Phew I loved this! So good to have so much more than Dianna and Samkeil’s story - like why am I so invested in Camilla and Vincent?! And Imogen and Issiah?! So so gripping and I have no idea where or how this series will end! Can’t wait for the next book!

What to expect:

- epic fantasy
- gods and monsters
- multiple points of view
- very spicy

Another folklore inspired Romantasy tale that is sure to find it's loyal fanbase out there in the world - definitely not one for my students though, ha ha!!

Absolutely loved this book!

Diana and Samkiel are one of the best couples there are. They are end game for sure. From the very beginning, I was instantly hooked. The plot, the characters and the writing just sucks you in. The journey each of the characters go through is addicting and I loved every second of it!

Honestly the best on in this amazing series.

I was so excited to get to see this family again, in the first two books i defo felt like they were more plot driven whereas i felt this was more character driven.

Diana, is probably my fave FMC ever, i love how protective she is. I am excited to see how they rebel against the king in the next book and how all the amazing sub plots develop!

I’m genuinely speechless after reading this so you’ll have to excuse my chaotic jumbles thoughts of a review.

It’s no secret I love this series and honestly what I wouldn’t give for just an hour inside Amber’s chaotic mastermind of a brain (not sure I’d survive that though).

Amber is possibly one of the most emotionally manipulative writers I have ever read (I mean that in the best way)!
You never know which way she’s taking you with her characters can’t you stop giving baddies incredible depth and just let me truly hate someone please? 🤣 just when you think there’s no coming back for someone she unravels them just a tiny bit, just enough to get their hooks stuck in to you and suddenly you understand why they’re a betraying bas*ard.

There was a very different pace to this book than the previous 2 and it is very character driven as opposed to plot driven whilst a lot of ground work is being set for the story to come. That being said this book is not without action. It is well and truly action packed with copious battles and challenges faced.

We see changes in Dianna that I think by the end are clear why. We get lots of different POVs setting us up for an absolute epic story in the books to come. The world building is incredible and so easy to lose yourself in and above all the romance of Samkiel and Dianna it one to last a lifetime.

I lived for them working out their relationship and sharing little domestic moments, it makes me smile so hard (which is why chapter 59 is 100% a hate crime and I will be pressing charges). That cliff hanger was brutal and I have no idea what I’ll do between now and May 🫠

Once again Amber thank you for making me dead inside. I kneel at your feet my King.

The Dawn of the Cursed Queen begins right at the end of book two and thank god for that because I don't know if I could cope with the anguish of not knowing what happened to Samkiel and Dianna. Samkiel has been killed by Nismera but Dianna has sacrificed to reincarnate him .. but what will that sacrifice be. Kaden continues to be a giant pain in the ass and literally all hell is breaking loose.

There were a lot more spicy and tender moments through the book and I really enjoy Dianna as the main female character who continues to be badass. Cameron is my favourite and I really want to read more about his arc ... which has left me stressed!

Again I would say that book three was too long even though lots happened but again so much is left unresolved. Is it too much to wish for a happy ending?! Why is this story so bloody addictive?

The way Amber V Nicole just to end the book was just plain cruel at this point! I would rate this 3.5 stars.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series so much, its a well paced story and I really am grateful the author provides a recap at the start of the book as so much has happened in book 1 and 2 that it helps to have a recap if you didnt have time to reread the books.

Diana is still pure chaos and heart in this book, she goes through so much turmoil again in this book, hopefully in the next book we get some stability for her. Nismera is ruthless throughout this story, with her brothers at her side and most realms bowing to her through fear she seems pretty impossible to defeat. Samkiel has many challenges to overcome during this story but Diana is his lifeboat throughout.

So gutted we will have to wait on the next book to possibly get a conclusion but this world and the journey is so enjoyable so I look forward to it!

It's not often that I read a series and book 3 still gets 5 whole stars. Dianna still rocks, Sami is still a simp akd I love it all. There were some minor things that annoyed me, but they just managed to humanize the characters more.
What I love about this series is the fact thag the main couple is not very different in age, they are both a thousand years old at least, so there is nothing creepy going on there. I hope to god that the side characters won't die, I have become attached and might cry.
That being said, the twist at the end.. now THAT I didnt expect, and I always (like 99%, I'm not exaggerating) see then plot twists coming up. This was was goood and I am begging you to hurry with the writing cause I can't wait for the next book.
.
Oh, and my biggest disappointment, was realizing in the middle of the book that it can't possibly wrap up the story, and then I googled it, and there are two more books coming out and thats just evil at this point. Ever since these series came out I've been constantly waiting for the next one.

The World Ender is dead, and The Hand of Rashearim now walks around blindly, listening to every demand of Nismera who ruthlessly reigns over the realms.
Only, Samkiel isn’t dead and Dianna can’t let anyone know she has brought him back from the dead. Not even Samkiel as she struggles to find the right time as he slowly heals.

There is a lot of POVs in this one which gives you such a sprawling look from so many different places and characters on both sides of ‘good’ and ‘evil’.
How can you start to feel sorry for the bad guys?!!!! Nooooo!

“Since I have a pussy, they prefer queen, but we all know in our world the title of king holds more power."

Dianna is stubborn. Hard-headed. Strong-willed. She is chaos, Samkiel is order. Their souls are literally made for each other. This is the epitome of touch them and you die.

