I love a good fae/human intermingle read. The politics between the two worlds is chefs kiss. This book had action, magic, family issues, as well as other creatures aside from fae. I really enjoyed this and cannot wait for book 2!

Thought I would give Fantasy with Faeries a try. Found out it's not for me. Anyone who is into this kind of genre, this book is for you. Full of characters and a good plot, but like I said, just not my kind of thing.

A book for faery lovers that will have you up all night to finish it, I really couldn't put it down, the charming, fast paced and compelling.
This book has something for everyone. Magic, faeries, strong opinionated characters, mysteries, and a sweet romance between our two main characters.
I found our protagonists so easy to love, rooting for them to find answers to their questions or escape perilous situations, which kept me engaged.

This was beautiful! My only complaint was that I had to access this through the shelf and not Kindle. I like having all of my books in one place. Anyways, I was so excited to be given the opportunity to read this before the general public!! The characters were beautiful, writing style, world building, charisma, ALL of it!

How can I express to you how much I love a fun easy, magical book? YA fantasy is often a place I go on my bookshelves when i am in need of something not to heavy and when the world outside is overwhelming. This book provided me an escape I cannot wait to dive into again.
I saw Faeries Don't Lie offered on NetGalley and the gold filigree cover drew me into wanting to know more about the world. When it was approved for reading and review, I dove in with excited and was not disappointed. The world is richly developed and the characters are well done. I won't even caveat that by saying in a YA Fantasy book because I simply think the characters were impressive and engaging. There is a bit of a romance between Aunia and Mathia, but it's cute and not spicy. The way I like my romances to be.
There are themes of wanting to belong, understanding, compassion, and themes of finding your place in the world. All of which, I feel most readers can connect with on some level.
I am excited to see what Book #2 will have to offer as T. F. Burke continues to build out the world, the conflicts, and the human and fae societies. Get ready to be sucked in to a new world of wonder.

I loved every single second of this amazing book. So so so good. I rated it 4 stars because it's such a good story and the characters are perfect.

I was really excited by the description of this book and even after having read it, the concept is fantastic. I would dearly love to see Faeries Don't Lie after a thorough editing process.
