Manchester after an inheritance from her dad helps her and her husband, Tom, to buy a huge house with enough money to completely refurbish it.
Tom lives there without Rachel and their 4 year old son, Sam, so that he can do it up. I did find this strange as if it was me, I’d want to have a say in it but Rachel seems to be happy with this arrangement.
Having been left to his own devices, Tom has become somewhat friendly with the estate agent, Chloe, and Rachel becomes very suspicious.
There’s a lot going on but just enough characters so that you don’t get lost.
I did guess the twist very early on and it doesn’t happen until the very last sentence. I did think it ended very abruptly and would have liked a bit more. For you e-readers, be aware it ends on 87%
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC

OMG! Wow! Having moved to their dream home in Cornwall, Rachel and Tom have it all, but that includes a stalker and it seems Chloe isn’t going to give up. Initially, I thought it appeared clean cut, but then I remembered that Sue Watson was at the helm and so that’s totally out of the question!

Twists, lies, manipulation and only one person Rachel can trust.

Rachel was emotionally fragile and Tom seemed to enjoy that she leaned on him for reassurance. He was controlling, critical of her friendship choices and pushy when encouraging her to face her fears and phobias. Crazy Chloe the stalker and the whole nightmare nursery mums crowd brought another level of guesswork into the story; as any mother knows, that whole school playground thing is the scariest place in the world!

An event in the past returns to Rachel through flashbacks, filling in the pieces for us and linking her trauma in to the present day story, making it even more sinister and building a whole new level of tension.

4.5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Sue Watson and Bookouture, for an ARC in return for an honest review.
