I've actually bought other books by Paul Offit before, so I knew I wanted to read this one. Dr Offit is such a knowledgeable, caring medical professional, and he's dedicated his life to helping.
Vaccines are one of the greatest and most helpful medical interventions, but there's a lot of misinformation and deciding what to do can be frightening. This book lays out the basics of what vaccines do, how they help, how they work, what's in them, and how vaccines can affect you. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has questions.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I have already been recommending it to patients and using information I have learened from it. Everyone should read it. It is a very non-judgemental informative book about vaccines and the reasons behind them and their history and safety. I love Paul Offit and his writing is captivating as well as informative. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I think this book is a great tool for families. I liked the Q and A format and the references after each answer. I appreciated the personal stories and I thank the people willing to share them. The descriptions of the vaccine-preventable diseases and how vaccines work were written in plain language and a conversational tone. I also liked the part of the book that discussed vaccines by age group, making this an easy-to-use tool. Thank you to Netgalley and Columbia University Press for the advance reader copy.
