A very thrilling read. If some0ne offered you £1,000,000 to drive a car, would you? This was the question Nicolle was asked online by a random stranger. Checking her bank account and seeing the money there, there was no way back.
This was an intense read, twists and turns, trusting no-one, Nicolle desperately trying to piece together the greater picture. But with her husband missing and not being able to talk to anyone for fear whoever was doing this would harm her and her children, Nicolle had to just follow the instructions to get her life back.
An absolutely thrilling ride. An edge of the seat book that makes the reader think about what they would do in Nicolle's position.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good psychological thriller.

This novel was superbly plotted and expertly sculpted to keep you guessing, which kept me engaged throughout. It is liberally bursting with anxious moments, red herrings and suspicions. As the momentum gathers, the dynamics change, becoming gripping and sinister. Towards the end, I had a ‘freeze response’, holding my breath anxiously. I was foxed all the way through to its blistering, unexpected ending. What would I have done in Nicole’s position? I’m still thinking that through with all its chilling variables.

Gripping story right to the very end. Centred round a very normal and relatable family adds to the tension, creating an unsettling feeling that this could, just maybe, so easily happen to someone like you. A happy conclusion but such a desperate journey to get there.

once the reader feels like they’ve worked a piece of information out another thing is revealed. making this a gripping read.

This is a well paced page turner of a thriller I would recommend to everyone.

I enjoyed the fast pace of this book, I like some characters and despised others! was unable to guess who was behind everything until the reveal & found the story was summed up and ended well.

I quite enjoyed this book, the pace was good, and the story kept me guessing. It didn't maybe have the punch I would have liked but overall not a bad read, and be great for the beach definitely a book to take on your holidays.

A pretty decent read with a few good twists and turns. A reasonably quick read with quite good pacing. The plot was interesting and I didn’t guess the reveal of who was behind it all.
