It was the cover that drew me to this rather than the blurb .
It's super.
Unfortunately I didn't feel the same about the content.
I was surprised to find it's the first book in the series, as several times I told myself "I wish I'd read the previous books first"
Add that to the slow pace, and it wasn't great.
I did enjoy learning about the pellat and some village tittle tattle, but not a series I'll be pursuing.
