This is Daisy and Gabriel's story. Reunited after several years, it is clear that they still have a connection abut there are some unanswered questions in their past. The hotel on the island of Jersey almost stands as a character in its own right, It is a central hub for those who live and work in there and it is clear that there is a real family feel.
Gabriel's family are all lively characters who add colour to the story. Daisy's family on the other hand, have a much darker tome. The more you find out about them, the more you can understand Daisy. In Gabriel's Grandmother, Daisy finds a deep friendship and source of comfort. As some dark secrets emerge, Daisy struggles to keep her positive mindset. Looking for a new start, she tries her best to keep looking for what she wants for her future.
In short: sunny days and a wide range of characters
This was a lovely read. I loved returning to Jersey and hearing about past characters and seeing new ones too. This was a lovely story about daisy who has escaped a horrible ex from Devon and is now enjoying life working in a hotel for the summer not realising that the owners son is someone she already knows. Can this be a summer she will not forget.

Review for 'Coming Home To The Sunflower Cliffs' by Georgina Troy.
This book is beautifully written and completely absorbs you in the stunning atmosphere of Jersey and really sucks you in with the vivid descriptions leaving you feel the snowdrops and smell of the sea. The synopsis and cover suits the storyline perfectly.
Yet another absolutely gorgeous book by the very talented Georgina Troy but to be fair I have come to expect nothing else from this fantastic author! I absolutely loved this gorgeous book and cannot wait to get stuck in to the future books in this series as well as the rest of Georgina's gorgeous books in her other book series'!!! Honestly if you are ever in need of a break and fancy the gorgeous Jersey then grab this stunner and prepare to be whisked away on a beautiful holiday!!! This beautiful book is ram packed with friendship, romance, animals, stunning settings, family, love and so much more what else could you ask for? Georgina does an absolutely fantastic job weaving the character perspectives of both Daisy and Gabriel together at perfect timings. The fact that she clearly cares about her characters shines through the pages with her vivid and evocative descriptions. The storyline is authentic and realistic as well as easy to read and heart-warming. There was plenty of events and activities going on throughout and it kept me hooked from start to end, I ended up devouring it in one sitting. However, Georgina's fantastic writing skills felt like I was in Jersey instead of the rainy Wales I am actually sitting in. The storyline was filled with a range of emotions and was heart-warming and had love, relationships and friendships all going on in this beautiful atmosphere. It felt like a lovely break away from Wales!! I loved how the story ended and I would love to read more about the life in the gorgeous Island of Jersey. I was absolutely devastated when I came to the end of this book as I was truly whisked away to Jersey looking at the stunning views. I absolutely loved the gorgeous atmosphere and everything about this beautiful book.
An absolutely gorgeous book!! I cannot wait to go on my next adventure with the very talented Georgina. I absolutely adored being in Jersey but I also enjoyed learning and reading about Daisy and Gabriel and meeting new friends who I absolutely adored!!! An unforgettable holiday!!!
The characters were all unique with their own realistic traits, strengths and weaknesses. I was completely invested in both Daisy and Gabriel from the moment I met them and was rooting for them throughout the book. I also loved meeting several other characters and all of the amazing animals!! I just cannot wait to meet them all again in the previous and next book in this promising series!!! It was intriguing to watch friendships and relationships grow, develop and change throughout the the storyline. Georgina's amazing evocative writing skills brought all the characters and community to life as much as possible and they all leapt out of the pages as well as the stunning atmosphere!!! Anyway, I best not say anymore as don't want to give anything else away for future readers!! It's just so easy talking about this fantastic book and so much I want to tell you all about but I really need to control myself!!! Georgina's evocative descriptions and brilliant character development ensures it feels like you are standing next to Daisy and Gabriel feeling everything they are throughout!! Needless to say I absolutely adored the majority of the characters each for a different reason. All characters worked perfectly with the storyline and I would love to meet them again and cannot wait to get stuck into the previous and next books in this series!!!

Coming Home to the Sunflower Cliffs is the fourth book in the Sunflower Cliffs series by Georgina Troy.
This charming novel brings us back to the picturesque Channel Island of Jersey, introducing Daisy, a receptionist at The Encore, an Art Deco hotel. Daisy is taken aback to encounter Gabriel, the man she once fell for in Vietnam, and even more surprised to discover that his parents are the owners of The Encore! As secrets unfold, will they be able to reignite their relationship?
Georgina's vivid descriptions effortlessly transport readers to Jersey in their mind's eye, making it a dream holiday destination! I was engrossed and read the book in one go!

I do love a Georgina Troy story and this isn’t my first or even second rodeo, I’m an addict now and her books go on my autoread list, they don’t make it to the TBR pile they are just devoured.
Coming Home to the Sunflower Cliffs gives us the wonderful tale of Daisy and Gabriel’s romance, it’s winding road to a HEA, with up and downs, will they get there ? No spoilers from me you’ll have to read it yourself. There’s some great drama, some twists and turns, dilemmas for Daisy and others.
It’s another wonderful story from Georgina, full of great characters, romance , drama, community, humour and wonderful Jersey scenery that will just make you want to go there yourself, thoroughly enjoyed this and recommend wholeheartedly.

This is a gorgeous romance set on the beautiful island of Jersey again from Georgina Troy.
I loved seeing Daisy and Gabriel rekindle their friendship after being apart for so long. The chemistry between them was instant.
Georgina Troy always writes such great characters and the supporting cast in this one were good fun - I especially liked Fi and Lydia.
I flew through the chapters of this one and enjoyed seeing Daisy grow in confidence as she fell in love with the island and it’s community. I dare say you’ll do the same

Blurb
Gabriel has returned to the island of Jersey after ten years abroad to help his aging showbiz parents revive their failing Art Deco hotel, The Encore.
This proves to be something of a challenge, especially as his singer father and actress mother are more concerned with staying in the limelight than keeping track of the cash-flow. It looks like Gabriel isn’t going anywhere fast.
Meanwhile, he’s stunned to find that the hotel’s new receptionist is Daisy, the girl he fell in love with years earlier in Vietnam. But falling in love with someone who is tied to Jersey is the last thing he wants... isn't it?
Previously published as A Jersey Bombshell.
My Opinion
Georgina Troy has yet to write a book that I haven't enjoyed, so when I see that there is a new release I will always read it. For me this was a lovely book to escape with, it was just so relaxing. This book is part of a series and whilst it would work as a standalone I would highly recommend reading the books in the correct order. This is a great read and is going to make for an enjoyable summer read.
Rating 4/5
I read a lot of books that have tough subjects to get through and sometimes I just need an escapist read. A fabulous book to just read in an afternoon, relax and forget about it all. Georgina Troy has books just like this, the afternoon disappeared as I read while sipping tea.
Yes, the characters have problems, just like we all do, and it seems like they won’t be resolved but by the book’s end they are.
I think one of the things I love about reading rom-coms is a guaranteed happy ending. Life is hard so read books that make you happy. I loved the descriptions of the breathtaking island of Jersey.
Life certainly holds surprises, doesn't it? Gabriel, a former Jersey island resident feels he needs to come home. His parents are having trouble with their hotel, financially and otherwise. He'll come home make the hotel have a quick turn around and be on his way.
To his shock Daisy, a woman he met while in Vietnam years ago is now the receptionist at his parents' hotel. He hadn't been able to get Daisy off his mind, unfortunately things don't always work out like we plan them too. Will this be the second chance they need or will the extra baggage they are carrying get in the way of this potential sunny island romance?
A breathtakingly delightful summer romance you won’t easily forget.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book.
