Creepy Kitchen Is one of those cookbooks you pick up because it looks cute and fun. I will have to try some of these recipes when spooky season comes around because not only are there side dishes and snacks but there is even a variety of drink options to try. I am going to have to pick up a few copies for myself and a few of my friends. The dinner roll recipe will probably be a staple for all of October and maybe even thanksgiving so festive, simple and cute

This book was so cute! The illustrations were beautiful and definitely what caught my eye. I do wish however that they had included actual photos of the food.
But the recipes looked yummy and easy to follow. Thank you netgalley for an earc of this book.

I absolutely cannot wait for this book to come out so I can buy one. There’s so many tasty looking recipes while also being creepy and cute. A staple book to own if you love creepy and you love baking/cooking

Cute recipes, I love the art. I might try a few of the recipes since none are super complicated. The theme is a lot of fun.

4 stars

adorable recipes but very simple. Some seem really impractical and not very worth it for what you get.

I loved the illustrations, they are super cute, but I would have preferred to see actual photos.

There are many Halloween-themed recipes and they sound absolutely delicious. I think it is the perfect book if you want to make some spooky food.

Creepy Kitchen is a winner of a themed cookbook. First of all, the illustrations are really great. The recipes are creative and with fun recipe names. The recipes are easy follow and not fussy which is a plus if you have kids! I made several of the recipes with great reviews from my husband, lol. From the Starters and Drinks section I tried The Great Pumpkin Curry Soup and Shark Bite Sipper. The soup was tasty and came together easily. The drink was refreshing and visually appealing. Finally from the Goth Valentine's Day section (Yes, there's a Valentine's section! Halloween is my favorite holiday, second to Valentine's Day) Black Velvet Whoopie Pies. These were so good. The cake is moist and the addition of coffee added something special. The strawberry flavor in the frosting was subtle and just right. Last, is the How To section with valuable tips to pull off a fun event of any size or any time of year.

I highly recommend Creepy Kitchen for Halloween inspired dishes and ideas for your next hauntingly special event. Thanks to NetGalley and Rock Point Publishing for early access.

The recipes are easy to follow and fun to make. Great go to book of you are planning any Halloween parties. My only complaint is that I would have loved actual photos of the food. The drawings are super cute but I feel like I really need to see an actual picture of what I'm making for a reference

The book is very pretty with lovely illustrations, it's very well laid out and informative. There's a good variety of recipes for different skill levels and I will definitely be trying a few of them! There's a helpful 'how to' section at the back. I've given the book 4 stars rather than 5 as I would prefer to see actual photographs of the recipe rather than a drawing. Note that this book uses American terms such as 'all purpose flour' etc.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the review copy.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kim Kindelsperger for the chance to read and review this lovely cookbook.

The cover caught my eye first. The illustrations were cute, and the names and festive Halloween dishes were so creative! I found several new ideas I want to try for Halloween this year.

The table of contents makes it easy to find each recipe and is sorted by course. There is a section for spooky Christmas and Valentine's recipes as well. The author has included a full tool and equipment list at the beginning of the book, so you can prepare before you get started with all the fun recipes you find! In the back, you can find helpful how-to instructions which could be helpful if you plan to include children in your baking and cooking fun. If you’re looking for Halloween treats for your family or gathering this spooky season, this is a cute book to find ideas.

one of my goal for the incoming spooky season is to finally have a creepy buffet, so this title was just on time.
I have to admit: the art isn't one of my favourite but I appreciate how the recipes goes from "super easy don't be scare" to "it's easy, don't let your laziness and previously mistakes win over you"

some dishes were really famous one, other where original one so it's gonna be a nice surprise for very navigate Pinterest people and a pretty gift for the goth significant other

Fun recipes. Delightful illustrations, however I also wish they included photographs of the food to have a clearer image of the final food recipe product.

I have a friend who celebrates Halloween year 'round with her family, and this spooky book with 60 ghoulish yet tasty recipes will be my gift to them. The creepy illustrations and lol recipe names (Banana Split Personality Popsicles, Sausage Biscuit Brains, Vain Vanessa's Vampire Bites) will make you howl with delight. A gem!

I loved this! I love when cookbooks have themes and I thought having a cookbook all about Halloween was so fun! The illustrations were also amazing, I loved them all! It is a really eye appealing cookbook. I also liked that the beginning has a list of the tools and equipment you would need.
All the recipes sounded so good!

I recommend this cookbook it is perfect for the fall!

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the arc!

This cook book is original and inspirational. A lot of imagination was put into it, and I want to thank the author for thinking of adding the metric conversions in all the ingredient lists! I already shortlisted a bunch of recipes to try. Really enjoyed all the eerie, spooky vibes of the illustrations too.

60 recipes to help make your Halloween eerie, fun and delicious. They are simple to make and are creative and unique. The chapter names ( like, Bewitching Bites and Shadowy Sides, or Sinister Sweets and Diabolical Desserts) as well as the recipe names (like, Attack of Killer Tomato Soup, or, The Great Pumpkin Curry Soup, or, Whisper and Scream Mac N Cheese) add humor and to this cookbook. The Did You KNow? trivia was cool and an excellent addition. Illustrations were perfect done for the recipes.
There are plant-based, vegan and meat dishes, and I have several I can't wait to attempt to make-Tell Tale Lasagna Heart and Invasion of Brussels Sprouts look excellent to me.
'Creepy Kitchen' will help inspire the inexperienced as well as the professional chef to get into the kitchen and start creating. These recipes are a great way to ssstart the season.
Thanks to NetGalley fro sending this e-book ARC for review.

I absolutely adore a good Halloween themed cookbook and this one is such a treat!!! The recipes are unique, none of the standard old "finger sandwiches" or "mummy hotdogs" to be found, and oh what a relief that was to see!! I do not want to wait for Autumn to arrive to make the Bourbon Bramble or the pumpkin curry soup...it all looks too delicious. I hate to wish my summer away but, wow, this cookbook definitely makes me look forward to Fall. I'll be looking for a print copy of this when it hits the shelves.

I love anything cute spooky and I love this book. I think the book itself is absolutely adorable, and with some personal modificstions for taste and dietry restrictions (aka making Gluten Free versions) I could see me actually making a few of the recipes. Nothing in here is particularly groundbreaking, however as someone who often struggles to find simple meals in cookbooks that will do for the whole family. I loved the illustrations, hkwever to do think having a real image of the food would be helpful too, especially as a beginner cook.
I feel like this would be a fun addition to any spooky lovers collection and adding a creepy cute, eerie charm to your kitchen. I know that I will be adding this to my gift ideas list.

While the recipes aren't necessarily inspired or unique, they are well written and easy to follow. More so, they are very nicely themed. The cartoonish images are cute, but wouldn't help an inexperienced cook in knowing what they're actually making. Recommended for libraries where themed cookbooks are popular, but otherwise it's a good add on for your spooky October displays.
