As a Swiftie, I was very excited to read this book. It has everything from new Swifties to people who have been fans of her for years! This book was jampacked with information, even I learned a few things while reading it. The illustrated graphics and illustrations of her iconic outfits offered a bit of whimsy and nostalgia, that made my heart happy.

I was disappointed by how much this book focused on the relationships of Taylor's life, especially when the author referred to Cory Monteith as an ex when they were publicly never stated to be more than friends and "Kaylor" when Taylor has pleaded her fans to stop shipping her with her friends and made a statement about not being a part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2019. Beyond that, the author made the timeline of her career a little fuzzy, particularly with the Borchetta-Braun fiasco which is most likely due to the fact that they do not want to be sued for libel. This book could have been a lot more fun if it had actually focused on the Swiftie fandom and Easter eggs but in it's current form, I find it at best, boring, and at worst, disrespectful to the artist the author claims is "life".

I have loved Taylor's music since I was a kid so I really wanted to know more about her and this was a great insight into her and her life! I think this would be perfect for new Swifties or anyone like me who is a long time listener and wants to know more about the artist behind the music

I am not a superfan, of Taylor Swift or anyone else. I have been exposed to some Swift superfans, who have shared lots of trivia and fun facts with me. I sat through the Eras tour on Disney+. I quite like Swift's music, but am fascinated by her fandom. This book is super-cute, illustrated with hand-drawn pictures of Swift in all her iconic costumes. It uses previous interviews for all it's quotes, but actually gives the source and date of these in the text. Does this book have much (any) information that a "superfan" wouldn't already know? Probably not, but it is a well written, prettily presented, really fun wander through Taylor Swift's life and career. I would buy this book in hardback for my Swiftie friends coffee table, it's just so pretty.

This book is the perfect palate cleanser between challenging reads, perfect for all the swifties who want to find out more about their favourite blondie. It is a very quick read, perfect even for people who usually don’t read much.
I enjoyed a lot the biography part but what had me mostly excited was her discography. I loved reading about all the albums (even the tortured poet’s department is included) and their covers, titles, lyrics and other anecdotes.
I found the explanation about the different Easter eggs particularly helpful to take some of the hints that Taylor dropped without me noticing.
Last but not least, I appreciated the idea of putting a “Taylorscope” in the end, that assigned a song from Tay to each zodiac sign with even an explanation and description.
To sum up, I would recommend this book particularly to those who are new to this fandom or want to discover more about Taylor both as a person and as an artist.

As someone who appreciates the power of a good narrative, I found the anecdotes from fans and the analysis of her songwriting quite intriguing. It’s a testament to Swift’s ability to craft stories that resonate with so many.

However, I must admit, as someone who usually gets lost in the pages of fantasy and romance, “Taylor Swift is Life” didn’t quite hit the high notes I was hoping for. It was like listening to an album where you enjoy a few songs but skip the rest. The book is a decent read, especially for die-hard fans, but for me, it was a gentle reminder that not every book will sing to your soul.

In the end, “Taylor Swift is Life” is a solid tribute to an icon who has become a soundtrack to many lives, including occasionally mine. It’s a celebration of her journey and the magic she creates with her music, even if it doesn’t quite capture the full concert experience I’ve come to love in her albums.

I loved the illustrations throughout the book's entirety. I already knew a lot of info in this book, but loved more of a deep dive. Would recommend to any Swiftie or to someone who wants to learn more about Taylor!

I absolutely ADORED this book! As a diehard lifelong Swiftie, I have consumed soo many books on Taylor and this is by far the cutest one I’ve read.

It takes us through each of Taylor’s Eras and Albums (including TTPD which was so exciting to read about) and gives information and insight on each Era and what makes it special.

It skims the surface and provides a very basic timeline with background information on her life, and musical success. Which makes it a great read to include children on, because the writing isn’t too deep. And the illustrations in this book were the icing on top of the cake. So much detail and attention went into the illustrations that included so many outfits from the Eras tour.

Bottom line, if you are a Swiftie you need to add this beautiful book to your collection!!

Such an informative read. It does have most of the well known facts about Taylor, however it would have been better if it had some facts that only a small percentage of Swifties would know to make it just that little but more unique.

What a sweet book for any Swiftie. I’m not one, but my daughter and granddaughter are, even going to Las Vegas for the Era’s tour. I enjoyed the pieces about her life, although much is known and easily found. This book is very succinct and five details into all her albums, snippets of her loves and friends. I also think the artwork is perfectly matched to the book. Another great feature is the list of all her albums and songs and I found it particularly interesting that it details her muses for her songs as we know that all her albums are based on moments in time. At the end you will find her small piece of horoscope and then it goes through all the astrological signs as her fan. All in all, this is going to make a great gift for those swifties that want to collect memorabilia

What an absolutely cute book! The illitration is magnificent and beautiful. It reminds me of the old school Barbie met Taylor Swift! The content was so facinating, I actually learned a lot about Taylor Swift that I didn't even know. I am by no means a absolute die hard Swiftie but I do consider myself to be somewhat of one. I will most definitely be buying this book for my shelf as it is beautiful and so well written. I truly enjoyed myself reading this book! If you love Taylor Swift and want to learn more or even see if you know as much as this author, I would highly recommend this book!!! Taylor Swift is Life is a perfect book for Swifties as it chronicles her life in detail. My 11 year old daughter enjoyed this book and it was accessible and engaging for her too! The illustrations are well done and this was a departure from typical non fiction books with tons of glossy photographs. If you have a Swifitie in your life this will be a great gift!

It is interesting that it does not include her new album as it has been released and the book will be released July 16, 2024.

Great book for anyone interested in knowing more about Taylor Swift and her music! Pretty illustrations, and great behind the scenes information about her inspirations, writing sessions, tours, and her life. As someone who likes her music, but didn't know much about her, this was a great read!
