A cute story about Rosie learning to accept herself and feel encouraged on her adventures in the forest. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy.
This book was fine. It was a happy go lucky story about a little bunny finding that they two are special just like everybody else. The book does a decent job rhyming but sometimes the cadence has tripoint. But overall, the book is successful at what it was set up to do.
This tale is great for young children to see and learn about different animals and what makes them special and to see their own strengths, too! I liked the message of using your unique abilities to help others.
I wouldβve liked to have a bit more emphasis on what makes rabbit special and how she overcomes her self-doubt, since she is the main character.
This is a wonderful little story that encourages children and helps them understand how unique they are. We follow Rosie who is shy and small. She goes out to find what makes each animal special. After finding herself carrying out a rescue mission she learns a lot about herself and how strong she really is. An adorable story that emphasizes to children that they are wonderful and amazing just the way they are. They should celebrate and be proud of their uniqueness. Adorable illustrations add the fun of the story and the feelings it explains. Your family will enjoy this story.
π ππ π¦π£πππππ π§π’π’! With its simple language and pretty illustrations is an easy and enjoyable read with the added bonus of imparting a very important lesson. We follow Rosie as she tryβs to figure out what makes her special. On her journey she comes across various forest friends and discovers their uniqueness and in so doing discovers her own, a lovely story and special message. A welcome addition to any classroom or personal library.
Such an adorable book with a good reminder for both young and old readers. Rosie, a shy bunny, goes on a journey to discover her strengths - which ends up being bravery and courage. This book is a reminder that everyone is uniquely wired with our own individual strengths.
The message of this book is the best part, here we meet Rosie, a bunny who feels like everyone is special but herself. Throughout the story we see Rosie find confidence in herself and realize that everyone matters, even her.
As a topic that often affects adults, I think it's great that young children don't grow up with the mentality that they are never enough. So, like I said, it is such an important book that it can be read before bed since it has a rhythm that resembles a poem or a song.
The drawings were simple but very pretty.
*Thanks to NetGalley uk, the publishers and the author for the ARC*
This book had a cute premise, but ultimately fell a bit flat. The pictures were really cute , and the message was positive. However, the rhyming felt extremely forced, and some words felt like they didn't make much sense and were just added in for the sake of a rhyme.
There was a couple spelling mistakes, and the story just didn't quite make sense.
What a sweet story! Adorable characters and illustrations that convey a meaningful message that we each carry a unique gift. Everyone is valued; when we strengthen each of those gifts, we become indomitable!
I could have used hearing this sort of message more as a child. A sweet story about a bunny who sees the special in everyone else, and then finally sees it in herself too.
I'm not sure it needed a villain - the fox could have been another lesson in understanding differences.
Thank you to NetGalley & the publisher for access to this e-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is a cute story especially as far as the illustrations. This story is a sweet reminder and should appeal to children. Thanks for letting me read a copy
This is such a special lesson and adorable illustrations! This is a story of a little rabbit who doubts her talents. She can recognize all the things that make other animals in the forest special, but she is scared of loud sounds and just about everything else. She is kind and sweet, though. In the end, she finds her courage and some traits about herself that do make her special.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book for free in exchange for my review! All opinions are my own.
I loved this book. Between the beautiful illustrations and the lovely message, this was just an all around feel good book. It almost makes me wish I was a child that could read more fun and empowering books like this. I'm glad to see more children's books coming out about thoughts and emotions. Wish they had more of those when I was a child!

"The best thing you can be is your own special you"
I like the idea that we are all special in our own way and the illustrations were absolutely gorgeous. I wonder if Rosie could be special without making the fox a villain and instead they could have used both of their special talents to solve a problem together. but
*Typo on page 7 should be weak and not week
I loved the illustrations in this short tale about a little bunny who suffers from low self-esteem, but the text had rhymes that seemed forced and detracted from the story.
This is a delightful story which will help children understand that no matter how shy or lacking in confidence they may feel, we each have our own skills and gifts to bring to our relationships with each other, and to the world.
By initiating an unexpected rescue of another creature in distress, this quiet little rabbit, who is remarkably hard on herself, discovers that she too has important and unique qualities which others can appreciate.
The illustrations are adorable, and so is the protagonist. Recommended for those wanting to help any child to gain greater confidence.
Self love and acceptance in yourself can be a difficult concept for people especially for adults who grew up feeling anything less then. So, if you're reading this book for your child, student or even just because you couldn't resist that cute bunny on the cover, I hope reading it also heals your inner child.
I would definitely recommend this book especially for children because in this day and age, the world can be a pretty brutal. And though it was short and sweet, the message of the story was conveyed in the purest and cutest way possible!
Thank you Anna TomΓ s and Netgalley for this wholesome ARC!
Overall, the story had a great lesson to teach young children about valuing themselves and digging deep to find what makes them special. Aside from the one spelling error (week, instead of weak) the prose was error-free. At times, I stumbled on the ryhming prose because a line appeared slightly too long or too short on a few occasions.
I imagine this book being read to lull a little one of to sleep because of its sing-song nature, length, and muted color pallette. More vibrant illustrations might have been preferable for a book intended for general story time. That said, this is a title that is likely to be enjoyed by lower primary school children and younger.
Thank you Netgalley and booksgosocial for the wonderful ARC in exchange of an honest review.
The first thing I want to teach my kid is self acceptance and self love coz that's what matters the most in my opinion. This book teaches in easier way that how everyone is unique and special. There's always something hidden inside everyone which makes them different from others.
It teaches it all in the simplest way possible. Highly recommend it.