Perhaps it was truly a funny thing not to realize how broken or damaged you were until someone came along and picked up every single fractured piece and showed you how just being you was enough.

It felt like a lot happened but nothing major really did? Like nothing that seriously advanced the plot from where we were left at book two. However, whilst being a filler book to set things up, it really didn’t feel like it. Action, emotions, a lot of spice (I skipped them but there were A LOT)…

Overall, another heart-gripping romantasy from Amber! Heavy emphasis on the romance (and physicality) for this one!

Thank you to Headline for providing the arc in exchange for a review!

Thank you Headline, Headline Eternal and NetGalley for the arc of The Dawn of The Cursed Queen by Amber V. Nicole in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I have spent today devouring The Dawn of the Cursed Queen and I have no regrets. OK, I have one regret - I need the next book in this series NOW! That ending!!!

In her 3rd book of the Gods & Monsters series Amber V. Nicole does not hold back - the aftermath of betrayal & murder, the rule of the terrible Nismera, the romance and love between Dianna and Samkiel and so much more!

Nicole continues to weave an ever more intricate and terrifyingly stunning tapestry of love, fantasy, action, destruction, chaos, plots within plots and more that left me unable to put this book down!

Nicole's world-building expands exponentially, as she masterfully develops an all encompassing universe of worlds and people and power!

If you are looking for a fantasy series that will have you gripped, that delivers a multi-faceted storyline, action, romance, angst, spice, morally grey characters, heroes and villains by the armada, then you must pick this series up!

4.75 stars. I read The Dawn of the Cursed Queen in under 48 hours. Book 3 in the Gods & Monsters series took me on a rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end.

Having re-read book 1 and 2 before book 3, Amber has taken the world, action, plot, romance, writing and characters to a whole other level in this book. The world is substantially bigger as we're introduced to new characters and additional POVs, adding interesting subplots, layers and complexity to the story. We pick up right where we left off in book 2 where Nismera now rules the realms and Dianna does everything she can to protect Samkiel.

I preferred the last half of the book over the first, my heart stopped and started multiple times. Sprinkle in a little screaming, gasps and 'oh my gods' - I wish I could read it for the first time again. While I did still enjoy the first half, I felt frustrated over a character's choices. Amber certainly made up for it though and in the context of this character's back story, it is understandable despite my own personal feelings. This book is also the spiciest book in the series so far, and while I knew this would naturally progress as the series goes on, I personally felt that some spicy scenes did not add to the story and was a little excessive given the context of some spicy scenes.

Overall, The Dawn of the Cursed Queen was addictive and from the ending, it's setting up the series for something big as we're left on a cliffhanger and crumbs of new information that I must get to the bottom of. At first, I felt it was almost random and while they were foreshadowed, I felt it needed a stronger connection to the rest of the story so that it didn't feel particularly out of the blue. Nevertheless, I am extremely interested to see where the ending takes us going forward as I did not expect it at all.

The series still reigns as one of my top adult Romantasy series. Book 3 has also firmly cemented Samkiel & Dianna as THE Romantasy couple for a multitude of reasons. I need Book 4 in my hands despite writing this review before book 3 has been released!

Thank you Headline Eternal and Amber V Nicole for the e-arc on NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I am writing this review for all the novels in this series after re-reading the first and discovering I was enjoying it more than before.
The different instalments this series are very entertaining and well plotted, there's an improvement with each novel. The storytelling is goodand I had a lot of fun.
I enjoyed this series and it's recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

Compared to book 2 this was such an happy read 😆 I was prepared for increasing amounts of trauma but thankfully I was given cute couples moments, loads of POV getting to know more characters, some sad moments as well as even more points that PROVE my theories are right 🤭 This book was action packed but tame in terms of density compared to the previous books. Each book definitely has very specific themes and are very distinguishable.

I thoroughly enjoy Amber's writing and I'd read her shopping list if given the chance, I think her style makes it easy to understand what's happening while giving plenty of description.

This book was definitely the most spicy out of the books so far, not only because of the amount of spice but also because of what happens in the scenes.

✨ARC Review✨
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️🌶️🌶️.5

Crying. Screaming. Throwing up.

First off, thank you so much for this ARC copy to review.

This was my most anticipated read of 2024 and it was everything I could have hoped for.

I’d like to state that Dianna is one of my favourite written FMCs to this day. Her strength, reasoning and pure devotion to the people she cares about, all with an edge of how truly bad ass she is, is unmatched (I hope I grow up to be like her one day).

When people write about how much they love fictional men, I like to think they are just talking about Samkiel, because I certainly am, (he’s absolute filth, which helps).

Together this couple has my entire heart and soul, I don’t think I’ve ever rooted for a couple as strongly as these two.

The different POVs in this just hit so well, and gave so many insights into the characters that I have grown to adore in this series and added new ones to that list that I never thought would be there 👀 The plot driven with this narrative is so wonderfully done, 800 pages flew by and now I’m sat heartbroken because of the waiting for book four to be released.

The third book has completely cemented my adoration and love for this entire series. Well done Amber V. Nicole for writing one of the best fantasy series I’ve read in years 👏

I beg of you, if you’ve not started this series… THIS is your sign.

The Dawn of the Cursed Queen by Amber V. Nicole delves deeper into a world where gods and monsters clash. Following the aftermath of betrayal and bloodshed, Nismera, the Goddess of War, now reigns supreme, leaving Dianna and Samkiel in a precarious position.
